Thank you to the committee for my invitation to judge their Utility and Working groups. I really enjoyed my day along with their brilliant hospitality. Special thanks to my stewards Wyn Howells, and Janette Cole for keeping everything running so smoothly. I was pleased with the overall quality of exhibits in my classes. One thing that kept popping up throughout the day across various breeds was dirty teeth, in some cases very dirty teeth. I intentionally haven’t included this in the individual critiques but hopefully, having mentioned it here, it may bring it to the attention of the relevant owners so that they can do something about it.

Boston Terrier

Junior D/B – 2 entries

1st Dalenamag King Of Clubs (Bundy) 8-month-old dog with a lovely compact outline. Masculine but in no way overdone, square in head, good eye shape and dark in colour, good ear set and carriage. Enough neck, good shoulder, good depth of chest, level topline, correct tail set, good angles, moves well with a lovely side gait. Best of Breed, Best Puppy, Utility Puppy group 2

2nd Ringablock Diamond Star (Connor) 2 yr. old dog, pleasing in outline, balanced masculine head of, good eye, good ear, strong neck, good shoulder, straight front, good depth of chest, moderate tuck moved ok.

2nd Hazembulls Funy Ace (Crothers) 9-month-old bitch of similar quality to 1 just preferred the overall balance of the winner. Pleasing head with good width in front. Well placed shoulder moved ok
