Many thanks to this friendly Society for inviting me to judge BIS, BPIS & BVIS at their annual event in the beautiful venue of Hurworth, we were afforded amazing hospitality and the sun shone all day, a truly lovely day surrounded by the beautiful Border Collie.

Lee/Ratcliffe’s Arrodare No Wonder. A beautifully presented bitch of 4 years who appealed for her easy, effortless movement, exquisite feminine head with a melting expression, sound top-line that she carried well, her excellent front assembly, proportions and well muscled hindquarters combined to show a truly well put together example of this breed.

Lee/Ratcliffe’s Sh Ch. Arrodare True Legend. Another lovely example of this breed at 5 years, masculine head with lovely dark eye and endearing expression, excellent angulation all through with firm top-line that he held standing and moving, his movement was effortless and free, presented in immaculate coat and well muscled condition.

Green/Ratcliffe’s Sh Ch. Arrodare Beautiful Trauma. Young veteran bitch of 7 years, loved her endearing feminine head and expression, correct neck leading into a well set shoulder, she had correct proportions and good depth to her chest, balanced angulation front and rear, she was sound and effortless on the move.

RESERVE BEST VETERAN IN SHOW

Holtappel’s Romanybay Morning Star at Bryning. Blue merle male of 7½ years, masculine head and expression, would prefer a slightly better lay back of shoulder but he had good depth to his chest and was well ribbed back, moved out with a steady gait.

BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW

Morley/Rogerson’s Chikaramor Chyna Roses. Promising young bitch of 5 months who took it all in her stride today, feminine head and kind expression, she was soundly made and stood so well, she moved out with a confident and accurate gait, handled sympathetically.
