Many thanks to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to judge and to the exhibitors for an excellent entry.

Special Award Junior D/B 7,3

1. Ward’s Llwyni Rock N’roll Star. D. Now 16 months, maturing nicely. His Wedge shaped head with correct stop and small black nose, dark expressive eyes, well set small erect ears are a feature. Clean front, well laid shoulders and tight elbows. Deep chest, admirable spring of rib and high set tail. Well angulated hindquarters produce strong rear drive. Gorgeous white coat with the blackest of pigmentation to boot. Steady on the move, producing a stunning in profile.

2. Aston & Bowen’s Glamglow’s Cosmic Charmer. D. 14 months. Lovely overall size. Admired his dark pigmentation. Wedge shaped head contained expressive dark eyes. Well placed, small ears used to advantage. Excellent dentition. Well laid shoulders. I liked his rear angulations which produced strong rear drive. Good for tail set and coat. Has a great prospect in the showring.

3. McPhee’s Maihimekai The Tempress.

Special Award D/B Graduate 5,2

1. McPhee’s Glamglow’s Blushing Bride For Maihimekai. B. 3 years. When standing she produces a lovely shape. Good for size and is well balanced. Correct wedge shaped head with muzzle nicely tapering to small nose. Appealing, dark, expressive eyes. Forequarters are nicely angulated. Chest has a good depth. Secure strong backline. Best of movers. Out of coat but that is temporary.

2. Chapman’s Emiko Yukiko. B. 2 years. When standing she produces a balanced shape. I liked her overall size. Head contains a correctly shaped muzzle, small triangular shaped ears used well. Nicely bodied. Lovely character. Secure topline and well plumed tail. Moved steadily.

3. Griffin & barclay’s tawvale heiwa

Special Award D/B 10,3

1. Aston & Bowen’s Glamglow’s Cotton Candy. B. 2 years. Ultra sound mover and really catches the eye. Balanced body shape well angulated front. Correct moderate neck. Deep chest with spring of rib, short strong back. Ultra feminine head contains correct stop, small black nose and tight lips, dark expressive eyes, small erect ears, set high and used to advantage. On the move she held a secure, level topline, tail carried well and was accurate in all directions. Later I was told she was recently titled and I was not surprised.

2. Gibson’s Ch Charney Mejiro. D. 11 years and in fabulous condition. Overall a most impressive dog. Masculine throughout. Balanced head containing dark eyes, neat well set ears and correct finish. Good for reach of neck, ribbing and tail set. On the move he demonstrated a super forehand reach from with well-laid shoulders. High tail set. Good feet. Sound on the move and a worthy champion.

3. Gibson’s Stairend Roxstar At Kaiaki
