1 Smart’s Cadanbyrig Snow Dancer – Free stands so well and naturally with such good balance showing her good angulation. Muzzle and skull of equal proportions with medium sized oval eyes, and ears framed just right. Level topline and well developed ribcage. Tail gently sloping from croup, straight, parallel rear pasterns and forelegs to compact feet. RBOB & Winner of RBOB Stakes where she had the opportunity to really use her good movement.
2 Connor’s Cadanbyrig Ice and Roses at De Melvilles – Similar remarks as 1 apply and I note they are sisters and sure they will change places often as it was very close between the two. Although I felt this bitch was possibly a bit more mature at the moment and I preferred her bone, she wasn’t quite as together on the move (although the floor didn’t help). I liked her outline, she was a little shorter in body and her head has a lovely expression.
Open(4,2)
1 Wright’s Caldera Coral Storm at Lassemista – Vey elegant in first appearance with very attractive outline and good stifle. Masculine head of correct proportions, would prefer a slightly darker eye. Ears well set with feathering, strong neck, level topline and carries tail well. He excels in his graceful driving movement when he gets in to his stride. BOB.
2 Smart’s Cadanbyrig Marin – Solid brown bitch with a nice outline and in good coat. Pretty, feminine head. She had good bone for size and neat feet. Would prefer more level topline and a little more animation overall but she moved ok
Irish Setter
Puppy
1 Tapper & Leyland’s Kedalita Steptoe and Son – Well grown masculine boy who really looked the part standing. Such good forechest, firm, level topline that gently sloped to tail bone. Beautiful head with dark eye and pigment. Coat shining beautifully and well groomed. BP
2 Gisby’s Marlland Lily on the Valley by Sutteresett (Imp Nld) – Lovely bitch, very well put together and I liked her a lot. Feminine head with low set ears. Correct bone for size and neat feet. Level topline with tail sloping off croup making a lovely stacked outline. Glamourous coat and moved well.
3 Russell’s Tiroen Touch of Magic by Settesoli (imp KJC)
Special Yearling
1Parson’s Quensha Thinking Out Loud at Bransett JW – Very mature and up to size. Glamourous and in full coat. Melting expression, head to die for. Straight front legs with good bone, lovely feathering and arched feet. Moved strongly. RBOB
2 Williamson’s Caskey’s United with Bluesprings – Giving a lot away in age but I liked her a lot and many of the same remarks apply. She’s one for the future. Good bone for size, lovely outline showing angulation front and rear. Neat feet. Pretty head and expression. Moved well.
Post Graduate
1 Parson’s Forfarion Flutt’r yer Lashes at Bransett – A calm and mature bitch. She looked well in outline but I would prefer more forechest. Head feminine with dark pigment. Good level topline and good bone. She carried a good coat and moved freely.
Open
1 Gisby’s Suttersett Rum Tum Tugger – This boy was an easy winner for me today as he had it all going on! Looked a picture when stacked. Maculine head with dark pigment. Strong neck in to level topline. Well fitting elbows and deep through the chest with good spring of rib and strong loin. Liked his bone, feet and tail set. Moved with drive BOB.
2 Richardson’s Bluesprings Now I’m Here at Forestfire – Masculine boy with broad skull, dark pigment and kind eye. Strong back skull to neck in to topline. Was not as secure on the movement today.
3 Williamson’s Bluesprings Picture This JW
Lagotto Romagnolo

1 Whitworth’s Mad Max Madiba of Freworth (Imp Ita) – Lovely little mover with his tail held high. Off white in colour in rustic condition with woolly coat. Muzzle slightly shorter than skull demonstrating correct proportions, short, strong neck in to level topline. Moderate angulation and tight feet. BP & RBOB

1 Lillicrap’s Mizani Sebio Iola – Stands very nicely freely showing her cobby outline with level topline. Attractive head and face with dark pigment short and strong neck. Straight front legs with good bone and well arched feet. Flows easily around the ring when moving with a very happy tail. BOB
2 Worrall’s Moonreed Drake – A little bit of a fidget which made him difficult to assess. Appeared to have good bone and feet. Level topline. Was more at ease when moving.

1 Abrahams’ Cravessa’s Right on the Dot by Adormidera – Coat has been trimmed for the summer, so hiding nothing. Correct proportions standing with strong neck and level topline. Smart little mover.
Post Graduate (2,1)
1 Salvatierra’s Sierrasalva’s Fiesta – Bitch in full coat of woolly consistency who stood beautifully to show herself off and I was really drawn to her! Her head planes appeared correct and her ears were dropped but reacted and lifted when alert. Strong neck. Deep chest with well sprung ribs and tight elbows. Strong and robust on appearance and moved purposefully. BOB
Open (3,0)
1 Salvatierra’s Sierrasalva’s Regalo – Bitch in full coat, really looking the part. Nice head proportions with good ears and carriage. Appropriate bone for size and stature with neat feet. Attractive head, short neck and well set on. Moved with power. RBOB
2 Searles’ Rommy de Ubbadat (Imp Esp) – Another nice bitch, clipped this time so proportions could be clearly seen. I did like her but she was a big wiggly to go over today making it rather difficult to assess her properly. Well sprung ribs and tight feet. She moved out well.

2 Kaye, Byrne & Barclay’s Swiss Sh Ch Bryanelly Woody Among Nizzana WW23 Portuguese Pointer – Masculine dog who was really well muscled and in good condition. Typical convergent skull planes and square muzzle of correct proportions but maintaining a kindly expression. Forelegs straight and strong with oval feet. Well developed ribcage, broad and deep.
