Rottweiler Club

The Rottweiler Club open show 06- Oct -24  Held at Woburn village Hall, Beds

Thank you to the committee for this appointment and to all the exhibitors for the privilege of going over your beautiful dogs. Thank  you for accepting my decisions with such good grace. Huge thanks to my fantastic steward - Sarah Morgan for keeping everything running smoothly. Thankfully the weather held enabling judging to take place outside – I much prefer grass for moving the dogs. The venue was good with plenty of room and parking.

All exhibits had outstanding temperaments, and all appeared to love their day out. I was so pleased to see so many correct tails and exhibits with substance! Heads were excellent and muzzle to skull ratios were good, breeders are working hard to make sure we are not producing the awful brachycephalic head type in the UK that we are seeing across some of Eastern Europe. We do need to keep an eye on proportions, our breed seems to be getting longer in the back and losing fore chest too.
