Class 813 LD (5 Entries) Abs: 2 A lovely class.

1st: 1632 GROVES, Miss S & PIPES, Mr A Bushwacker Don Juan JW. A most impressive dog of correct and unmistakable type. He presents an almost square and noble outline, with great bone and substance. Masculine head of correct proportions, showing the characteristic chiselling, median line, pronounced occiput, slight stop, deep muzzle and divergent planes. Eyes soft in expression, giving the desired gentle, intelligent outlook. Strong, well-arched neck flowing cleanly into well laid-back shoulders with good return of upper arm, allowing for a true, free-reaching front action. Chest deep and broad with well-sprung ribs carried well back, providing excellent heart and lung room. Characteristic topline held well on the move, strong loin, hindquarters muscular and well-angulated with rear edge almost straight. Moved with purpose and efficiency, covering the ground with ease, showing the correct extension and drive so essential to the breed’s function. A dog of real quality who fully deserved the CC.

2nd: 1615 BELL, Miss Amanda Whitgun Renegade Master At Owlspoint Jw Shcex Osw. Well-balanced, long and angular head with deep muzzle and divergent planes. Well constructed forehand, slightly sloping pasterns and powerful quarters with well-set hocks. He wasn’t as tidy in front as the winner but nevertheless he moved with power and drive.

Moved with drive and reach, shown in excellent condition and showed his socks off fully deserving the RCC.

1st: 1641 NORTHEY, Mrs Caroline Tito Saggio At Kingsoak Ex Libris (Imp NLD). Repeat. BSB.

Class 817 VD/B (3 Entries) Abs: 1 Two fabulous veterans.

1st: 1653 TOWNS, Miss E Sh Ch Braccorion Carma's Coming. A truly eye-catching 9-year-old who immediately commanded attention on entering the ring. Despite the inevitable softness of maturity, she retains an outstanding head, exemplary breed shape and the best elastic gait, moving with ease and quality throughout. She has clearly passed these qualities on, as evidenced by the fact that my CC winners are her grandchildren. She set the standard for the bitches who came after her and was seriously considered for top honours.

2nd: 1622 CRITCHLEY, Mrs M J Sh Ch Braccorion's Never Say Never JW. A daughter of the winner and every bit as lovely. Of sheer quality, she presents an excellent outline, with well-developed hindquarters and elastic, flowing movement.

Class 818 PB (6 Entries) Abs: 2 A class full of promise for the future.

1st: 1610 BEECHAM, Miss Donna Rydonmist Bringin It Back. A promising young bitch of correct type, showing balance and substance for her age. Head well-proportioned with a slight stop, long, well-set ears and a soft, expressive eye. Neck of moderate length flowing into shoulders of correct lay, chest developing well, and body showing early strength. Hindquarters broad and angulated, with firm hocks and pasterns. Topline level, tail correctly set. Moves freely with reach and drive, showing confidence and typical breed character. In good coat and condition, she shows great promise for the future.

2nd: 1609 BEECHAM, Miss Donna Rydonmist Twistin My Melons. Litter sister and very similar; just a bit leggier at this stage. Moved well.

1st: 1608 ATHERTON, Ms Sue Bracciano Never Again At Brevathos. Of good type and well balanced throughout. Lean and narrow head with a lovely expression. Plenty of forechest and depth of brisket, slight slope to her pasterns. Lovely mover.

2nd: 1630 FROST, Ms Julie & FROST, Ms Ashleigh Amestorah All That Jazz At Bushwacker. A close decision, I just preferred the width of thighs of the winner. She presents a terrific outline and I loved her head.

3rd: 1621 CRITCHLEY, Mrs M J Bracciano Now Or Never JW

Class 821 LB (6 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1658 WEBBER, Mrs Lesley Valcor Killer Queen JW. She carries a typical topline that has the fall and rise without dipping. Very clean over neck and shoulders, plenty of depth and slight tuck up. Strong, tight feet. Distinctive head. Moved well.

2nd: 1654 WAND, Mrs Victoria & WAND, Mr Bryan Braccorion's As If By Magic Into Wanderhund. Doesn’t have the hind mover of the winner and was a tad elbowy but her head is well balanced with the required leanness and length.

3rd: 1656 WARBURTON, Mrs Victoria & WARBURTON, Mr Allan Withamfriary Lush Blossom At Heberhouse

Res: 1612 BEECHAM, Miss Donna Inspirations Lorenza Primavera At Rydonmist (Imp S

Class 822 OB (9 Entries) Abs: 0 This class was a joy to judge. I could have awarded first to any one of the five.

1st: 1652 TOWNS, Miss E Braccorions Piccorino Pick Me. And I did! She is a superb example of the breed, combining elegance, substance and true Bracco type. Of almost square proportions, she presents a beautifully balanced outline with excellent length and depth of rib, flowing into a strong loin. Neck of good length leading into well-laid shoulders, forechest well-developed. Correctly angulated hindquarters with well-set hocks and firm rear pasterns, producing a positive, ground-covering action on the move.

Head of exceptional quality, showing a well-defined median line, slight stop, long well-set ears and a soft, expressive eye. Compact yet strong body, with a classic topline and harmonious proportions throughout. In excellent coat and condition, she moves with power, reach and elegance, covering the ground effortlessly while maintaining balance. Shown to advantage, she embodies breed type in both form and function, fully deserving the CC and Best of Breed.

2nd: 1633 HAMLYN, Miss D & FROST, Ms JK & AR Elettra Dell 'oltresavio Of Amestorah (Imp) It. I found her simply beautiful; her head is exquisite with a slight stop, long well-set ears and such a beseeching look in her dark ochre eyes. She oozes breed type and quality and has an aristocratic and dignified air about her. Very worthy of the RCC.

Class 824 SBB (2 Entries) Abs: 0

1st: 1625 EMPSON, Ms Tricia Bonario Hera. A pretty bitch with fine chiselling under her eyes. Finer frame and a bit bouncy on the move.
