Thank you so much to the committee for the invitation to judge at this Celebration of 100 years with the Royal Kennel Club show, what an honour. Thank you for the exhibitors for the fabulous entry and support, I had some great classes of quality bitches to go over. Thank you to my co-judge Mrs R Phillips for our friendly joint discussions and to our referee Mrs S Wiles for her decision. Many thanks again to Barbara and Diane (Stewards) for keeping me going through the day.

Class 20. Baby Puppy Bitch- Entries: 3 Absentees: 1

1st Place: Crosscroyde Celtic Emerald for Linenvale (Mr McDonald)

Yellow, what a super little baby, 4 months old on the day, lovely head and eye colour. Moved so well. All the best for the future.

2nd Place: Salvator’s Hot Summer Rossacre (Mrs V Findjan)

Black, nice puppy, lovely head and neck leading to level topline and tail set, couldn't assess movement today as she wanted to play

Class 21. Minor Puppy Bitch - Entries: 11 Absentees: 2

1st Place: Seatallan Ebony (Miss K Powell)

Black, what a lovely puppy, clean outline, good feminine head, length of neck leading to well placed shoulders. Good depth of brisket, level topline and good stifle and second thigh, moved very well. BP

2nd Place: Rocheby Hebe (Mrs D M Hopkinson)

Yellow, what a sweetie, loved her head and expression, short coupled with good angulations and topline, moved well. I am sure they will change places often.

3rd: Eastdew Sky Full of Stars over Eminala (Mr C & Miss E McKee & Evans)

Class 22. Puppy Bitch - Entries: 5 Absentees: 2

1st Place: Tissalian Juliette (Mrs C Bailiss)

Yellow, lovely head and expression, balanced with a level topline and correct tail set, she had lovely angles front and rear, moved well but just didn't give her all for BP.

2nd Place: Brupurhat Star in Sight (Mr B J Brackner)

Yellow, bigger and stronger in head than first, short-coupled body, good spring of rib but not too deep, level topline and tail set. Just preferred the head of first. Lovely mover.

3rd: Alltamhuilin Dalwhinnie (Mrs P & Mr M Sweeney)

Class 23. Junior Bitch - Entries: 13 Absentees: 1

1st Place: Foxrush Hope So JW (Mrs J Charlton)

What a class this was, this yellow had a lovely head and eye shape, her neck flows into a level topline and good otter tail, nice spring of rib with good depth of body and correct rear angles, moved with drive. Not overdone in any way, moved well.

2nd Place: Manorwell Mustang Sally (ai) (Mrs E Grummitt)

Black, she had the kindest of heads and correct ear placement, good front and neat feet, level topline and good double coat. A bit longer in body than first. Moved well.

3rd: Gallybob Willo The Wisp (Mrs S M B Walton)

Class 24. Yearling Bitch - Entries: 13 Absentees: 4

1st Place: Shaymiloney Saucy Olive JW (Mrs H J A Brambles)

Black, loved this young lady, I had admired her from the ring side, she has a pretty feminine head with a good width and depth of muzzle, with correct eye colour, Good spring of rib, good turn of stifles. I liked her overall balance and angulation. Moved well.

2nd Place: Lapema Mustang Kati at Brandelle (Mrs H Broughton)

This yellow was smaller than first, had a kind expression and had lovely pigment and eye colour, neat feet, good bone and substance with correct coat texture, stood foursquare, kept her topline on the move, lacked a little coat today.

3rd: Talard Whirlwind (Mr A, Mrs L & Miss T Douglas)

Class 25. Maiden Bitch - Entries: 7 Absentees: 3

1st Place: Manorwell Sweet Caroline (ai) (Mrs E & Ms A Grummitt & Dempsey)

Black, pretty feminine head with good length and width of muzzle, good front and shoulder placement, nice tight feet, enough bone, moved true, just needs time to mature

2nd Place: Cobalt Blue of Linthwaite (Mrs J & Mrs J & Mr G King & Johnson & Johnson)

Black, maturing nicely, lovely feminine head and expression with good neck and front, level topline, correct coat, just preferred movement of 1st today.

3rd: Quinstone Sapphire Storm (Mrs S J Head)

Class 26. Novice Bitch - Entries: 9 Absentees: 1

1st Place: Haselorhill High Society for Brupurhat (Mr B J Brackner)

Black of pleasing type and balance, strong for one so young, with plenty of scope, nice head with good eye shape and width of muzzle, good length of neck, level topline, good second thigh. Moved well.

2nd Place: Cobalt Blue of Linthwaite (Mrs J & Mrs J & Mr G King & Johnson & Johnson)

Class 27. Undergraduate Bitch - Entries: 14 Absentees: 4

1st Place: Baileydale Bottoms Up (Mr A & Mrs J Metcalfe)

Black, correct length of muzzle to head, with lovely expression, strong in outline, with plenty of bone, neat feet, good front and rear angulation, barrel ribs, good mover.

2nd Place: Trendlewood It Takes Two JW (Mr D L & Mrs F E M Braddon)

Chocolate, another I liked and will swap placings often, pretty feminine head, shorter cast than first and in lovely condition with double coat, although like most on the blow, well ribbed and good turn of stifle, moved well, just preferred overall balance of 1st on the day.

3rd: Gallybob Whoops A Daisy (Mrs S M B Walton)

Class 28. Graduate Bitch - Entries: 14 Absentees: 4

1st Place: Linthwaite Mathilda (ai) JW (Mrs J King)

Lovely class, just had to nit pick, this yellow had really come on since I last saw her, loved her overall balance with a real feminine head, eye colour and pigmentation, correct length and width of muzzle, good angulation, level topline which she held on the move. RCC

2nd Place: Balladoole Black Lace (Miss K Druggan)

Black, lovely type, pleasing head, good bone leading to tight feet, well angulated front and hindquarters, moved well.

3rd: Hurstmeon Just My Cup of Tea (Mr M K & Mrs A J Longhurst)

Class 29. Post Graduate Bitch - Entries: 14 Absentees: 7

1st Place: Tomative Annabelle JW (Mr T Lapper)

Black, this quality bitch is one I have admired from the ring side, sweet feminine head with alert expression. Short coupled, with good angulations and level topline, well rounded quarters, covered the ground with ease when moving.

2nd Place: Suttonpark Secret Alliance (Mrs C Griffin)

Yellow, a little longer in body than first, kind head and expression, good reach of neck set nicely into well laid shoulders, well ribbed body, lovely rounded bone. Positive on the move, and covered the ground with ease.

3rd: Trendlewood Its Only Love to Baileydale JW (Miss K Metcalfe)

Class 30. Mid Limit Bitch - Entries: 14 Absentees: 3

1st Place: Woolman Carefree (Mrs Y Shirton)

Lovely class, yellow, I had had the honour of going over this lovely bitch before, and still like her, a nice substantial bitch with a lovely femine head, eye colour and length and width of muzzle, good front and strong hindquarters, level topline which she held on the move.

2nd Place: Rumhill Bossy Boots JW (Ms C Boulden)

Chocolate, I have also had the honour of going over this bitch as a puppy, loved her head and eye shape, clean neck leading into well placed shoulders, good bone and correct feet. Good double coat, level topline and good tail set, moved well, just preferred 1st head.

3rd: Cremino Country Charm (Mrs J & Mrs J & Mr G King & Johnson & Johnson)

Class 31. Limit Bitch - Entries: 13 Absentees: 2

1st Place: Suttonpark Consuela (Mr J M Neachell)

Yellow, another lovely class, top quality, such expressive kind eyes and so beautifully balanced. Excellent front and rear construction, well ribbed body, moved with drive.

2nd Place: Netherdene Sea Thistle (Mr V P & Mrs R J & Mrs D M Risorto & Hopkinson)

Black, another gorgeous girl, smaller and shorter than 1st but so balanced, correct reach of neck and clean in shoulder. Well sprung ribs and well angulated front, good width of stifle and second thigh, moved straight and sound.

3rd: Carriegame Precious Jewel (Mr W & Mrs G Dodd)

Class 32. Special Open Yellow Bitch - Entries: 6 Absentees: 1

1st Place: Kimbajak Hip Hop to The Top (Ms C M Edwards)

Yellow, stood foresquare, clean outline and not overdone in any way, well placed ears with a nice soft expression, good angulations and depth of body, moved well.

2nd Place: Sh Ch Wynfaul Dancing Flame JW (Mrs M A Percival)

Yellow, with undoubted quality, a little stronger all round than first, but I loved her neck and front . and level topline, well rounded quarters, moved well.

3rd: Manorwell Eires and Graces (Mrs E & Ms A Grummitt & Dempsey)

Class 33. Open Bitch - Entries: 5 Absentees: 2

1st Place: Luckswarren Secret Phoenix (M F Bysouth)

Black, lovely head with expressive eyes, level topline and good depth of chest, tail set good, good well rounded bone and neat feet, correct coat, good mover.

2nd Place: Mikmaqlabs Heart’s Desire (Mrs F King)

Yellow, feminine head with good eye shape and pigmentation. Good neck into well placed shoulders, good level topline and depth of brisket, coat a littly wavy. Moved well.

3rd: Crosscroyde Celtic Queen at Linenvale Jch (Mr McDonald)

Class 34. Veteran (7+ years) Bitch - Entries: 15 Absentees: 5

1st Place: Sh Ch Sandylands High Time (Mr E & Mrs E Casey & Jayes)

What a lovely class, most of them not showing their age at all. What a quality yellow, this is. Stood foresquare, not overdone in any way, well placed ears with a nice soft expression, good angulations and depth of body, moved very well. Pressed hard in the challenge.

2nd Place: Ch Seatallan Yellow Archangel (ai) (Miss K Powell)

Yellow, another one of quality, loved her head, a little longer in body than first but had a good front assembly, strong topline, deep body excelling in spring of rib, good length of leg. Moved true and with purpose.

3rd: Abbeystead Hope (Mrs S L Minchella)

Class 35. Special Veteran (10+ years) Bitch - Entries: 1 Absentees: 0

1st Place: Winsleywood Wild Anise JW ShCM (Ms A Scutcher)

Yellow, this smart young lady of 11 years old, lovely feminine expression, correct balance of head and muzzle, plenty of bone, deep in forechest, good angulations, moved okay. She so enjoyed her day.

Class 36. Champion Bitch - Entries: 6 Absentees: 2

1st Place: Sh Ch Binnaig Buppsala JW (Ms C Campbell)

Black, I have had the pleasure of going over this lovely girl before, and hasn't she come on, she oozed quality and was in such a beautiful condition. Lovely feminine head, excellent shoulder construction, level topline which she kept on the move, excellent stifle and second thigh. I had the pleasure of awarding her the C.C. today

2nd Place: Sh Ch Lapema Masquerade at Sandylands (Mr E & Mrs E Casey & Jayes)

Yellow, another I have admired and have previously had the pleasure of going over before, pretty feminine head, lovely confirmation, stood foursquare, but just lacked coat.

3rd: Sh Ch Abbeystead Psion of Haselorhill (Mrs S L Minchella)

Black, the sweetest of heads, with correct length and width of muzzle, lovely confirmation, clean outline, very attentive to owner, moved well

1st Place: CH Warringah's Pippingarra JW (Mr D Coode)

Yellow, what a lovely bitch from this well known kennel, lovely outline, good depth of body, level topline, good bone leading to nice tight feet, good bend of stifle and second thigh. Moved well.

2nd Place: CH Seatalian Yellow Archangel (ai) (Miss K Powell)
