1. Rees & Jones’ Kierpark Love Me Do. 7 mth brindle/white trim bitch. Feminine youngster who greatly appealed. Only a baby but full of potential and with lovely curves. I thought her a good type, so well balanced and she was good to go over. Attractive, well proportioned head with super eye and ear. Soundly constructed with good angles front and rear and stands well naturally. Moving freely and scored in profile action in this class. BOB & Best Puppy. I understand she later took PG3.
2. Perkins’ Silkridge Rapture with Zeglynn. 8 mth brindle/white trim dog. I wouldn’t want this lad any bigger but he pleased for type and presented a good outline with nicely arched neck, correct topline and good tail for both set and carriage. Masculine head of good proportions and excellent eye and ear. Moving true when going away but not quite as good in front as winner. Well handled.
3. Burnett’s Valley Lad
PGD/B (5,2)
1. Kirby & Mansfield’s Collooney Black Tartan at Shingwidsi. 3 yr old black/white trim dog. Balanced boy who pleased in outline with elegantly arched neck, deep brisket, arch over the loin leading to tail of correct set and carriage. Well proportioned head with expressive eyes of correct placement, rose-shaped ears and slight stop. Standing well naturally on good feet and moved well on the go around. Reserve BOB.
2. Heaton’s Riverroots Fields of Gold. 2 yr old fawn/white trim bitch. Apparently at her first show and same for handler too. Both need a little more experience to make the most of themselves in the ring but this girl appealed for type, is feminine all through and presented a lovely flowing outline. Quality head with delightful expression; oval-shaped eyes of good colour and placement, correct ears and dentition. Moves true fore and aft but just good have been moved out with a tad more pace.
3. Perkins’ Zeglynn Hello You

2. Perkins’ Southgrove Keep It Moving at Zeglynn. 4 yr old fawn dog. Pleasing size with good length of neck but not quite the flowing outline of winner. Nicely proportioned head with slight stop, expressive eyes, rose-shaped ears and scissor bite. He stands nice and straight in front but could extend a little more on the go around. Muscular hindquarters. Very well handled.

OD/B (4,3)
1. Williams’ Tinland Pink Sapphire, 5 yr old bitch. Feminine all through. Moderate length of neck, pretty good topline, ribbed well back and tail of good set and carriage. 1. Jones & Charles’ Charlons Nostalgic. 19 mth old dark brindle bitch. This girl greatly appealed for type, presented a well balanced outline and was good to go over. Feminine head of good proportions with good eye and ear and distinct stop. Good angles front and rear and moved freely all through with good drive from the rear. Reserve BOB.
2. Maddy’s Kiydwyn Our Meeka Moo. 7 mth brindle bitch. Only a baby but she has plenty to like. Clean neck of good length to balance, correct topline, ribbed well back and short loin. Feminine headpiece with delightful expression; dark eyes of good size, colour and placement and ears set on wide apart. Super front and stands on excellent feet. Moves true on the down and back and although went well on the go around could not quite match profile action of 1. Best Puppy and PG2.

1. Jones & Charles’ Charlons Viva La Diva. 19 mth old dark brindle bitch who turned out to be the litter sister to the winner of the previous class. They are certainly of a type and this girl ticked all the boxes for me. She presented a super outline with clean, elegantly arched neck, good depth to brisket, correct topline, nice short loin and tail good for both set and carriage. Most attractive head; well proportioned with excellent eye and ear, distinct stop and broad, deep muzzle. Excellent stride on the go around and using herself as she goes. BOB. Didn’t quite go as well in the group as I’d hoped so had to settle for Group 2.
2. Jones & Charles’ Charlons Perseus. 5 yr old brindle dog who took a while to settle with an unfamiliar handler. Carrying good bone and masculine throughout. Muscular neck of good length to balance, straight topline with slight slope, well developed rib and short loin. Pleasing head with good proportions, expressive eyes, correct stop and powerful muzzle. Stands straight in front with well developed forechest. Not easy to assess movement but eventually settled enough to see him cover the ground well on the go around.

1. Morris’ Cwnhapus Innoko JW ShCEx OSW. 5 yr old dog. A tad heavier for my preference but he’s soundly built all through and presented a nicely balanced outline with moderate length of neck, firm topline, pleasing rib and good tail for set and carriage. Masculine head of good proportions, expressive eyes and well furred ears set on high. He stands nice and straight in front and was shown here to advantage. BOB and Group 4.
2. Stimpson’s Cwnhapus Scirocco avec Adellarz. This 4 yr old bitch is another who is soundly constructed and she has lots to like, however I would like a touch more length of leg. Arched neck, firm topline, good length to ribcage and tail of good carriage. Well proportioned head with feminine expression, almond-shaped eyes and scissor bite. Moves out freely.
