1st Robson’s Glenquin Major at Yohenoak. Black and White, well balanced male. Good head,skull and muzzle of equal proportions, ears set high , good eye colour giving correct expression. Well laid shoulder , correct length of rib and strong back. Powerful hindquarters , moved with drive. Good coat and furnishings.

1st Johnston’s Glenquin The General. Well balanced, powerful looking male. Slightly longer than tall, good bone and substance. Head balanced in proportion to body, correct eye and expression. Strong neck into well laid shoulders with correct length of upper arm. Good length and depth of rib and strong across the loin. Powerful mover from well muscled hindquarters. Pleased to award him Best Dog and RBOB

1st Mc Cullough’s Kimmax Kiss My Blackside at Beechilawn. Lighter framed than my best dog but still balanced. He had a particularly good head and expression. Correct front assembly with well laid shoulder and length of upper arm. Held his topline on the move , moved well. Good coat and furnishings of correct texture Reserve Best Dog

1st Harrie’s Gleomac Daffodils in Bloom. 3 year old Liver and White Bitch. Good front and rear assembly. Would have liked more depth to the muzzle and better facial furnishings /coat to complete the picture.

Veteran Bitch (2,1 absent)

1st Johnston’s Sh Ch Canis Fortuna Harda (imp Pol). 9 year old bitch in superb condition and muscle tone. Correct coat, good head and expression. Balanced angulation front and back. Strong across the loin and good width of second thigh , moving well for her age driving from her hindquarters Best Veteran.

1st Vine and Hassell’s Beanalrem Grapevine. 15 month old bitch , best mover in the class. Good head and expression. Strong bone. Correct angulation front and rear , good width of second thigh and moved well from strong hindquarters.

2nd Stone’s Kenzduo Shasta. Slightly smaller type than 1. Nice head and expression . Correct forequarters but would have liked slightly more drive from the rear. In good coat and condition.

1st Johnston’s Sh Ch Glenquin Athena. Beautifully balanced mature bitch of 6 years old. Good head and expression. Strong neck into well laid shoulders and good length of upper arm. Strong boned with lovely feet and sufficient slope to pasterns. Ribs deep and well sprung. Firm back into powerful hindquarters. Moved out well. Best Bitch and BOB

2nd Geary’s Sh Ch Germanus Stands Out A Mile. 4 year old bitch, smaller stamp of bitch than 1 but equally as well balanced and pushed 1 hard. Lovely feminine head and expression. Another with good front and rear assembly, well muscled. Moved well. In good coat of correct texture Reserve Best Bitch.
