Special Awards Class A – Special Award Puppy Dog or Bitch – 9 ( 3 )

What a class of raw youngsters, just love the variety of puppies, my selections are purely based on their performance on the day.

1st, ( 67 ) Odell & Evans’s DRISHAUN JUST CONSIDER SUKESHI -- 9 months old golden bitch with dark muzzle, Elegant head held proud with triangular dark eyes with oriental expression, her ears set low and close to her head, she has complete scissor bite. she had long and sloping upper arm with well boned forelegs. She has moderate length of body and prominent hipbones. Just enough turn of stifle for her age, moved out beautifully with springy action , standing on large feet, I’d prefer her with better tail set. Well handled.

2nd, ( 47 ) Kidd’s CLOUDSIDE PRINCE OF LIGHT – 7 months old cream and pale golden boy, nice head with dark muzzle, still very raw with puppy coat, he has dark eyes with lovely expression, Good length of neck, he has long and sloping upper arm and well boned legs. deep chest & well sprung ribcage, good croup, tail well set on. He has short loin, good turn of stifle and moved out well with large feet . Needs time to settle & mature.

3rd, ( 5 ) Bellringer’s CLOUDSIDE EBONY PRINCE AT JOHDA

Class B – Special Award Post Graduate Dog or Bitch – 7 ( 1 )

1st, ( 34 ) Harwood’s ALTSIDE TOO HOT TO HANDLE JW -- Beautiful 2 and half year old cream boy in good coat condition, balanced head held proudly with lovely expression and dark eyes. Good length of neck into well laid back long and sloping shoulders, he has deep chest and good spring of ribs, level top line with prominent hipbones , short loin and good turn of stifle, ringed tail well set on. Moved out beautifully with springy movement coming and going, large feet covered with hairs, loved him for overall shape & balance. Well presented and handled.

2nd, ( 43 ) Hughes’s ISTANI BOB DYLAN AT FINKIME JW—18 months black and cream boy in good coat condition, lovey head with correct eye shape, strong jaws with correct scissor bite, correct ear set close to the head, lovely long neck into well muscled long and sloping shoulders, deep chest , well boned straight leg , fair spring of rib , good level top line with broad short loin, nice long quarters and good turn of stifle with fairly low hocks, standing on large feet. he seemed not quite settled in the ring but moved out with reach and drive.

3rd, ( 29 ) Gilchrist’s KHAWARI RASPBERRY BERET--

Class C – Special Award Open Dog or Bitch – 6 ( 3 )

1st, ( 74 ) Tanner, Tanner & Link’s RHAJIKHAN ATHENA OF ALEYAZAR—Pretty 3 and half year old blue brindle bitch, beautifully coated, lovely head with dark eye of correct shape, strong jaws with complete scissor bite, correct ear set with long hairs, nice and long neck into good sloping shoulders, well muscled forearms with well boned straight front legs. Deep chest with good ribbings, level top line with prominent hipbones, strong and long back end with well turned stifles. Springy movement with big feet.

2nd, ( 36 ) Hills & Thornton’s ABSOLUTE AFGHANS DJIBOUTI AT KARNAK JW ( IMP NOR ) – 4 year old light golden boy with dark muzzle, good shape of body with the view of oriental, lovely head with good eye shape, nice long neck and well boned forelegs close to deep chest, he has shorter shoulders I feel that limited his movement with less reach and spring, level top line with slightly longer loin, nice long back legs with well turned stifles, standing long rather than square.

3rd, ( 76 ) Turner, Boydell & Hutton’s NIGHTWIND YOURE MY KIND OF CRAZY
