I would like to thank the committee for the invitation and the exhibitors who entered and attended, it was a super entry. My thanks also to my super steward John who kept me on the straight and narrow. This was my first-time awarding CC’s in the breed. I really enjoyed my day, and I had some lovely top-class dogs to judge on the day.

My DCC winner was Ch/int/multi Ch Bushwacker Oceans Eleven (Mrs A & Mr N Carrington) with the RDCC going to the second in open, another very smart boy in Ch/Nl Ch Mawali Going Four Gold (Mr Gj & Mr N Williams & Wright). My Bitch CC and BOB was the top flight bitch Ch Tokaji Moon over Miami with Mutoko JW ShCEx OSW (Mrs P Nash) and my RBCC went to the second in open Ch/Nld Ch Mawali Four Get Me Not (Mrs S Dunsdon). My Best Veteran was Aksaifleet Russki Rose (Mrs T Holloway).

1st Ch/int/multi Ch Bushwacker Oceans Eleven (Mrs A & Mr N Carrington)

A very smart dog who commands attention, he has a good outline and with correct proportions. Head is masculine with good finish, well chiselled with a good eye, ears set on correctly. Super neck and a good front on him, shoulders well laid back, good forearm, he stands on fine boned legs and good feet. Short level back, ribs well sprung, short coupled. Quarters have good angulation, well developed with moderately bent stifles. Moved out well, legs carried straight with a swinging stride. Held his shape well on the move to give him the advantage over the second placed dog. A quality dog who was on point today and took the top spot. Pleased to award him the DCC.

2nd Ch/Nl Ch Mawali Going Four Gold (Mr Gj & Mr N Williams & Wright)

This chap ran the winner very close, and I wasn’t surprised to see he has his title already. His head piece is masculine, good wrinkle and dark almond shaped eyes. Good length of neck and arch. Forearms straight and parallel with correct front. Deep brisket into tucked elbows. He maintained a level topline throughout, covering the ground with ease with his long swinging stride. Strong hindquarters with moderate angulations. Tail set well and tightly curled. Shown in excellent condition My RCC winner.

3rd Ch Swanwite Take a Chance on Me ShCEx (Mrs I Legget)

Veteran Bitch - Entries: 2 Absentees: 0

1st Aksaifleet Russki Rose (Mrs T Holloway)

A grand lady who belies her age, her head is of good shape and proportions, pleasing eye and fine ears. Good through the neck in to well placed shoulders, stands on good legs and feet. Well ribbed up and level topline. Good quarters on her, stifles moderately bent. Moved out well especially in profile. My Best Veteran.

2nd Flugelberry Fizz Princess (Miss E E Matthews)

A nice type of brindle girl. Eight years old I liked her head shape enhanced by a pleasing eye and well-set ears. Good front assembly on her, stands on good legs. Good through the ribs, a tad longer in loin, a shade to much covering today. Quarters well developed. Held her topline well. Good on the move in profile but a shade untidy on the up and down today.

Junior Bitch - Entries: 1 Absentees: 0

1st Aksaifleet Daydream Diana (Mrs T Holloway)

A young elegant bitch of 14 months who is still developing, her head is feminine and has good proportions with a kind dark eye which enhances her expression, ears well set on. Good neck into shoulders, body proportions well made, ribs need to spring a little, but she should do that as she matures. Needs to settle a little bit on the move but that is just about practice.

Post Graduate Bitch - Entries: 2 Absentees: 0

1st Woodella Caledonia (Miss C & Mr T & Mr F Donaldson & Rabbitte & Van-Dal)

Clean outline on this two-year-old lady. She is a good overall size. Her head is pleasing, well chiselled and has a good shape and wrinkle, good dark almond eye and well set on ears. Clean neck into shoulders which are well set. Stands on good legs and feet, would like a little more depth of brisket and spring of rib but she should do that as she matures. Quarters well made, good shelf, tail set on well, stifles moderately bent. Moved well with a good side gait, handled to advantage.

2nd Place Aksaifleet Dada Dunia of Torqmonky (Mrs M & Mr J English)

This lady wasn’t as together and did not have the shape of the winner. Her head is pleasing with a good shape. Neck into shoulder is good and body of good proportions, I would like a little more lay back of shoulder. Good in body, a tad longer in loin. Quarters are developing nicely. Needs to settle on the move but from what I could see she had decent footfall.

Limit Bitch - Entries: 1 Absentees: 0

1st Tokaji Memphis Belle (Mrs D & Mrs P Hardy & Hallam)

Very striking outline on this two-year-old red bitch. Her head is pleasing, well chiselled and has a good shape, good wrinkle and well set on ears. Super neck into shoulders which are well set. Stands on good legs and feet, would like a little more depth of brisket and spring of rib but she should do that as she matures. Quarters well made, tail set on well, stifles moderately bent. One I liked a lot, she has a good side gait but wasn’t as together on the up and down as the principal winners which cost her in the challenge. With a bit of maturity, she will be a worthy champion in my opinion.

Open Bitch - Entries: 5 Absentees: 0

This was another super class, and the first three could have changed places on a different day, all were top class.

1st Ch Tokaji Moon over Miami with Mutoko JW ShCEx OSW (Mrs P Nash)

One I have judged before and still like a lot. This six year old bitch that has quality stamped through the middle of her; she was everything I was looking for today. Square in shape with a classic feminine head piece enhanced by a lovely eye, good wrinkle and ears set on correctly. Super neck on her in to well set shoulders, well laid with a good return of forearm. Body well developed, firm in topline, well sprung ribs and firm loin. Quarters well developed; stifles moderately bent. Well set tail and good skin. Moved out well with a good swinging stride, super font action and side profile which gave her Bitch CC and later Best of Breed. Thank you for bringing her again.

2nd Ch/Nld Ch Mawali Four Get Me Not (Mrs S Dunsdon)

Another showgirl on top form, I liked her overall shape and proportions. Her head is feminine with a pleasing expression, good wrinkle and well set ears. Good arched neck into a decent shoulder placement, straight front. Stands on good legs and feet. Body of balanced proportions, ribs well sprung, loin short coupled and well-made quarters. Good on the move, especially in profile, holds her shape well, not quite as tidy as the winner in front action, so today had to settle for RBCC.

3rd Ch Akmar Napatan Gold for Westlawn JW (Miss A A Clinton)
