Thank you for the invite to judge at your premier open show. What a fabulous show , well organised , and super atmosphere around the rings, which were of good size to move the dogs. It was a warm day but all the dogs coped well.

Many thanks to Claire and Ness for stewarding for me. I had some lovely dogs to go over and some decisions were tight on the day. Many thanks to all the exhibitors for bringing their dogs to be judged by myself.

Alaskan Malamute

Puppy

1st Okinastar Destiny Calling At Coldasice.

Puppy bitch ,a promising puppy ,who carries enough bone and substance, she has a nice balanced outline for her age , moderate angles front and rear. Good length of neck and chest whilst still developing should finish well . Head typy with dark eye . She was presented in good coat and muscular condition. Once settled on the move she showed reach and drive carrying her tail correctly with good plume. BOB & BPIB

2nd Chayo Unlock The Power . Male puppy who is still very raw ,broad masculine head , dark eye , small triangle ears ,straight front , decent spring of rib, he has plenty of bone an and substance. Not as steady on the move but he was feeling the heat as a heavily coated male. RBOB 

Clumber Spaniel

Puppy

1st Tweedsmuir Moonflower, happy little girl , square head , deep stop , kind expression. Sloping shoulders, Long in back, deep chest ,needs to tighten up in elbows. She moved well , straight on the up and down . Just needs to strength in rear pasterns. Shown in good coat of silky condition. BPIB

Yearling.

1st Bebecova Quicksilver, Young male, masculine, square head with good stop . Strong neck , sloping shoulders, tending to drop his topline on the stack but better when he moved . Just needs time to mature,

Limit

1st Maursett Melwyn , strong male, presents a good outline , large square head with masculine expression. Large ears, strong neck . Moderate angles front and rear . Abundance of coat of silky texture . Moved okay , good in rear pasterns and and showed a decent length of stride. BOB

English Setter

Sp Yearling

1st Nellasett Velvet Brown ,Tri bitch, elegant outline stood , she has a very pretty head and kind expression. Good reach of neck , straight front and well placed shoulders , level topline and hind quarters well angulated . Tail set good and she carried her tail correctly, movement was sound and true , I would have liked to see a little more enthusiasm but a nice young bitch . RBOB

2nd Hydeparker Birdy Willow , Orange belton bitch , not as mature as 1st, balanced moderate angulations fore / aft . Pleasing head but still needs time to develop.. Stood on tight feet . She moved well once settled, carrying and using her tail well .

Limit

1st Teasmade Summer Evening(IMP SWE ) , this bitch has a beautiful head , so pretty with raised brows , well set ears . Good reach of neck , enough fore chest , level topline and good rear quarters , stifles well let down . She moved okay but just could do with dropping a little weight . Correct coat of silky texture.

1st Goldbirch Hearts Desire JW , beautiful, elegant tri bitch ,very pretty in head with good finish to muzzle she is very pleasing to the eye . Lovely outline with level topline , super shoulders and good return of upper arm , well ribbed back , hindquarters are well muscled and she has strength in her hocks , she was a picture on the move , head held high , moved with style and a lashing tail . Presented in super coat of silky texture . Very much liked this girl . BOB

Bracco Italiano

A breed I enjoy judging but find them a challenge as type varies greatly.

1st Piccorino Praise Me , what a delightful puppy , full of joie de vivre, she was very feminine but strong in bone and good in pasterns . Head obviously needs time to develop but slight Roman nose and good proportions. Body was balanced , good width to second thigh . She was full of enthusiasm on the move but once she settles she should show a good stride . BP

1st Canemamans Primo Al Fine JW

Masculine, strong, orange roan dog , liked him stood in profile , almost square, head angular , cheeks lean, slight stop and clean finish to muzzle , strong well rounded neck . Long shoulders well laid back , straight front , legs of oval bone , good width through loin and slightly arched hind quarters , I preferred his strength through rear pasterns to 2nd place dog today. Moved with head raised, showing the desired extended trot. RBOB

2nd Bushwacker Dangerous Dave At Canemamans JW , orange roan dog very close up to 1st lean, angular head of good proportions , muzzle deep and slightly arched, side on showing divergence of skull and muzzle . Loved his large spongey nose. Short rounded neck and and excellent front , broad forechest , well sprung ribs , good angulations fore/aft , moved with purpose and good side gate , just not as clean in rear pasterns today.

1st Sh Ch Valcor The Confessor At Canemamans JW, White / Orange masculine dog , almost square in outline , angular head , pronounced occiput and slight stop , divergent planes, short ,strong ,round neck , straight front , stands on legs of oval bone , sloping pasterns and decent feet . Broad chest reaching elbows , correct topline with slight rise of loin , muscular hind quarters . His movement won him the class and BOB , he had the desired extended fast trot , driving from rear pasterns and head held high . BOB , Gundog group one and ultimately BIS . Many congratulations.

2nd Jack Di Montericco ( Imp It ) liked him for type a fully mature male , with typy head , lean through cheeks , deep slightly arched muzzle , short neck , good strong front , long shoulders well laid back , strong short back , wide slightly arched loin . Hind quarters of good strength and well muscled . Just moved a tad wide in front today but good side profile gait , covering the ground.

Sp Yearling

1st Haywire Texana Vadasz , 14 month male , typy male with masculine head, moderately broad skull with soft expression, face furnishings developing. Balanced angles fore/aft not overdone at all . A moderate dog with a decent coat coming through . Very sound on the move showing reach and drive. Should end up a nice type.

Limit

1st Zoltarous Wasabi For Dhalascar

Moderate dog without any exaggeration, good typy head with masculine expression , good finish to muzzle .well muscled neck sitting into shoulders with decent layback. Slightly longer in body than height , would like a little more forechest , moderate angulations and hocks well let down . Harsh wire jacket with good face furnishings Okay on the move .

1st Sh Ch Tragus Honeybee JW , mature bitch , who is moderate all through , balanced angulations fore/aft , well muscled neck not too long , slightly longer in body to height . Head well furnished and feminine expression , correct harsh coat . She moved well . Good reach and drive from rear quarters . BOB

Sp Yearling

1st Nyliram The Alibi For Trebettyn JW, what a smart young dog , very typy in outline stood , not at all leggy . Slightly domed skull with enough stop , gentle expression . Long muscular neck , well laid shoulders , slightly arched loin , good width to strong rear well angulated rear quarters. Moved with drive . Shown in lovely coat of silky texture. I was taken with this young man and I would think he has a bright future. Delighted to award him BOB.

2nd Ferndal Renzon At Rovinjdal. , just out of puppy and giving away a lot in maturity , head of good type , with good expression. Good length of neck. Shoulders well set , strength in rear quarters just needs to drop into stifles , moved steady.

3rd Glenbrows Erasmus For Gilpeta

 Limit

1st Julita Raindance At Teaselwood , nice type , she was totally feminine, slightly domed head , enough stop and sweet expression. Longish neck and well made front , arched long and well angulated rear quarters, firm cat like feet . She moved well , covered ground with good rear action.

2nd Mymmsbrook Matador With Blythway JW, very well presented dog , looked a picture on the stack and had good head , balanced fore / aft . Wide loin with slight arch . He had very good reach in front, just moved slightly close behind today.

1st Sh Ch Isfryn Spot The difference Trebettyn JW , super veteran dog , so well constructed and in super muscular condition. Head full of type and gentle expression. He moved very well and covered the ground easily , showing plenty of drive . I liked him very much . RBOB

2nd Glenbrows Marquis, presented a good outline on stack , maybe a tad longer in ribs but balanced angles fore/aft . Good front construction , tidy feet and moved steady but true .

Really lovely class to judge full of quality dogs . Thank you for staying and allowing me to judge your dogs .

1st Tenshilling It’s My Party For Salmonmist JW OSW ShCEx very smart male O/W pointer , full of quality and shown is excellent muscular condition . Typy masculine head but not overdone , kind expression , his topline flowed from nose to tail , no lumps or bumps , he has a good reach of neck , strong muscular , curvy rear quarters and on the move he held his shape really well and powered round the ring and ultimately to 1st in this super stakes class.

2nd Kidaruka It’s Showtime At Oxania JW ShCEx OSW , smart whippet , liked this male a lot for type and size , lovely curvy topline and width to rear quarters . Balanced angles fore / aft . Headlong and lean , slight stop , bright eyes with kind expression. Super freedom in his stride long easy stride and hind legs well under him driving him forward.

3rd Layoli Path Finding Magic , smart TT male , quality dog shown in super condition and moved out well .
