Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla Club of Great Britain

My sincere thanks to the Committee for their invitation to Judge here today, I was made to feel very welcome, thank you to my steward who was absolutely fantastic and kept things running smoothly.

There was a wide variation in size and coat but I was pleased with the overall quality of my main winners, thanks to all the exhibitors for affording me the privilege of judging their lovely Wire-Haired Vizsla’s.

1. Garstang; Kisdon It’s A Craker, very raw young dog, pleasing expression, but lacking the facial furnishings at the moment, slight arch to neck and level topline with strong bone and tight feet, would prefer longer upper arm and still needs to drop in brisket, coat is harsh to touch but not fully developed yet, needs to tighten up on the move.

1. Campbell; Haywire Texana Vadasz, nicely proportioned head with a gentle expression, moderate neck with well laid shoulder, level topline but a little short in back, good bone but feet need to tighten, still needs to drop in brisket and the coat to develop, moved well with correct tail carriage.

2. Pearson; Lanspar Zsolt, square head and soft expression, fine ears, moderate length of neck, good bone and feet, but lacked body and condition which made him look very rangy, his coat is harsh and his furnishing are starting to develop.

Wearing; Zoldmali Daru at Glenlusa, promising young dog, his furnishing give him that square head and distinguished expression, moderate neck and well balanced angulation, he has a good spring of rib that is carried well back and a deep chest, strong bone and tight feet, harsh weatherproof coat covering his body, moved well

1. Morton; Ewtor Fly Me To The Moon, medium sized dog with a balanced outline, dark eyes giving him an intelligent expression, clean and moderate in neck, strong level topline, correct spring of rib and good bone, his feet could be tighter and although he has a good covering of coat it was soft to the touch, moved well in profile.

1. Moss; Ewtor Barking At The Moon JW, handsome young dog, loved the square appearance of his head, clean slightly arched neck, well laid shoulder, with a strong well developed chest, correct height to length ratio and moderate rear angulation, strong boned, feet could be tighter and he has a tendency push forward when stacked, excelled on the move with strong ground covering stride and correct tail carriage, finished with a harsh weatherproof coat, well presented in good condition BD

2. Tasker; Zoldmali Ezmi, promising dog, stronger in head and expression, strong neck into level topline, deep well-developed chest, but a little short in rib cage, strong hindquarters with well-developed thighs, good bone and tight arched feet, moved with drive but spoilt with his high tail carriage, not the coat of my winner but it was harsh and close fitting. 1. Spillane; Belatarr Kodiak, well balanced dog with a strongly developed chest and ribs carried well back, strong bone and tightly arched feet, correct head with furnishings and a tight-fitting harsh coat, moved well to take this class, shown in good hard condition.

2. Summerfield; Sh Ch Miadsc Cast A Spell, pleasing kind expression, strong neck and well developed chest, well sprung ribs but short ribcage, level topline and moderate angulation, strong bone and well arched feet, harsh coat, not as positive the move as my winner.

3. Collier; Sh Ch Belatarr America, well balanced dog, but rangier, not as typey in head but good furnishings, well laid shoulders and moderate rear angulation, ok for depth and strong level back, lacked the hard muscle of the first two.

1. Wearing; NI CH Zoldmali Anizs at Genlusa SGWC, almost 11yrs old, what a fabulous girl for her age, so well balanced, shown in hard muscular condition and covered the ground on the moved, feminine head and expression, strong neck, well laid shoulder and deep chest, ribs carried well back, strong hindquarters with well developed first and second thigh, hocks well let down. BV

2. Summerfield; Ambermoore Tanzanite Blue at Miadsc ShCM, 10 yrs old, not showing her age at all, preferred her skull and square muzzle, strong neck and level topline, well-developed chest with ribs carried well back, strong bone but not the angulation of the winner and so lacked the strong drive from the hocks on the move.

3. Le Mesurier; Brynffrwd Angel Gabrielle, 12 yrs old and showing her age a little, she has a lovely balanced outline and strong bone with tight feet, good length of rib, moved soundly to complete a lovely trio.

Edminson; Kisdon Insignia; very nice puppy, well developed for her age, pleasing head and expression, strong neck and well laid shoulder, strong deep chest and ribs carried well back, strong boned with tight arched feet, level topline which she held on the move, harsh close-fitting coat but needs the furnishing for the full package, moved with strong rear drive and covered the ground well BP

2. Bryan; Miadsc Tropical Fizz At Kitrage, a rangier bitch and not as strong in bone, the furnishing on her head giving a square appearance, strong neck but not as clean into her shoulder, good length of upper arm and tightly arched feet, she is very raw at the moment and needs to body up, a bit loose in movement but as she muscles up that will improve.

1. Pearson; Lanspar Zendaya; promising young bitch, feminine head, square muzzle and dark expressive eye, smaller build but has a lovely flowing and balanced outline, clean neck and level topline, deep in brisket with tight arched feet, coat is short but harsh to touch, she still has lots of maturing to do, moved well to take this class.

2. Pearson; Lanspar Zarla, litter sister to 1 and has lots of similar points, she was slightly bigger and has a better coat than her sister, slightly shorter in rib and not as happy being set up, but moved well in profile with strong drive from her hindquarters.

3. Court; Twelveoaks Golden Orange, very happy young bitch, she has a balanced outline with deep chest and ribs carried well back, well laid shoulder and good angulation behind, but incorrect short soft coat and lacked any furnishings.

1. Le Mesurier; Brynffrwd Saint Gwenafwy; little narrow in head and long muzzle, but has a sweet expression, slightly arched clean neck and straight topline, very rangy and long on the leg, upright in shoulder and long second thigh, needs to body up and drop in chest, has a harsh but long coat.

1. Hunt; Kutyahaus Szulo Angyals, feminine head, clean moderate neck and straight back, strongly developed rids with good depth of brisket, harsh weatherproof coat, would prefer a better layback of shoulder, strong bone, moderate angulation behind with tight arched feet, moved well with powerful drive from the rear.

2. Wearing; Vernum Ventulus Hanga At Genlusa, preferred the head and expression of this bitch, well balanced, strong bone and tight arched feet, good depth of brisket and straight back, not as positive on the move and changing her coat at the moment.

1. Connolly & Guest; Bardantop Witchway Benmorbry, lots to like here, loved her head and expressive dark eye, moderate slight arch to her neck and level topline, well laid shoulder and ribs carried well back, would prefer more depth of chest, strong bone and tight hind feet, excelled in her coat and condition, moved well.

2. Hunt; Lanspar Kivalo, dark expressive eye with strong square muzzle, clean moderate neck and well laid shoulder, ribs carried well back and moderate angulation behind, tight well arched feet, short but harsh coat, moved with drive but needs to tighten in front pastern.

3. Le Mesurier; Brynffrwd penarddun, starting to show her age in her head and expression, clean neck and straight topline, well sprung ribs and carried well back, moderate angulation behind, short and harsh coat, not the length of forearm, which showed on the move.

1. Lewis; Enryb Lily The Pink, headed a lovely class of bitches, strong but feminine head, square muzzle with correct furnishings, clean moderate neck and super well laid shoulders, strong through her body and ribs carried well back, strong bone and tight arched feet, one of the best coats here for colour and texture, she is so well balanced both standing and on the move, pleased to award her BB and BIS, well handled.

2. Edminson; Kisdon Goldhill, another lovely bitch with a good head and expression, not as clean over her neck and shoulders, strong deep chest with ribs carried well back, strong bone and tight arched feet, strong well-muscled hind quarters, shown in excellent hard condition with harsh weatherproof coat, covered the ground with powerful drive.

3. Rickman; Herlinga Hextilda, completes my trio of lovely bitches in this class, head is a little longer in muzzle but liked her alert expression, clean neck and well laid shoulders with strong well-developed chest, balanced outline with harsh coat, lighter in bone with tight arched feet, moved with drive.

1. Connolly; Bardantop Rumbaba With Benmorbry, well balanced bitch, square muzzle and feminine expression, clean through neck and level topline, strong chest and ribs carried well back, strong bone, arched feet, harsh but short coat, moved well to take this class.

2. Moss; Enryb Scarlett O’Hara At Ewtor, workmanlike bitch with strong bone, well balanced outline, deep brisket and ribs carried well back, excelled in coat but lacked the hard muscle of my winner which let her down in her movement.

3. Sipos; Int Ch Ir Sh Ch Dolgos-Nimrod Hibernia Of Nagyzabasi Jun Ch, very moderate bitch with lots to like, feminine head and expression, ribs carried well back, balanced both standing and in profile moving, shorter but harsh closefitting coat, just lost out on moving close behind.

Cooper; Sh Ch Deifstock Desert Rose, very nice bitch, feminine head with furnishings that give her that square appearance, moderate slightly arched neck, strong chest with ribs carried well back, ok bone and tight arched feet, excellent harsh waterproof coat, shown in hard condition moved well with correct tail carriage, just preferred the topline of my Limit winner, RBB

2. Cooper; Deifstock Duffy, same kennel as my winner and has many of the same qualities, balanced outline with strong bone and tight arched feet, deep chest and ribs carried well back, not as clean in neck and shoulders, but has a strong level topline, moved with drive and correct tail carriage.
