Bracco Italiano- Bath Championship Show 2025

Class 1684 – Puppy Dog

1st – Callaiscroft Je Ne Sais Quoi (Miss E J Longman)

Masculine puppy with a good head and correct planes. Presented a lovely outline when settled, showing good bone and balance for his age. Moved well, displaying a typical extended gait with promise for the future.

2nd – Callaiscroft Fait Accompli at Brevathos (Ms S E Atherton)

Slightly larger puppy with a good head and ample divergence. Balanced in outline and moved well, showing soundness and steadiness. Just lacked the overall presence of the winner today.

Class – Junior Dog

1st – Silvestre The Flash Around Kuantan (Mrs T & Mr T Allison & Wheeler)

Presents a breed typical outline when settled and really came alive on the move. He has a pleasing head with correct planes, good bone and balance. Moved well, showing positive ring presence. Well handled.

2nd – Bracciano Never Walk Alone with Piccorino (J Rose)

Slightly larger cast dog with a good head and correct planes. Balanced in outline and moved well. A quality youngster who pushed the winner but just lacked his overall animation today.

Class – Post Graduate Dog

1st – Braccorion’s All or Nothing (Miss C Szulzycka)

Lovely young male with a lot to offer. Presents good outline when stacked. He has a good head with correct divergence and is well balanced throughout. Moved well, showing typical movement and purpose. Well handled.

Class – Limit Dog

1st – Braccorions Xclusively for Piccorino (J Rose)

A dog I have admired from the ringside. Classic Bracco outline with an almost square appearance. Noble head with correct planes, good upper arm and muscular condition. Well made throughout and moved with a lovely, extended trot, showing strength and balance. Contender for the top awards. Just became a little unsettled in the challenge.

2nd – Teverlarni Keep The Faith (Mrs C Bond)

Another quality dog with a good outline and balance. Muscular and well conditioned, he moved well but lacked the reach and drive of the winner on the day.

Class – Open Dog

1st – Piccorino Pheasant Plucker (J Rose)

A stallion dog who presents a typical Bracco outline. Excellent head in profile with correct planes, lean and ample divergence. Balanced throughout, he shows good angles fore and aft with an excellent upper arm and sufficient angulation behind. Well bodied with excellent bone, muscular and well conditioned. When settled, he really came alive on the move, showing a typical, well-extended trot with exceptional side gait. A dog of quality and presence, moved with confidence and purpose, making him a worthy CC winner and Best of Breed. Still only young. I feel the best is yet to come with this dog.

2nd – Fr Ch Silvio Du Clos Des Petites Vignes (Mr P Badia)

A classic dog presenting a lovely, almost square outline. He has a good head with correct planes and good divergence. Well bodied and balanced, showing excellent angles fore and aft. He moved very well, displaying a typical gait and was well handled throughout. Pushed the winner hard today but had to settle for the RCC.

Class – Puppy Bitch

1st – Teverlarni Lucky Star (Miss S & Ms L Smith)

Lovely type with an excellent head and good divergence. Balanced outline with good angles fore and aft. Moved with a typical gait and was well handled, showing confidence for her age.

Class – Junior Bitch

1st – Bracciano Now or Never JW (Mrs M Critchley)

Good head with correct planes and a lovely outline. Well balanced with good angles and maturity for her age. Moved well despite distractions, showing soundness and composure.

2nd – Braccorion’s Corrr Blimey (Mrs A Worgan)

Gave her handler a hard time initially, but once settled showed a lovely, typical outline. Good forehand and body, and when relaxed she moved out well with typical movement.

Class – Post Graduate Bitch

1st – Piccorino Per Piacere to Juhua (Miss R L Steel)

Pretty headed bitch. Presented a lovely, typical outline with good forehand and body. Once settled, she moved out well and showed typical movement, holding herself confidently.

2nd – Bettina (Imp Ita) (Mr L & Mrs T Fisher)

Winner of Special Beginners earlier. A sound bitch who moved well but did not quite match the balance and presence of the winner today.

Class – Limit Bitch

1st – Braccorions Class Act TAF (Miss E Towns)

Lovely bitch of good size and condition. Typical, almost square outline with a feminine head and correct planes. Moved well with a typical extended trot, showing promise. Although in an older class she was a puppy but didnt look out of place with the older girls. BP.

Class 1695 – Open Bitch

1st – 3818 Sh Ch Braccorion’s Va Va Voom JW (Miss L J Coghlan)

A bitch I have always admired for her beautiful breed type and balance. She did not disappoint today. Classy head and good planes, showing lean, correct divergence. She presents a lovely outline with a correct, almost square appearance. Lovely body and bone. Well balanced, she strode out well in profile, showing excellent movement and ring presence. Well made throughout and very typical of the breed. It was a pleasure to award her the Bitch CC.

2nd – Teverlarni Secret Dreams (Miss S & Ms L Smith)

A well-balanced bitch with a lovely feminine head and excellent bone. Another quality chestnut, she shows good tail carriage and moved very well with a typical, extended trot. Sound and steady, she was close up to the CC winner.
