Cesky Terrier – Open 1 Entries
1st Komidion Rychnovsky Dajaces ShCEx (Mrs J Lewis) – BOB – G4
A 5-year-old dog presented in full coat with plenty of furnishings, masculine headpiece with correct scissor bite. For me is top end in size for the breed but has such a sound construction which enables him to really stride out with reach and drive around the ring which is a pleasure to watch.
Dandie Dinmont Terrier – Post Graduate 1 Entries
1st Dainty Dandies Explorer at Lenacourt (IMP NLD) (Mrs V Harcourt-Morris) – BOB – BPIB – PG4
Just 7 months old and at just the right stage of development, adult coat just coming through and the trademark top knot. Handled well by his young handler who got the best out of him when he wasn’t necessarily wanting to co-operate on the move.
Jack Russell Terrier - Post Graduate 1 Entries
1st Rodzina Rumblin Rose (Mrs R Mitchell) – BOB
16 months and is maturing well, lovely size and balance very much in proportion. Pretty feminine head with good bite. Presented in a harsh tight-fitting jacket. Very eye catching in the stack and profile but movement today was a little excitable.
Norfolk Terrier - Post Graduate 1 Entries
1st Earthtaw Patrick (Ms J Haydon)
2 year old dog whose personality means he cannot be ignored, he is such a happy lively character who was really enjoying his time in the ring. Presented in good coat of correct texture. Ok in head although could use his ears better to enhance his expression, mouth Ok. Moved with drive around the ring once settled.
Norfolk Terrier - Open 2 Entries
1st Earthtaw Lincoln (Ms J Haydon) – BOB
Masculine 5 year old male who unfortunately was short of coat today to go further, however what he had was of a good texture. Correct mouth with scissor bite, tidy ears framing his expression. Moved the best out of the entry today maintaining his shape and driving from the rear.
2nd Watercroft Maybellene at Tamodan (Mrs B Mullan) - RBOB
Very pretty bitch who is not long out of puppy. Typical head and expression and as a cheeky personality. Coat just coming in and was of substance. Holds herself well when stacked but is still loose on the move.
Scottish Terrier - Post Graduate 3 Entries / 1 Absent
1st Pamaswater Hakuna Matata (Miss P Taylor)- BOB
Super black 15-month-old dog requiring bit more time to develop but well-deserved best of breed today. Square in stature and maintains his shape on the move. Presented in thick jacket with just the right amount of dressing to enhance his overall appearance. Moved well in this class for his young handler.
2nd Honeypaws Shake It Off (Skudder & Caley)– BPIB – PG2
At just 10 months old this black puppy is just right in her development; she is an absolute picture in profile both in the stack and on the move. Beautiful expression with well dropped ears, strong jaw and bite. Will watch her with interest, I am sure a star for the future.
Scottish Terrier - Open 3 Entries / 2 Absent
1st Pamaswater Flaron (Miss P Taylor) - RBOB
2-year-old wheaten bitch of substance. Presented in good textured jacket. Strong in back with rounded rib providing a balanced outline. Moved well for her handler they have a good rapport together.
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier – Post Graduate 1 Entries
1st Lakkas Yankee Sweet Silkcroft (IMP SWE) (Satherley, Satherley & Wynter) - BOB – G2
This dog took my eye the moment he entered the ring, he is so full of breed type, masculine without being coarse. Constructional sound which enables him to move with a lovely flowing action driving from his well let down hocks. Presented and handled well.
Staffordshire Bull Terrier – Post Graduate 1 Entries
1st Skyestaff Truest Desire for Gazstaff (Thomas & Griffiths) - RBOB
Black brindle 2 year old bitch who is a lovely size and very balanced when presented for judging. Pleasing in head with full cheeks and well-set rose ears. Strong rear quarters with firm topline. Unfortunately, she would not co-operate with her handler when moving today.
Staffordshire Bull Terrier – Open 3 Entries / 1 Absent
1st Fergustaff Tudor Legacy (Mrs L Marshallsay) – BOB
Very masculine white and tan male full of breed type. Very typical head with strong punishing jaw housing large teeth set in a correct scissor bite. Well-muscled all over but not over-done. Although excitable on the move was the best mover on the day.
2nd Skyestaff She Conquered JW (Hands & Freeman)
Back brindle bitch who just couldn’t match 1st for overall presence and showmanship. Pretty head with good bite could have a tidier ear. Well-muscled in the rear which she uses on the move can lose her topline while moving.
West Highland White Terrier - Post Graduate3 Entries / 2 Absent
1st Ashgate Kelso (Mrs S Thomas) RBOB
Just out of puppy, she still needs a bit more time to develop, has attitude in spades, Feminine head with black points and well-placed ears that enhance expression. Coat of correct texture and well presented. Moved out around the ring with a free and easy stride.

1st Hillcloud Echowave by Ashgate (Mrs S Thomas) - BOB
Another young girl with just a little more maturity than her kennel mate. Presented in lovely harsh white coat, presents a balanced picture in the stack and holds it on the move. Attractive head piece with dark eyes and nose. Extremely sound on the move which gave her the edge for best of breed.

1st Ch Risibully Have You Seen Her with Fergustaff (Mrs L Marshallsay) – BOB – G1
Bull Terrier Miniature – One from the top draw a real quality exhibit. Plenty of breed type from head shape, strong bite strength of neck and body but is still feminine in her outlook. Moved really well with free flowing action and a very happy dispensation. A pleasure thank you for bringing her.
2nd Mindlen Mahican in Chellowside (Mrs R & Miss R Mitchell)
Parson Russell Terrier – Upright masculine male of good proportions, good head shape with well set ears framing his expression, Scissor bite. A nice sort to go over with flow from his neck to shoulder, easily spanned. Coat tight and harsh. He moved we for and aft but in profile seemed a bit hesitate which effected his topline but a lot to like.

1st Ch Robelroy Many Dreams at Furlongfox ShCEx (Miss P Wynter) BAV – VG1 – BVIS
WFT - I am sure that everything that needs to be said about this dog has already been documented. Today he was presented to perfection, sporting a crisp pin wire coat. Constructional he just flows from his nose to his tail. When stacked you just cannot ignore him, and I am glad that the best in show judge agreed and placed him Best Veteran in Show
2nd Janski Philosopher Dajaces (Mrs J Lewis) – RBAV – VG2
Cesky Terrier – This dog was one of the best moving exhibits present today, takes full ownership of the ring, striding out with purpose and pose. Presented in show trim that enhanced his overall shape, well-muscled rear and strong neck. He was a pleasure to go over.
3rd Marizion May Flower at Ankietaz (Miss J Windsor-Hitchens) – VG3
Border terrier, another cracking veteran who was sporting a lovely new harsh jacket. Scissor bite still evident and although a little thicker throughout could still be spanned. Thank you for bringing her.
