 AV Puppy Stakes (21, 6a)

1. Davies’ Kooikerhondje Twybrook Barenhauter

Excellent character on this 7 month old puppy Well balanced outline, beautiful head and alert expression. Stop clearly defined, deep brown, almond shaped eye. Ears well used and size balanced to head. Very well muscled for such a young dog. Good angles fore and aft. Tidy feet. Very enthusiastic on the move, infect I would like to see the handler build the speed up gradually rather than so much speed from standing This will help find that perfect balance of energy and gait as he moves very true once settled. One to watch!

2. Reed’s Cuffnall’s Sweet Dreams

 A very nice Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla of 10 months. A really nice female who placed highly for her overall balance a type. She was of good size with moderate bone and angles. Strong level back held well on the move. Slight slope to pastern. I was very impressed with her muscle tone and her movement She had a very expressive and excitable expression She covered the ground well with strong rear drive Another really nice youngster.

AV Junior Valentine Stakes (12, 5a)

1. Bull and Warren’s Jolerob One Way of Puttin’ It at Starferry.

15 month old Shar Pei that I have judged before Its so nice to see a pup you have judged previously showing the promise you saw in as a young girl. Good headpiece with broad, flat top. Moderate wrinkle, large nostrils with very good pigment. Dark eyes, small well set ears Correct angles High set tail and Harsh coat She was of good size and she moved really well Free and balanced at a good trot .

2. Lawes and Doggrell’s Mysticwolf Shining Star over Wintersleigh.

At almost 15 months this young girl gave her everything today. She had the most delightful foxy expression with a little hint of cheeky behind them. Almond shaped, obliquely set eyes Very good pigment Keen expression. High set ears used well Close fitting lips. She has moderate angulation and is balanced and when her handler let her step back a little this shows her off to her advantage. Bone in proportion to size She covered the ground so well especially on this difficult surface with a quick brisk action. Very light on her feet. Topline held well on the move Excellent muscle tone.

A very strong class with some super dogs in it Thank you everyone.

1.Wilkinsons Rainster Eilex Among Hunacres

2 year old Irish Wolfhound female of good size, substance and balance. Lovely head proportions and a very kind expression. Deep chest excellent bone coat and feet. Absolutely faultless on the move. Really eye-catching.

2. Bull and Warren’s Zaralee I’m Still Standing at Starferry ( Imp Ire )

Another who showed good balance and proportion in outline. Very nice headpiece and expression. Coat of correct, harsh, texture. Moved well in all directions.

AV Veteran (14, 5a)

Some classy veterans here today What a joy to go over them all.

1. Kiely’s Gunfield Phantom.

At almost 8 years this “young” Hungarian Vizsla put on a faultless performance. Masculine dog with very well-balanced proportions. Well refined head with super expression. Balanced picture on the stand and on the move. Good depth to chest well sprung rib and moderate angles. Tidy feet. He was indeed graceful and elegant on the move whilst covering the ground well with ease. Well muscled and toned all through Just a good honest dog with a super temperament. Thrilled to see him awarded RBIS Well deserved.

2. Johnsons Sensation Vom Tespelkooi of Valleyrise VW (imp DEU )

Another fabulous Kooikerhondje here of almost 9 years. A super example of the breed showing no signs of age at all. Beautiful head and expression Excellent angles. Well laid shoulder Good bone in proportion to size. Good coat texture and feathering She was very biddable, observant, and enthusiastic and another who put in a super performance especially on the move.

Just shy of 2 years this young chap is maturing well. Super head and expression Correct coat texture. Strong, solid, and well muscled with moderate angulation Very nice under hand. Well boned for size and nice feet. Covered the ground with ease. Superbly handled.
