1. Metcalf’s Koczkodan Well I Never. 8 mth old tricolour dog who was pleasing to go over. Balanced in outline with neck of good length, firm topline, ribbed well back and tail good for set and carriage. Masculine head of good proportions and planes, very good eye and ear and strong underjaw. He stands true in front on good feet. When gaiting he paced at times but otherwise moved freely with nice length of stride. Best Puppy.

2. Acford’s Coneypark Mattie Brown. Sable dog approaching 7 mths who also has plenty to like. Nicely balanced with well arched neck, level back, rib developing well and firm loin. Balanced headpiece with good eye and ear and desired slight stop but not quite underjaw of winner. Standing well naturally on good feet. Moves well on the down and back and goes pretty well on the go around, although winner did have the edge.

1. Sewell’s Wynele Strike It Rich to Lewarne JW. 15 mth tricolour dog. This boy appealed for overall type and balance, carries just the right amount of bone and looks like he could do a days work. Well arched neck of correct length to balance, level back, excellent ribbing, firm loin and tail good for set and carriage. Most attractive head with masculine expression, yet free from any suggestion of coarseness; super eye and ear and strong underjaw. Good angles front and rear, straight forelegs, super forechest and stands on good feet. Moves out well with good length of stride. Very well handled. BOB.

1. Seager’s Blamorder Magic Marker with Freejack JW. The two challenging here couldn’t be more different to each other. My winner was this 16 mth old sable dog. Up to size but balanced with good neck, firm topline with slight arch over the loin, deep brisket and tail set and carried correctly. Head of good proportions and planes with masculine expression; good eyes, ears and dentition. He stands true in front but would like to see a little more turn of stifle. However, he moved freely with good carriage.

2. Fort’s Shulune Imperial Inkspell. 20 mth blue merle bitch. This girl carried the correct amount of bone and pleased for neck, topline, ribbing and tail set/carriage. Good skull to muzzle proportions, parallel planes, expressive eyes and good underjaw. She stands true in front on pretty good feet but has a little more bend of stifle than preferred. Moves well on the go around but not quite rear action of winner and carrying a little more white than I prefer to see. Very well handled.

1. Howard’s Brackenhaye Heartbreaker at Shandlmain. Quite a varied class which saw this 4 yr old tricolour bitch come out on top. She appealed for type, carries correct bone and presented a nicely balanced outline with arched neck, correct topline, excellent ribbing, muscular loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Feminine head with flat skull, muzzle proportionate in length, expressive eyes and good underjaw. Pleasing angles front and rear, standing true in front on good feet and for me, she had the best profile action in the class. Reserve BOB.

2. Jerrett’s Coldlee Eternal Sunshine JW. 22 mth old sable bitch who is quite different to the winner and a little more refined. She pleased in outline with nicely arched neck of good length to balance, level back, deep chest, firm loin and tail of good set and carriage. Quality head and expression; well proportioned, correct stop, good planes and very good eye and ear. She stands well naturally and has good feet. Moves freely on the down and back but winner had the edge on the go around. Good coat texture.

3. Wensley’s Constella Hazy Cosmic Jive JW
