BIS

I was spoilt for choice here with some really high quality toys to choose from in both the adult and puppy groups.

Group 1. Morley’s Lizlanmor Nevinson (Peke). Stunning boy shown in immaculate order, not a hair out of place. He has a fabulous headpiece, large, wide and shallow with large dark round eyes. He has a pleasing shapely body and heavy to pickup with correct weight distribution to the front. He scored well on the move, sound as a bell with a slow and dignified rolling gait. Couldn’t resist him for BIS.

Group 2. Watkins’ Hawksflight American Jazz (Min Pin). Smart red boy, a real showman and so well schooled he certainly catches the eye as soon as he enters the ring. So much to commend him, particularly his size and shapely outline, liked his head shape, dark eyes and well placed ears. Shown in A1 condition, he scores well on the move with a true hackney action in front and lift behind, which is not always evident in the breed.

Group 3. Quinn’s Ch Sharlarna Eye Candy JW. This beautiful girl also topped the Jane Allman Memorial Open Stakes (see notes) , and secured her place in this quality group on her lovely breed type and sound and stylish movement.

Group 4. Pirrie & McEvoy’s Guereza Goody Goody Gumdrop JW (Affenpinscher). Very typy youngster and so full of character who also won the Arthur Broadhead Memorial Junior Stakes (see notes). Earned her place on her delightful breed type and self assured performance.

BPIS

Some cracking puppies here and it’ll be interesting to see how they develop as the new show season approaches.

Group 1. Pirrie & McEvoy’s Guereza Queen of The Fairies (Affenpinscher). I just couldn’t resist this beautiful and cheeky little monkey and she put on a very confident and sure footed performance to take the top spot. Also winning the Lesley Stanley Memorial Puppy Stakes (see notes). Must have a bright future ahead of her.

Group 2. Morley & Hitchcock’s Sharlow Come On Over to Lizlanmaor (Peke). A self assured youngster, with typical head properties, shallow with good width, dark round eyes giving a melting expression. She has a shapely and compact body and she’s heavy to pick up too. Her puppy coat is developing well and she is presented in first class order. Impressive on the move for a youngster, confident, coordinated and the desired slow dignified roll.

Group 3. Hancock’s Cindaires Velvet Dream (Coton De Tulear). Sweet and most promising girl who was pleasing for type with a slight rise over her loins and her profile shows she is slightly longer in body than height as required. Very pretty head, lovely dark expressive eyes and dense nose pigment. Good front, firm topline with slight rise over loin. Her well presented coat is coming along well. Moved out confidently and soundly.

Group 4. Hartill-Speak’s Verheyen Woody under Gracewincavs (CKCS). Handsome and quality blen lad, also won the AV Toy puppy class (see notes). Won his place on his lovely breed type and quality head properties.
