1. Musk/Bingham’s Kavalo Tougher Than The Rest. Pleasing young male of 8 months, flat skull, well set ears and eyes, good neck set into a well laid shoulder, level top-line, well sprung rib and good tail carriage, liked his balanced angulation fore and aft, moved out briskly with a free gait, in lovely coat and condition.

2. Moore’s Foxthyme Unbelievable. Another promising young male of just 6½ months taking it all in his stride today, he was confident and positive on the move, masculine head which was well proportioned, dark eye, good body proportions, firm top-line, balanced angles, presented in excellent condition.

1. Webb’s Foveaux Magic Dance. Smart young male of 9 months, lovely expressive and alert eye, well set ears, good forechest, liked his proportions and balanced angulation, well sprung rib, firm top-line, well set and carried tail, in lovely fit and muscled condition, presented in excellent coat. 

2. Pinto-Pearson’s Parabar Pelatory’s Pronto. 7 months, liked his expressive eye but could use his ears a little better, flat skull with moderate stop, well set shoulder and good angles front and rear, desired thumb mark above front feet, could fill out a little more in body and come up slightly on leg, moved out well, in good coat and condition.

2. Bailey/Hancocks’ Parabar Pistachio. Liver male of 11 months, masculine head and expression but ears could be better, good body proportions, moderate neck, good spring of rib, tail could have an improved set and would prefer a little more substance but moved out ok.

Grant-Parkes’ Parabar Posy’s Pawnee JW. 21 months, liked his dark eye and lovely expression, well set ears and balanced head proportions, well laid shoulder set into a pleasing front assembly, firm top-line, he moved out with confidence and a little attitude, good height to length ratio, well set tail and carriage, in excellent coat and condition.

1. Lagonegro’s Lankeela Kristi and Eeyore. 3 years old, masculine head and expression with good eye, enough angulation front and rear, moderate neck, pasterns could be a little stronger, firm top-line, he was a little unbalanced when moving out today but he was presented in lovely coat and condition.

2. Thomas’ Skipest Winter Blues. Well made dog of 2½ years, masculine head with keen, alert expression, balanced angulation front and rear, top-line was firm and level, well sprung rib and good body proportions, in lovely coat and condition, he just wasn’t settled on the move today.

1. Cooper’s Swanndale Water Tylbalt. Smart, well presented male of 2½ years, masculine head and alert expression, well set ears, good shoulder and balanced angulation, firm elbows, pasterns could be a little stronger, well sprung rib, sound top-line, moved out with accuracy, sympathetically handled and presented to bring out his qualities. 

2. Musk/Bingham’s Lankeela Our Marnie. 3 years, masculine head and dark eye, ears well set, moderate neck set into a well laid shoulder, balanced throughout with sound top-line, good tail set and carriage, his tan markings could be better but presented in excellent condition.

1. Felstead’s Ch. Lankeela You Go Boss at Foveaux JW. 3½ years, judged this lovely liver male as a puppy and he has matured into a lovely example of the breed, appealing head and expression with lovely eye and well set ears, balanced angulation front and rear, moderate neck leading into a well set shoulder, lovely body proportions, good bone and feet, well set and carried tail, he was fit and well muscled and moved out with confidence and accuracy, DCC.

2. Thwaite’s Ch. Ribblespride Crakemoor. Another lovely male who I liked very much, expressive eye and well set ears, flat skull and balanced throughout, nothing to dislike with this exhibit, lovely body proportions, good bone and feet, well carried tail and presented in excellent condition, he moved out with a lovely free brisk gait, RDCC.

3. Whiteman’s Ch. Madincrowd Edred.

1. Fairest’s Ch. Henson Fairest Lad. Very masculine dog of 9½ years with an alert expression and dark well shaped eye, well set ears, he was strongly made throughout but he was balanced with good proportions, good spring of rib and firm top-line, well muscled in rear with well set and carried tail, moved out well with confident gait, in good coat and condition.

2. Dawes’ Leyeside Mister Wilds at Daweslean. Another lovely dog, masculine head with keen expression although found his eye a little round, well set ears, good forechest and depth of brisket, nicely proportioned, balanced angles, he moved out with a brisk stride.

1. Grant-Parkes’ Parabar Pelatory’s Pichu. Confident young bitch of 6½ months, most feminine head with dark eye and lovely cheeky expression, well set ears, moderate neck leading into a pleasing front assembly, she was balanced throughout with a firm level top-line, good spring of rib and lovey body proportions, liked her rich tan markings, she moved out briskly with confidence.

2. Cutler’s Lankeela Fly Me To The Moon. Another lovely puppy of just 6 months, beautiful feminine head with dark eye and appealing expression, moderate neck and well set shoulder, correct body proportions and firm level top-line, she had a lovely tail set and carriage, rich tan markings and that desired thumb mark above front feet, moved out so well, less mature than 1.

1. Grant-Parkes’ Parabar Pelatory’s Pichu. Repeat.

2. Bellinger’s Foveaux Jean Genie at Heelstone. Lovely feminine bitch of 9 months, dark expressive eye, well set ears, moderate neck and well placed shoulder, pleasing body proportions, would like her tan markings to be a little richer but she was confident and brisk on the move and presented in good coat and condition.

1. Thwaite’s Ribblespride Masquerade. Really liked this young bitch, lovely expressive head, dark eye, well set ears, liked her body proportions, moderate neck and well set shoulder, good spring of rib, well set and carried tail, she moved out beautifully and was presented in excellent condition.

2. Hogg’s Clogmills Charlotte Russe at Halepool. Finer all through and not the substance of 1 but she had a pretty feminine head and expression, moderate neck and well set shoulder, firm top-line, moved out ok but lacked overall condition today.

1. Jones’ Barleydust Fancy Foxtrot. My star find of the day! This 18 month old bitch caught my eye although she stood alone in her class, meant I could really concentrate on her obvious qualities, most feminine balanced head with dark expressive eye, well set ears, skull and muzzle parallel, correctly set ears, well laid shoulder into an excellent front assembly, she was balanced throughout and looked a picture both standing and moving, she carried a firm top-line and was well muscled throughout, her movement was brisk and accurate, she had an endearing ‘air of attitude’, her tail never stopped wagging the entire time, I was delighted to award her the BCC which I believe was her crown, following it up with BOB, absolutely thrilled to hear she went G2 later in the day, what a lovely day for her owner, congratulations.

Budd’s Tudorbrook Hocus Pocus. 3½ years, feminine head and expression, lovely dark eye, she was alert and attentive, nice body proportions and good angulation front and rear, firm top-line and well muscled rear, she moved out well with a brisk gait, shown in good condition but undercoat showing through, handled to advantage.

Nicely presented bitch of 4½ years, good skull, dark eye and well set ears, moderate neck into a well set shoulder, balanced angulation throughout with good body proportions, well set tail and carriage, presented in excellent coat and condition, moved out freely with a brisk gait.   

2. Jones’ Mahogany Dawn of Barleydust. Another pleasing bitch of nice type, nearly 5 years and now see is the dam of my BOB, feminine head with a lovely expression although eyes could be a shade darker, moderate neck and balanced angulation throughout, firm top-line and well muscled rear, moved well once she was settled into her stride, another presented in good condition.

1. Felstead’s Ch. Foveaux Queens Gambit JW. Really lovely bitch of 2½ years, balanced throughout with a lovely feminine head and endearing expression with melting dark eye, ticked all the boxes for breed and what a lovely example she is, lovely proportions, excellent angulation front and rear, sound in top-line, she was well muscled and fit, excellent tail set and carriage, she moved with a brisk stride full of confidence and attitude, liked her very much, RBCC.

2. Hogg’s Ir Ch. Uncle Tom’s Little Eva De L’etang De Pincemaille at Halepool. 21 months, feminine head and expression with well set ears, moderate neck and balanced angles throughout, a little shy on examination but soon settled, well placed shoulder and good body proportions, moved out well enough, presented in good coat and well muscled condition.

1. Thwaite’s Ch. Ribblespride Ladytron. BV. Nicely put together veteran 7½ years, lovely feminine head and expression, moderate neck and well set shoulder, well sprung rib with level, firm top-line, good bone and feet, nicely muscled rear and balanced throughout, she moved out with a brisk free gait, presented in excellent coat and condition, BV.  

2. Whiteman’s Ch. Madincrowd Bathsheba JW. Another lovely bitch of an amazing 11½ years, she was totally sound and balanced on the move, lovely feminine expressive head with an endearing expression, carrying just a little too much weight today but she was a delight to judge with an exceptional temperament, a credit to her owner.
