A pleasure to judge for this society ,a well organised show , good size rings . Many thanks to the exhibitors for you entry . It was a pleasure to judge your dogs . Thank you to my steward who kept my ringing moving efficiently . Sadly the Golden Retriever entry was affected by a Championship Show being held close by , thank you to the exhibitors who gave me an entry.

Lagotto Romagnolo

Class Puppy (2,0)

Two super litter sisters

1st Norbury & Adkins-Fry , Bedeslea Pradasphere. Just 6 months and what a little poppet, robust and squarely built , loved her head and expression, good nose and wide nostrils , correct front , elbows close , compact body with enough rear angulations. She moved very well for one so young. Lovely coat coming through , curls evenly distributed over body . BPIB

2nd Bishop , Bedeslea Prada Linea Rosa, similar comments apply , little more rangier at the moment , straight front , straight topline , smallish strong feet , moved well showing drive , another good coat coming through.

Junior (2,1 )

1st Bell. Il Granaio Del Malatesta , rustic and compact bitch , really liked her head , strong wedge shaped muzzle , good nostrils , good depth of chest , close at elbows. Coat of even curls . She stood on good feet. She moved well showing typical movement with drive from well muscled rear quarters RBOB

Open

1st Bell , Il Granalo Del Malatesta Dick Dastardly Of Pendlebrier ( Imp ITA ) , nice sized , typey male , rustic in appearance, head with correct planes , wedge , strong muzzle with open nostrils. Larger round eye , shortish neck , front not too wide but good depth to chest , short loin , good width to croup . Rear quarters muscular and enough angulations. Coat of thick, even curls , good undercoat . Super on the move, easy stride with drive from rear quarters . Very smart dog. BOB

Large Munsterlander

Class Puppy (1)

1st Darby , Crumpsbrook Anneke To Incadar , very much at the leggy stage , head is pleasant , well set ears , good length to upper arm and shoulders long and set well back , chest needs to develop and drop . Moved easily on a long stride BPIB & RBOB

Class Post Graduate , (1)

1st Robins ,Tarkanya Ritas Ruby With Destanli, liked the head and expression on this bitch , typical of breed , rather square in outline , slightly wide in front stood but as chest drops this may help . Moved okay , rather proud of tail .

Class Open (1)

1st Ward , Sh Ch Braccpoint Song Of The Wind For Gemlorien , mature lady , head with dark eye and feminine expression, straight front , chest to elbows , ribbed well back , moderate rear angulations. Steady on the move BOB

Golden Retriever

Class Puppy Dog (3,1)

1st Wedge. Putjade Pit Stop At Riverscharm CNAF, smart young dog , lovely masculine head with softest expression, plenty of bone and substance but not overdone. Good width to 2nd thigh , hocks well let down. Round , well padded feet . Moved really well true front and rear .

2nd Smith -Betts , Restless Remedy Loyal Gold , different in type and not as mature as 1st . Pretty head with kind expression , good lay of shoulder , chest could be deeper but as he matures and develops it will come , shown in the best of musculature condition. Moved well with good tail action .

Class Puppy Bitch (2,1)

1st Hill , Drumkilty One Night Stand For Sandaula, pretty girl , quality puppy with substance , soft expression with good pigmentation. Best of fronts , good forechest and return of upper arm , well ribbed and correct croup and tail set . Moved really well holding her level topline . BPIB

Very much liked this girl as well , typey head with soft expression, good neck and well placed shoulders, deep through chest and good width to rear quarters , just dropped her topline when stood . Moved well with even stride.

3rd Russell- Bond , Rosinante Guinevere

1st Russell- Bond , Rosinante Guinevere , 3rd in previous class but it was a close decision behind her litter sister , this is another quality girl , super feminine head , balanced angulations front and rear , stifles well let down , she stood on good feet and moved steady but true and correct.

2nd Liggins & Hodge, Swanavly Popsy’s Legacy At Nunsbrook ( Imp SRB ) masculine male , dark eye and soft expression , good forechest and width to second thigh , shown in good coat and condition , moved a little close behind today.

Lovely masculine dog with great head and expression, good forechest and shoulder placement, strong rear quarters . Stifles well let down , padded feet . Moved really well , just a little proud of his tail .

Class Open Bitch (3, 2)

1st Pounds Longhurst , Mossburn Golly Miss Molly JW , I have done this girl well before and my opinion hasn’t changed , quality bitch of nice size , lovely head with soft expression. Balanced angulations front and rear with good width to second thigh and stifles well bent . She moves very well , easy stride holding her topline and carrying her tail correctly. BOB
