Thank you the committee for the invite to judge Labrador retriever (bitches), it was a great honour to be invited and a privilege to put hands on some very nice dogs on the day. I would also like to extend my thanks to my more than capable ring stewards who kept me right and my ring running smoothly. Thank you to all who entered and was present on what did turn out to be a very hot day.

         Rawlinson & Balshaw) 8 month yellow of good type, nice head with good proportions, nice clean out line, lovely front quarters, nice tight feet, short coupled with level top line with tail straight off back, nice body depth and spring of rib, Front movement is currently a little loose at the elbow which should change with maturity very happy on the move.

2nd Baldevs Keep Sake (Miss D Long) 7 month black lovely femine head with defined stop, nice eye colour, clean neck into nicely placed front quarters, level top line, good second thigh muscle with a moderate turn of stifle, good tight feet mover well.

1st Meadowline Whizz Bang at Bruxinho (Mrs K A & Mrs A T Gordon-Smith & Bibby) 9 month old black, standing four square, sharp clean out line, sweet femine head with keen expression, clean neck, good forechest and depth of body, holding top line on the move, plenty of bone, nice angles front & rear producing sound movement out and back with a pleasing side gait.

2nd Richbourne Di Dah Di Dit (Mrs S Wiles) 11 month black in good coat, nice femine head with good stop and length of mussel, strong in neck in to well laid shoulders, deep in chest & body, slightly longer cast than first, correct tail set on well-proportioned rear quarters, a stead and straight mover.

1st Binnaig Sea Salt JW (Ms C Campbell) 16.5 month yellow with plenty of bone, clean compact out line, with good length of leg, pretty femine head, pleasing expression, clean neck leading into well placed shoulders, lovely spring of rib giving depth and breadth to body, level in top line, good use tail, set on top of nice defined rear quarters with good second thigh muscle and turn of stifle, in tune with handler and delivering lovely foot fall when on the move.

2nd Hafnau Odette (Miss C Jones) 15 month black lacking in coat today, nice clean classic out line upstanding bitch who works well with handler, nice dark eye, good stop making for a good femine head, clean neck, good front & rear quarters, tail straight of level back ample bone, happy steady mover with good & drive.

1st Rochevale Sapphire (Mrs C & Mr D Clayton) A compact yellow with just the right amount of bone, she has a pleasing head with well-set ears and correct eye colour giving her a sweet femine expression. Clean through the neck flowing into well placed shoulders with elbows well tucked under the chest, nice spring of rib depth in body and is short coupled with a level top line, her tail was constantly on the move, rear quarters are well defined with correct angulation, movement was steady, sure footed smooth and flowing when viewed from the side.

2nd Saranden Book of Dreams JW (Mr D N & Mrs S A Mclellan) A yellow nice clean out line and femine head, moderate stop with pleasing eye colour and good pigment, super front and rear angulation giving her overall balance, strong through loin with a level top line, moves feely and easily maintaining rhythm and harmony with her handler.

1st Naiken Inspiral (ai) (Mr & Mrs A R V & Miss R Hodge) A chocolate in good condition and sweet disposition and in good muscle tone for age. Super head with good proportions, good stop and length of mussel. Clean strong neck flowing into a well-laid shoulder, good length of leg, deep maturing body, level top line with correct tail set. Moderate turn of stifle, well let down hocks and tight feet. Movement out and back was straight and true with a flowing sold foot placement and an easy balanced side gait.

2nd Teazledown Charismatic (Mrs E J & Miss A V Bruce & Johnson) A dark yellow lacking coat today, pleasing head with good muzzle, pigment and ear placement, good front quarters and spring of rib, short coupled with firm rear quarters with good bone and tight feet, movement was steady and free flowing.

1st Tomative Annabelle JW (Mr T Lapper) An attentive balanced black with good bone, lovely head with good stop length of muzzle and correct eye colour. Strong in neck good fore chest well laid shoulder elbows firmly placed under a deep chest level top line correct tail set, nest feet and good rear quarters, steady sound movement out and back.

2nd Ramsayville Gigi at Taligal (ai) JW (Miss K & Miss C O'neill) A black with good bone moderate femine head enhanced by excellent ear placement and eye colour. Strong clean neck nicely laid front quarters, good leg length and neat feet. Deep through the chest & body holding a level top line nice otter tail, strong in rear quarters, on the move she covered the ground with ease.

2nd Serengoch's Knockin Boots (Miss K L Jones) Dark chocolate with good bone, head of good proportions, dark eye and well placed ears. Clean in neck level top line good spring of rib, longer cast than one, strong nicely angulated rear quarters, tight feet with a smooth and effortless movement out & back.

Good spring of rib good front & rear angles, level top line with correct tail set. Moved out with purpose with steady balanced side gait.

2nd Woolman Carefree (Mrs Y Shirton) Yellow with nice bone, nice femine head with ears well placed, good dark eye and excellent pigment, clean in neck into deep chest and nicely placed front quarters good reach of rib cage with level top line and tail, good turn of stifle on well let down hocks on neat feet. Movement once settled, flowed with good reach and drive.

Lovely femine head and pleasing expression, good eye colour and ear placement, which she used to good effect. Strong neck with lovely fore-chest, held up on well-placed front quarters, good barrel rib and depth to body with level to line good rear angulation completed the balance out line. Moving straight & true over the ground.

2nd Carriegame Precious Jewel (Mr W & Mrs G Dodd) Black similar to one and also of good type, nice femine head with kind expression, clean neck and ample bone and depth in body stood four square on good leg length, good rear angulation and movement was steady and free without exaggeration.

1st Ch Warringah's Pippingarra JW Sgwc (Mr D Coode Superb yellow of excellent quality and a textbook example of balance, type and substance, typical femine head with correct eye colour with the kindest expression, clean neck flowing to the well-laid shoulders and elbows well tucked in to a good barrel rib with good depth to through the body, well positioned rear quarters and moderate turn of stifle, with well let down hocks with neat & tight feet, adding to the sound and steady out and back movement with a side gait is fluid & effortless and possessing the kind reach & drive that is the hallmark of exceptional movement and is to die for. Was happy to award her the CC today from a class filed with quality dogs.

2nd Sh Ch Nancy's Special Treasure (Mrs P M Bradley) Another of good type, black with good balanced out line, nice head with good stop and muzzle length, lovely dark eye, clean strong neck leading into well-constructed front quarters with proper angulation, deep in chest and through the body, strong in loin with well-developed musculature to rear quarters producing drive for steadfast and straight movement and pleasing side gait. Awarded her the RCC today.

Made excellent use of her construction to cover the ground effortlessly.

2nd Sh Ch Jancet Aurora (Mrs E A Peggs) Another mature yellow who pushed one all the way but just lacking in coat today. Femine head good shape to eye and colour well set ears of good size, clean neck of good length into well laid shoulders, good fore-chest deep through body with strong rear quarters that powered a free and easy movement.
