I had very enjoyable afternoon at the Bichon Show, many thanks to my stewards for their efficiency and the society for inviting me. The atmosphere and sportsmanship around the ring made it such an enjoyable day.Thank you!

1.Beaters’ Yngles Jaro van de Dyksteinhoeve of Starforth (imp. Bel.)

A nice one to start with! This young man was in immaculate white coat of good texture with very nice outline. Excellent head with dark expressive eyes framed with lovely dark halos, good bite. Good body proportion, nicely arched neck running into well laid shoulders, good topline and strong hindquarters. Very positive on the move with lovely attitude and correct tail carriage, just lost out a little in maturity in Best puppy competition.

Maybe not in immaculate coat with a bit of staining around his eyes but overall he is a very good type and shape. Very nice head and long arched neck, good body and tail set, good be better in front movement and maybe have a little better carriage but overall his outline was good.

3. Wilson’s Alizo Everyone is Mad Here

1. Aspinall’s Lanipsa Starburst

Delightful 6 months old so full of character, she certainly brought a smile to my face.. Very feminine head with dark round eyes full of expression. Good mouth , well arched neck, still needs time to come up on her front legs a bit more to improve her overall balance. Good body proportions, ribcage and tail set, moved with great enthusiasm . Lovely to see owner and dog having so much fun.

Such an eye catcher who oozes personality and is presented in immaculate white coat. delightful head with dark expressive eyes set off with well pigmented halos. 3. Johnstone’s Quissmar Power Lightning Avec Melpink

Novice Bitch. (.1 )(. )

1. Mincone’s Deizi Leader of the Pack

Feminine bitch of nice size and balance. Well balanced head with dark expressive eyes and good mouth, would prefer less staining under the eyes but I know it’s not easy. A little wide in front, and could have more reach of neck, good body, topline and tail set, moved steadily with nice attitude.

1. Pike and Carter’s Wattlemaede Mazikeen at Cartike

Well presented feminine bitch of nice size . Well balanced head with dark eyes set off by well pigmented halos. Good reach of neck running into running into well laid shoulders, great height to length proportions, great body and topline, correct tail set which she carries well on the move. Although shown by a different handler in the challenge she was undeterred and put her very best foot forward, making the absolute best of herself. In the best in show challenge it was a tight decision with the male, but I just loved her pigmentation and expression so the final nod went to her.
