Championship Show 21/09/2025

It was a real pleasure to judge at the MNCFBC Championship show 2025.

Thank you to members who voted for me to judge this show. Thank you to exhibitors for your entries and presenting your dogs to me.

I think the breed is going in a better direction. This is thanks to the determined efforts of breeders focusing on improving health. They are setting a great example for others to follow, by showing how glorious a healthy French Bulldog can be.

Both open classes were filled with Champions. This was a great pleasure for me and I hope exhibitors appreciated seeing them in the ring too.

I think there are more quality dogs presented at shows. In this entry I found several exciting prospects especially in the younger bitch classes.

Temperaments were excellent today. Wide nostrils were the norm. I did find some coarse thick coats. A few with poor ear placement, and several with almond shaped eyes rather than the required round eye. Tail set being too high was an issue in some dogs and very few developed tails in the overall entry.
