I would like to thank the committee for the invitation and the exhibitors who entered and attended, it was a super entry. My thanks also to my two super stewards who kept me on the straight and narrow. This was my first-time awarding CC’s in the breed. I really enjoyed my day, and I had some lovely top-class dogs to judge on the day.
To make some general observations there were a few suspect mouths, some with small teeth, please be aware of these things as you breed on. I was disappointed at the lack of young males in the entry, I do wonder where the next generation of stud dogs will come from.
My Dog CC and BEST OF BREED was the 14-month-old Zarcrest After Blend, who won the junior class, in my humble opinion he is a star in the making. My Res Dog CC was the winner of open Sabisabi Iroquois Eyota. My Bitch CC winner was the topflight Sh Ch Nasailleen Ella Vaday, and my Res Bitch CC and Best Puppy was the very exciting puppy Afterglow Dominique. Best Special Beginner, another youngster, was Jurgapearls Arabella.

Lovely baby, he has a classic head piece, good shape and dark eye giving a pleasing expression. Good through the neck, shoulders well set and stands on good legs and compact feet. Good depth of chest for his age, ribs well back, just a tad long in loin. Good well angulated quarters. Needs to find his feet on the move, which he will do as he matures.

This young man scored in movement over the second placed dog, head is well proportioned with good finish, large expressive eyes and good nose, decent chiselling around the eye area and scored in top skull but the expression is correct. I wouldn’t want his head any stronger. Clean reach of neck, scored in front assembly, decent lay back of shoulder, good depth of chest for his age, stands on well-rounded feet. Ribs good for his age, needs to firm up in loin which is a tad long. Well angulated quarters, in amazing condition, move out well in profile, needs to settle on the up and down which he will do as he gets his head together. Best Puppy Dog
2nd: MARSH, Mrs Madeline Little Life Bright Power Flow (Imp Fin)
Smart buff, very different to the winner in stye but a lot to like about him. I liked his head piece, which is well defined, super masculine expression, enhanced by a lively dark eye, ears set on correctly. Clean reach of neck, personally I would like a shade more lay back of shoulder. Good depth of chest for his age and stands on good legs and rounded feet. Well-made in body with ribs well sprung, topline good. Well angulated rear. On the move today he didn’t quite cover the ground in the way of the winner and was untidy as he came towards me which ultimately cost him the class, close decision. Two excellent puppies; I think these two will change places many times in the future.

Just 14 months old, but he stood out in this entry, presents a striking outline on the stack and he just came alive on the move. His head is masculine with a rounded skull, eyes well shaped giving an appealing expression. Super through the neck, which is muscular and arched, led in to well laid shoulders, stands on straight legs and compact feet. Good depth of chest, ribs well sprung, back strong and slight slope to topline. Once he settled and got into his stride, he covered the ground so well. My pleasure to award him the CC and later BOB, congratulations, please to see him shortlisted in the group.

Good type of dog with a pleasing outline, good headpiece on him with a masculine expression. Good neck into shoulders, scored in front angulation, stands on good legs and compact feet. Well-made in body with a decent spring of rib, short coupled. Well-made quarters with good angulation. Scored in movement over the second. I would just like a little more of him all through to complete the picture.
2nd: NIESSEN, Mrs Ann Little Life Zimply Champagne (imp Fin)
Young buff dog and another of pleasing type. Good head piece, good length of muzzle, defined stop and a good eye shape. Well-made through the body with a good outline on the stack, not quite the front of the winner, needs to tighten in elbow. Good through the ribs, a shade long in loin. Well-made quarters, stifles well angulated. Moved well with drive, not quite the footfall of the winner. Beautifully presented.

A very smart boy just 21 months, who I really liked, his head is well defined, plush, eyes well set giving a masculine expression. Shoulders are well laid; he is well made in body with depth to chest and well sprung ribs. He presents with a naturally sloping topline, is short coupled in body and has well-made quarters. Moved out well, scored in footfall. Presented in immaculate condition. He was close up for the RCC just not quite the finish that the principal winners had, I am sure he will title with ease.
2nd: MANSER, Mrs Amy & NELSON, Mrs Lisa Nujax Happy Halloween
Smart dog with a lot to like about him, presents a good outline on the stack. He has a lovely balanced head, kind expression. Well-made front, clean through the neck and shoulders well laid, stands on good legs and feet. Body developing well but he needs to fill his frame and spring in rib to complete the picture, which he will do as he matures. Holds his topline well. Quarters are well made with good angulation. Has plenty of drive, not quite as tidy on the move as the winner today.

This class was a bit of a conundrum, two very different types of dogs, both scoring on different aspects.
1st: KIRTON, Mrs Denise & STANTON, Mr M & DACKOMBE, Ms Sabisabi Iroquois Eyota
This three years old red and white boy has a super outline on the stack, his head is pleasing with good finish, masculine in expression enhanced by a good dark eye. Stands on good straight legs and rounded feet. Well made in body, ribs well sprung, a tad long in loin. Excellent quarters which are well angulated. Held his shape and correct topline throughout. Scored in profile movement, good accurate footfall. In super coat and condition. In the challenge he upped his game and out moved the limit dog to take the RCC.
2nd: FRYER, Mrs Carole Sh Ch Fonesse Dirty Dancing at Carolco
This dog was fantastic to go over, he was in the best of conditions and fabulously presented. He has a super headpiece, masculine with plenty of plushness, rounded skull and a super eye to enhance his expression. Clean through the neck in to well laid shoulders, stands on straight legs and rounded feet. Super in body, ribs well sprung, slightly longer through the loin. Well angulated quarters. Fluid on the move, he was winning the class until the final move when he just lost his mojo and threw in the towel, and the winner lifted his game; it cost him.

Wow what an exciting discovery this young lady was, only eight months but everything in the right place and so together on the move. She had the most beautiful outline on the stack, she has a super head piece. well balanced enhanced by a super eye shape to give a feminine expression. Good through the neck into well-placed shoulders. Good through the body and well angulated quarters. Was a bit puppyish on the move initially but once her handler got her into her stride, she has super footfall. I am not fond of giving youngsters top awards, but this lady just took my breath away and I just could not deny her the RCC and Best Puppy. I will certainly be following her career with interest.
2nd: LINTON, Mrs D E Afterglow Dominicae
Litter sister to the winner and another very typy bitch. As with her sister she has a feminine head and expression, decent front assembly, shoulders well laid back and stands on good legs and feet. Body developing nicely, not quite as forward as her sister in that respect, moved out well to take this place in a lovely class. Should have a bright future ahead of her.

Another exciting youngster who I liked a lot. She presented a smart eye-catching outline. Pretty head, well proportioned, expressive eyes, breadth of muzzle and rounded skull. Long, clean reach of neck in to well set shoulders. Firm in topline, gently sloping towards her quarters. For her age she has good depth of chest and is well ribbed up. Good angulation. Coat is in excellent condition. Very unsettled on the move initially, but when she got it right, I could see a smooth action. I am sure will have a bright future ahead of her.
2nd: FRANKLIN, Mr B Dreamcast Elysium
This was another smart puppy who made the decision between the first two very hard. She has a very pretty head piece, enhanced by super eye shape, giving a feminine expression, would like a shade more depth of muzzle. Good neck in to well set shoulders, stands on good legs and super compact feet. Ribs good, enough depth of chest for her age, held her topline well on the stack but a little soft on the move today. Scored in movement with a typical action, very close decision with the winner.

I liked this lady, especially on the move where she has that smooth effortless gait that I was looking for. She has a feminine head and expression, enhanced by a lovely dark eye. Decent front assembly. Well-made in body, has depth in chest, stand on good legs and feet. A good spring of rib, a shade long in loin and well angulated quarters. Won the class on movement, lost her shape a bit on the stack in the challenge or would have pushed the principal winners.
2nd: BOYLE, Miss Z Zarcrest After Clip
Well-presented bitch, not quite the head piece of the winner, would have liked a shade more depth of muzzle, lovely dark eye and very feminine. Good neck into shoulders, needs to fill into her front which she will do as she matures. Ribs springing nicely, a tad long in loin. Needs to firm up in back end a bit. Moved fast but not quite as coordinated as the winner today.

1st: Kenoula Riff Raff
Black girl, pleasing head, kind expression enhanced by a dark eye. Would like a tad more lay back of shoulder and depth of chest. Stands on good legs and feet. Good through the ribs and loin, well-made hindquarters. Scored in movement to take the class.
2nd: Cutiepooch Born to Tri Americlass
Presented a good picture on the stack, head a shade heavy for my tastes. Ok through the neck, I would like her shoulder slightly further back, Standing on good legs and feet. Good through the ribs, a tad long in loin. Would like a shade more rear angulation. In fabulous coat and condition. Moved well in profile, a bit untidy as she came towards me.

Loved this girl, thought she stood out in the bitch classes. She has a lovely balanced head, rounded skull, dark eyes of good shape which gave her a lovely feminine expression. Clean neck into well laid shoulders, stands on good legs and rounded feet. Has depth to chest, well sprung ribs, firm in loin and holds her topline well. Super rear angulation which she used to advantage on the move, correct footfall, covering the ground with ease. My pleasure to award her the BCC.
2nd: MORRIS, Mrs B & JEFFERSON, Mrs R Mycalleys Koko JW
One I have judged before and did well under me, I loved her for type. She has a super head piece on her, it is balanced, round in skull, lovely eye giving a feminine expression. Long well arched neck in to well laid shoulders, which gave a super front assembly. Well-made in body, ribs well sprung, strong in topline which was gently sloping. Strong hindquarters on her with good angulation. Today she was a bit flat on the move and lacked drive of the winner, that also counted against her in the run of in the challenge.

This young lady is still a puppy, but she was giving it all today, I like her head piece, well balanced with a good shape and a good eye to give a pretty expression. Good through the neck into a decent front assembly, stands on good legs and compact feet. Decent topline, a tad long in loin. Good quarters, well angulated quarters. Scored in movement with a good typical action. Best Special Beginners.
2nd: GLOVER, Mr & Mrs Michael and Carol Yankeetank Princess Ida at Mickcals
Another puppy of good overall type, very unsettled on the move in the puppy class on the move but much more controlled in this class. Head pleasing with good finish. Good make and shape through the body.
