Irish Terrier - Thomas Davison

I would like to thank the society for the invite to judge the Irish Terriers at their show and thank you to the exhibitors for entering and trusting me to go over their Dogs. I really enjoyed my day. 

Puppy (2:1) 

1st Eata the Great with Brazan - 8 month old bitch with a strong skull, narrow between ears, good ear set correctly with correct carriage near the cheek, nice small eye, good scissor Bite. Nice neck leading to well laid shoulders, straight Pasterns, nice deep chest, loin strong with slight arch, strong hindquarters, correct angulation which she used to move herself around the ring with confidence, in good coat. 

Junior (3:1) 

1st Montelle Flash Light for Lionwood - 12 month old, lovely head, good V Ear with correct carriage, small eye, scissor bite, strong neck leading well laid shoulders, deep chest, well sprung rib, strong hind quarters with correct angulation which he used to power himself around the ring with confidence. 

2nd Blarney Hotcross Bun - 15mth old dog, nice head, with nice small eye, scissor bite, nice neck leading to well laid shoulders , deep chest, well sprung rib, short coupled, strong hind quarters with correct angulation which he used to move with drive, preferred the overall balance of 1st today

Open (5:1) 

1st Ch Pinleygreen Irish Star for Montelle - one that catches your eye when she enters the ring. 15th month old Bitch with a strong head, correct ear shape and carriage, small eye, pleasing nose and scissor bite, lovely neck leading to well laid back shoulders, nice deep chest well sprung Rib, nice loin with slight arch, strong hindquarters with correct angulation which she used to propel herself with confidence around the ring. In excellent coat. I was happy to give her Best of Breed. 

2nd Holbam Celtic Rosé (AI) JW - Another one that catches your eye and unlucky to have come against 1st today. 2 year old bitch in excellent condition, nice head, small eye, good nose and scissor bite, good neck leading well laid shoulder, deep chest with well sprung rib’s, strong hindquarters with good rear angulation, moved with confidence, in excellent coat.
