Ashfield (Notts) Canine Society 9/6/2024

A challenging day with very cold and windy conditions, many thanks to the exhibitors and dogs who coped very well. Huge thanks also to my steward who managed to keep things moving along and anchored down.

 Bolognese

 J (2,1abs)

1. Whateley’s Arkadian Alfredo Ferrari. Quality 10 mth puppy, liked his compact size and square balanced outline. Very attractive head, with the darkest of eyes with well pigmented rims and nose. Soundly made throughout with a firm level topline, well set on tail and moderate hind angulations. All topped off with a well presented white coat with flocking coming along. Steady and sound on the move. BP & RBOB

 PG (1)

1. Whateley’s Belstown Beloved Amee at Arkadian. Mature girl, overall impression is that she is square in build and compact with required substance. Sweet and feminine head, dark eyes, her nose could be a little more densely pigmented. Good body proportions and moderate hind angulation. Flocked coat. She went well enough on the go around not always keeping her tail up on the move today .

Attractive masculine head of good proportions, with dark nose, eye rims and dark expressive eyes. Good front and legs, well ribbed, firm level back and well set on tail. Coat of good texture with desire flocking. It was on the move that won him BOB, moving out smartly and freely looking particularly impressive in profile.

Well-muscled hindquarters and presented in good coat and body condition. Moved out well, true both ways
