1ST 2184 - Bedeslea Prada Paradoxe (Mr J, Mrs S & Mrs V Cuddy, Cuddy & Norbury) Moderately broad head with widest point being at zygomatic arches, slightly divergent planes, muzzle shorter than skull, big slightly protruding nose, slight stop, good ear set and shape, expressive eyes; very handsome indeed. Rather narrow in front, good ribbing and well set on tail. Used his muscular quarters to drive round the ring. Carries an excellent coat. BPD.

2ND 2206 - Sikama Stargazing (Miss V Wilson). A very raw baby whose coat is rather loose atm. He is well boned, has good length of leg to depth and moved very well.

1ST 2182 - Spencer Tracy (Dr K Bond) Impressive on the stack, robustly built with sturdy bone, compact and taut body with good ribbing. Short, strong loin, wide croup, well balanced angles with longer second thighs than upper. Broad head with a soft expression, rather short and slightly arched neck. Positive mover with good head and tail carriage.

2ND 2202 - Tigre Di Casa Ghini (Mrs T & Mrs L Webb & Ferguson) Has correct leg to depth ratio, rather narrow front with good depth but could use a bit more spring of rib. Balanced head planes and moved well once settled.

3RD 2200 - Arcticbreeze On The Double (ai) (Mrs D & Mr M Thomas)

1ST 2205 - Mad Max Madiba of Freworth (Imp Ita) JW (Mrs J V Whitworth) What a cracking dog this is. He exudes breed type with his sturdy and robust build and square appearance. He is so very well balanced having the correct leg length to height at withers and his body is compact and strong with a straight topline that falls slightly to his croup. Neck is comparatively short and muscular and fits very cleanly into his moderate lay of shoulder. He has well boned legs and stands on almost round front feet. Deep chest, somewhat narrow in front, slight tuck up, long, wide and muscular croup with well set on tail. His powerful quarters have slightly more angulation than his front. I loved his correctly proportioned head with its large slightly protruding nose and he has such a bright and kindly expression in his fairly large well set eyes. He had the best coat of the day; dense, curly and woolly and not obscuring his eyes. He has a wonderful tireless gait with a precise footfall and holds his shape perfectly. BD & BOB.

2ND 2189 - Rajo del Carpino Nero (Mr D H Lightfoot) Well proportioned but slightly racier looking and longer in loin than the winner. Handsome head, rather short neck, moderate lay of shoulder, woolly coat.

1ST 2194 - Arcticbreeze On Vacation (Mr J & Miss G Pragg & Willott) Squarely built, compact, rather narrow in front, good ribs, moderately broad head, good eye, short neck. Coat is woolly and has thick ring shaped curls. Carried himself well on the move.

2ND 2186 - Bransbubble High Neb (Ms D & Mrs B Hamlyn) Longer in hock than the winner and doesn’t have the curl throughout but I preferred his length of leg to that of the winner. He has a balanced head but the length of coat was obscuring his eyes. Loved his big protruding nose. Plenty of depth and ribbing, moved well with terrific tail carriage.

1ST 2185 - Truffalusa November Moon from Mizani (Mrs L Ferguson) Good length of leg, true in front, sturdy bone, compact feet. Slight slope to topline and croup, tail set on correctly. Plenty of heart and lung room, well angulated behind, curly and woolly coat. Terrific front movement but rather wide behind which cost him in the challenge. RBD.

2ND 2203 - Arcticbreeze Turbulence at Allsong (Mr S A & Mrs B L Whittick) I found him shorter in leg than the winner so he doesn’t have the same balance. Broad head, lovely eye and kind expression, well set ears. Doesn’t have the length of second thigh of the winner. Coat of good texture.

1ST 2192 - Bedeslea Pradasphere (Mrs V & Mrs C Norbury & Adkin’s-Fry) I really fell for this one! I loved everything about her; her shape, balance and sturdy build. She has an exquisite head with muzzle shorter than skull, slightly divergent planes, moderate stop and alert expression. Slight width at withers which are just above her topline which falls gently into her long wide and muscular croup. Beautifully angulated quarters with a slightly longer lower thigh than upper, upright rear pasterns and hind feet a bit more oval than front. She has lovely facial furnishings and beautiful curls on her body. She moves easily with drive and holds her shape. BB & BP.

2ND 2183 - Bedeslea Casa Di Prada (Mrs J & Miss E Conlon) Another lovely bitch who I see now is litter sister to the winner (as is 3rd placed). Her coat didn’t quite have the curl of the winner’s and she couldn’t match her movement. That said I liked her very much. She has a fabulous tail action and displays a wonderful temperament.

1ST 2198 - Made Chianti for Timtaurn JW (Mrs A Stephenson) A very well made example of the breed who present a great shape on the stack. Typical front assembly, plenty of heart and lung room and carries a firm topline that drops slightly to her wide croup. Shortish well arched neck, balanced head with tight lips. Her coat was a bit loose today. Strong hind movement.

2ND 2193 - Solipse L'amore Vero at Heidsieck (Imp Sk) (Mrs S E & Mr D J Piper) Doesn’t have the front nor the quarters of the winner but her head is very pretty, pigment is excellent and her expression alert and intelligent. Very clean over neck and shoulders. Movement was OK but not as good behind as the winner.

1ST 2191 - Mizani Sebio Iola (Mrs L Lillicrap) A balanced girl who is very well made and presents a typical outline. Strong, arched neck, moderate lay of shoulder, long in blade and equal to length of upper arm. Plenty of depth, good finish to croup, wide quarters. Tight front feet, slightly more oval hind feet. She has a very pretty head and tight lips giving her a lovely ‘smile’. Great mover. RBB.

2ND 2199 - Arcticbreeze Smile and Wave (Mr J & Miss J Tanner & Kirkham) She did herself no favours on the stack standing with a slight roach to her back. However, she has breed type, correct head planes, strong quarters and moved OK.

1ST 2196 - Havana King of The Truffles to Byphar (Mrs K & Miss C Roberts) Rustic and sturdy in appearance, squarely built with good length of leg. Strong topline, sloping croup with good tail set, powerful quarters, short hocks. Moved well. Displays the loveliest temperament.

2ND 2188 - Arcticbreeze Hopscotch to Floreydown (Miss W Heller) Smaller bitch with the most beautiful and appealing eyes. Great over neck and shoulders, plenty of depth, I would just like a bit more length of leg. Fabulous head and tail carriage on the move.
