Aberystwyth & District CS 6th October 2024 Many thanks to the committee for the judging invite , I very much enjoyed my day . Quality dogs to judge . Loved my Terrier group winner who was pushed all the way by the Staffordshire Bull Terrier . Stakes classes were hotly contested. Tibetan Spaniel Graduate 1st Rice, Ricox I Love My Mini Me JW 2yr old bitch , nicely balanced and full of breed type , head of good size , carried proudly on the move . Well made,correct front , Harefoot and correct silky coat. She won best of breed against the open winner , I loved her on the move with her richly plumed tail carried over back . So sound and positive. 2nd Perfitt , Richearon All about Audrey Of Hishki, not quite the balance of 1st , shown in excellent coat of silky texture. Move very soundly just a little wide behind. 3rd Beasley, Marlyoak Heart Full Of Love Open 1st Rice , Ch Ricox Somebody To Love JW ShCMSHCEX What a super example of the breed, full of type. What a show girl . She is well made all through , best of heads with lovely expression . Lovely plume of tail and moved straight and correct. Pleasure to judge her. RBOB 2nd Rice, Parloueve Back To Black Of Ricox, another of the type that caught my eye, smallish head and oval eye. Short in neck and well laid shoulders. Not quite as tidy on the move but has potential. 3rd Beasley , Marlyoak Lost In The Shadows Australian Terriers Graduate 1st Jones, Wyeafon Pepperoncini Only 8 months , presented well , starting to show a good coat. Longish body, head long with flat skull , straight front and good width to rear quarters. Movement was positive, straight front , just needs to strength in rear but only a puppy. BP Open 1st Jones, Ch Blue Blake Von Den Grauen is At Wyeafon ( Imp NLD) shown in harsh jacket , head of good type , dark eye with keen expression , long in comparison to height. Movement true and parallel . Smart dog. BOB Grp 3 Border Terrier Open 1st Lowe & Miles Ch Rockslade Russian Roulette JW Very smart bitch , nothing overdone , head of excellent type , strength in muzzle , small well set ears , straight front . Ribbed well back , easily spanned with thick loose pelt, well angulated ,racy hindquarters Sound on the move with well set and carried carrot tail, moved very true & straight with purpose. Dense coat of harsh texture. Loved her, BOB & Grp 1 2nd Greenway, Foxchapel Perfect Day With Foxcourt , good typy ,male , moderate all through , short muzzle , straight front , width to rear quarters , spanned easily with thick loose pelt, shown in harsh coat . Not as positive on the up and back. 3rd Phillips Rockslade Romeo’s Revenge Scottish Terrier Graduate 1st Norton, Divadell Mighty Quinn 10 months strong masculine dog , straight front , big ribs , short in back , straight topline. Longish head , dark eyes with kind expression, pointed small ears , moved out okay and gained in confidence on the around. Open 1st Norton , Divadell’s Charging Bear , all male , strongly built , rounded ribs , short , level back , rear quarters well muscled and wide through buttocks . Moved with tail up and straight with plenty drive , correct double coat, dense and wiry. BOB 2nd Norton , Divadell Harleyquinn, bitch puppy with lovely temperament , loved her character, well balanced , head in proportion to body. Moderate length of neck , long sloping shoulders. Rear quarters strong. Just needs time to come together on the move. 3rd Miller , Milleryj & Hoare, Glenaffric Hidden Magic Sealyham Terrier 1st Ashley Smith , Zippor Skye Fawkes , 11 months male puppy , good length to muzzle , slightly domed skull , longish neck , chest well let down , well sprung ribs . Just needs to grown in confidence on the move to be a tad more positive behind. Open 1st Challenger Rowanrae Dream Come True , mature male, domed skull with enough width, very much scored in front assembly , good forechest and well let down , short legs , straight front , well sprung ribs , moved well of his muscular rear quarters , covering ground well . BOB 2nd Ashley Smith , Zippor Skye Fawkes , repeat of previous class Skye Terrier Graduate 1st Gracie, Celebros Berylla, good body proportions, with correct body to leg length , head typical of breed and kind expression, not as outgoing as you would like on the move but did enough on the move . Open 1st Grainger , Back Cuillins Catriona JW ( Imp Deu) , 2yr bitch , super on the stack , long and low , large ears , longish muzzle , dark eyes with bright expression. Long with slight crested neck , strong rear quarters. Good on the move , showing active and efficient paces. BOB Fox Terrier Graduate 1st Berrigan & Kesterton , Tamedale Figaro , male , head , skull flat , longish muzzle, dark eyes with keen expression. Small folded ears , standing rather untidy in front which shows in his movement. Rear quarters well developed, on the move showed brisk action. BOB Staffordshire Bull Terrier Graduate 1st Connor , Ringablok Lady In Black Litter sisters , both of similar type, short muzzled , compact in body . Well sprung ribs , wide in front , would like a bit more strength in rear quarters , moved with purpose and showed a good stride. 2nd Sheldon, Ringablok Chuckles , Similar but not as compact in body and not as positive in the move . Still has time to mature. Open 1st Mayers , Maynestaff The Girl Is Mine JW Smart , quality bitch , powerful and typy in outline and balance . Head compact , deep , well developed cheeks , short muscular neck , front straight and wide , short coupled in body with well sprung ribs, powerful striding with parallel movement. Shown in excellent condition. BOB and Grp 2. 2nd Mayes , Maynestaff Smooth Criminal JW very much the male version of above , similar comments but just totally masculine in head and expression. Another is super condition, just pipped to 1st on movement today. RBOB 3rd Sheldon!Ringablok Huckleberry Welsh Terrier Open 1st Williams , Cwmcoch Pollypocket, mature bitch of good type , harsh coat , flat skull , v shaped ears , small dark eyes keen expression . Long sloping shoulders , rear moderate , hocks well let down . Straight parallel movement, smart bitch. BOB Grp 4 West Highland Terrier Graduate 1st Protheroe,Can You Feel The Love Tonight , liked her shape and balance , head typy,slightly domed skull , distinct stop ,dark eyes with good expression. Small erect ears , she was a bit of a character on the moved but used her wide hindquarters to move showing drive . Coat was okay , harsh outer coat. Open , only 14 months bitch , feminine head with kind expression, good strength in muzzle , small erect ears , good shoulder placement and width to rear quarters . Moved with drive , coat and skin not so good. 1st Protheroe, Maxmadadh Midsummers Meadow AVNSC Terrier Open 1st barrow , Kinsridge Pink Diamond , Norfolk Mature , head of good type , dropped ears , compact , short back with level topline .Round feet with good pads Shown in harsh coat . Just showing his age on the move . Veteran 1st Foxcourt Amber Spirit Gambler Very smart veteran border , nothing overdone , liked his head , soft expression, easy span . Harsh coat and moved true . Shown in beautiful condition but it was his movement that won him this super class , precise footfall. 2nd Kocho Primrose Promise, really fell for this stunning Pekingese, loved her head , so typy and feminine, good pigment and super expressive eyes, body short, well sprung ribs , so typical with her rolling gate and so very sound. Another shown and presented so well . 3rd Zinarte Amarula At Rhosynda Graduate Stakes 1st Green Pearl Uniquely Barracechi, lovely Newfoundland, full of substance & just the right size , not too short on leg , pretty feminine head , large feet and moved well round the ring , good body condition and super coat and presentation. 2nd Ryazan Ulrik At Cherdonski very elegant borzoi, long muzzle , small ears and soft expression , gentle rise over loin and tuck up correct. Moved with grace and spring to his step 3rd Bodlon Rumour Has It , Open Stakes 1st Llepac against All Odds , upstanding dog , shown in the best muscular condition , typy head , longish and skull flat , good depth to muzzle. Well laid shoulders and corresponding upper arm . Well developed hindquarters , arched compact feet . Moved well in the large ring covering the ground. 2nd Tamlaikers Pikachu Good for size and type , head typical , kind expression . Shoulders well placed m excellent muscular condition. Should in movement, very correct . Coat good texture with white markings. 3rd Ch Laakso Canute Veteran Stakes 1st ShCh Isfryn Spot The DifferenceVW, WSS , showing so well for a veteran , super condition. Head slightly domed, chiselling showing below eyes , longish neck , set well into shoulders. Muscular rear quarters. A pleasure to judge. 2nd Layways Now And Forever , very smart Whippet, head typy with feminine expression, long shoulder blades well set back. Gentle rise over loin and corresponding underline, moved with correct daisy cutting action. 3rd Sh Ch Afonbach Winter Is Coming JW Vintage Veteran Stakes 1st Sevarna Catalonias Angel , Catalan Sheepdog , 11 years old and in good body condition, moved very well . Such a soulful expression , moderate angulations fire and aft. nothing overdone. Vulnerable Breed Stake Smashing class , full of quality 1st Stephen’s , Brightmeadow Rumour Has It Quality dog all through ,strong and upstanding. The best of heads and shown in super coat and body condition. Well laid , muscular shoulders , deep chest with moderate rear quarters . His foot perfect movement won this extremely competitive class. 2nd Martin, Sturtmoor Arceus’s Legacy JW, smooth collie , who was a close 2nd , loved him , full of type , good length to muzzle with kind express, very clean unexaggerated outline , so very correct on the move . Super dog to judges 3rd Nyliram The Alibi For Trebettyn, another lovely dog . Members Stakes 1st Llepac against All Odds , Repeat 2nd Alolfrana Whole Lotta Love With Redesshka, racy bitch , feminine head , gentle sloping topline . Shown in good silky coat , moved steadily with good tail action . 3rd Cwmcoch Polly Pocket Brace 1st Quantisation;Deerhound Loved them , what a super team in total unison. Movement was so typical of breed 2nd Timashaw Platinum Dragon Dachshund , close up and worked as a team 3rd Kidenoan Mark That Bird WSS Tania Gardner ( Danwish )
