Breed: German Shepherd Dog
VD 2(1) 1. Kearnan/Wilson’s Ir/Nld/Be/Lux/Hr/Ch/Int Ch. Clynalwin’s Nukon. Well muscled masculine dog of 9 years in lovely condition, strong but proportionate head, good width in skull, good eye and ear set, good depth of chest, well ribbed and of correct shape, strong neck and shoulders, good bone but would like better feet and pasterns, today he wasn’t moving as well as his construction would suggest, presented in good coat and condition. JD 2(1) 1. Brown’s Windgunn’s Zorro at Darveldown. Well presented young dog of 17 months, liked his outline and confidence, masculine head with good eye and lovely expression, well set ears, good length of neck and well set shoulders, sound in top-line which was firm and well muscled, good forechest, easy free gait covering the ground well, to be critical would like a shade more of him but a lovely young dog with a promising future. ND 1(0) 1. Pinkard’s Limasmythe Loki. 4 years old and was told this was his first show, he certainly took it all in his stride, masculine head and strong muzzle, ears could be better set and eye could be darker, good feet and bone, alert steady temperament, strong neck and shoulders, proportions could be a little better but he moved out soundly with confidence, in good coat and condition. PGD 2(0) 1. Chapman’s Konatian Baggy Trousers. 2½ years old, masculine head and expression although would prefer more strength in skull and ears could be better, good depth of chest, feet and bone, angulation ok all through, firm top-line, well muscled throughout, moved steadily and presented in good coat and condition. 2. Price’s Marlish Jupiter. 3 years old, preferred the head on this dog, good width of skull, balanced with strong muzzle, strong neck and shoulders, good forechest and depth, well ribbed with nice proportions, firm loin, showed some acceptable profile movement but loose and untidy going away in the rear. OD 5(1) 1. Vorrias’ Ch. Windgunn’s Firestarter. 3 years old, I liked him for soundness, balance and masculinity, lovely strong head and expression with a kind expressive eye, well set ears, strong muzzle, excellent length of neck leading into a sound front assembly, ideal body proportions, good depth of chest and correct ribbing, firm loin, well muscled powerful rear which showed in his free easy gait, presented in beautiful condition and was pleased to award him DCC & BOB. 2. Stephens’ Ch. Chalksville Made of Magic for Brightmeadow JW. Another balanced male of just 2 years where similar remarks apply, lovely masculine head and expression, kind eye, correct length of neck into a well set shoulder, he had depth to his chest with good ribbing, good feet and bone, firm top-line and well muscled rear, he was free and easy on the move and presented beautifully, RDCC. 3. Hensley’s Ch. Desjiem Van De Herdersfarm (imp DEU). SpB 3(1) 1. Chapman’s Konatian Baggy Trousers. Repeat. BSpB. 2. Cave’s Ballynabola Ria at Casiann. 7 years old, feminine expressive head with kind eye, strong neck and shoulders, she presented a lovely picture in profile but stood a little narrow in her front, good body proportions, she had a good depth of chest and was well ribbed, lacked animation on the move today, presented in good coat and condition. VB 2(0) 1. Stephens’ Ch. Brightmeadow Rags to Riches. 7½ years old, a lovely bitch to go over when she got her act together, feminine expressive head, dark eye, well set ears, teeth could be cleaner, excellent shoulder and front assembly with good depth of chest, liked her angulation throughout, she had good body proportions and was well muscled and fit, free and easy gait, BV & VG4. 2. Cave’s Ballynabola Ria at Casiann. Repeat. PB 1(0) 1. Landgren’s Yakasimba Bubbles. 11½ months, feminine head and expression with dark eye and good ears, good bone and feet, good depth to her chest and well ribbed, she moved out steadily but she needs to body up and improve in her condition, BP. JB 2(0) 1. Milham’s Droyales One and Only at Shaddowshack. Lovely balanced bitch of just 16 months, expressive kind eye, well set ears, good width to her skull without being coarse, strong muzzle, excellent neck and shoulders, correct bone and feet, good forechest, excellent proportions, sound firm top-line, excellent reach and drive on the move covering the ground well, lots of promise for the future, RBCC. 2. Morphet’s Monksley Reyna. Withdrew due to lameness in the rear. NB 2(0) 1. Carpenter’s Marlish Jamirah. 3 years old, would prefer a more feminine head but she had good ears and an expressive dark eye, good depth of chest with good feet and bone, good proportions but would like a better top-line, lovely long bushy tail, when settled she moved out with soundness, presented in lovely fit condition. 2. Brown’s Abidejack Siggy at Darveldown. 3 years old, feminine head which lacked strength, well set ears, her angulation was ok throughout, firm and sound in top-line, she showed some promising profile movement but was untidy on the out and back, well muscled but out of coat today. PGB 1(0) 1. Kew’s Nestview Terra. Well presented bitch of nearly 3 years, nice outline when she settled, very feminine in head with expressive eye, well set ears and good width to her skull, strong neck and well set shoulder, good proportions, she showed some free, easy movement when she settled but was a real handful today, in excellent coat and well muscled condition. LB 4(1) 1. Prothero’s Marlish Indiana. 4 years old and presented in lovely condition, feminine head and expression with good eye, well set ears, good depth of chest and well ribbed back, she moved out well with a steady, easy gait. 2. Hensley/Price’s Lornstone Pandita at Zuberg. 2 years old and another with a feminine expressive head, good ears, good length of neck and decent shoulder, good body proportions, when settled she showed some sound profile movement. 3. Cave’s Casiann Ate ShCEx. OB 5(2) 1. Kenmare’s Windgunn’s Rio Grande. 4½ years old and was handled to bring out her very best qualities, beautiful feminine head with the kindest expression, good width of skull, lovely depth and shape of rib, sound in top-line and beautifully angulated throughout, there was nothing to dislike, she was fit and well muscled and moved with an easy ground covering stride, an easy choice for BCC today which I believe rewarded her with her Champion title, many congratulations. 2. Vorrias’ Windgunn’s Rizzini. 4½ years old and now see is the litter sister to my BCC winner, another with a lovely feminine expressive head and dark eye, good forechest and depth, correct bone and feet, excellent proportions throughout coupled with good angles, just not quite the accuracy of 1 on the move today but beautifully presented and handled. 3. Appleby’s Copybush Wednesday. CATH MOFFAT
