THE JAPANESE CHIN CLUB

CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

2ND NOVEMBER 2025

Due to Jenny Matches unable to fulfil her long- awaited appointment due to injuries incurred from her horrific car accident, I was appointed the replacement judge. I know you will join me in wishing Jenny a speedy recovery and hope it won’t be too long before we see her again at shows.

The show was very well organised and had a very friendly atmosphere and it was lovely to hear exhibitors enjoying themselves and applauding the winners.

I have several thanks to make.

Starting with the exhibitors who were kind enough to support me as the replacement judge. My ring steward Bob Potts for the excellent work he did in keeping the show running so smoothly, and efficiently, and lastly the Officers, Committee and Club Members for my beautiful judge’s gift.

There were several dogs not just puppies but older ones who seemed reluctant to move, not sure why, was it the mats, noise or were they just having an off day. I have deliberately

not included hare feet in my critique as the most of the dogs shown today had them.

As the Baby puppies are so young and can change so much

I am just giving a brief description
