IRISH SETTER

P (3,1) 1. HOLEHAN LOGANRISH TIGER LILLY PEARL 7 month old bitch. Super feminine bitch full of quality. Lovely head piece, gorgeous front, a good middle piece, well let down hocks. Moderate throughout, moves well just to strengthen on the away. BP. 2 HOLEHAN LOGANRISH TIGER WARRIOR. 7 month old dog. Litter brother. Masculine head, little less cleaner in head and neck, and a bit looser in feet than winner. Good forechest and depth of rib cage. But shape in rear quarters is not as balanced as winner.

J (2,0) 1. SLOANE FERASHEEN HOT PROPER TEA JW. 18 month old dog. Masculine head, wins on overall movement. Bit more upright in front than winner, but better in the middle piece all through. BOB. 2. SLOANE FERASHEEN POP THE CHAMPERS. Litter sister to the winner. Feminine head, would like little more in foreface, good lay of shoulder. Nice forechest. Tendency to throw front left foot and leg on the move and not so fluid in profile movement as winner.

PG (6,1) 1. LEACH RIVERBRUE OPHELIA JUBBLY. 2 year old bitch. Not over done in head. Good feet. Good depth of chest and rib. Good back end. Best mover in the class. Bit better presentation would have been advantage in challenge. 2 SLOANE FERSAHEEN POP THE CHAMPERS. 3 COLE’S RIVERBRUE OPHELIA BOBBY.

O (1,0) 1 RICHARDSON’S GWENDARIFF TULLYS RED ARROWS. RBOB. 3 year old Dog. Masculine head. Good forechest, nice rib. Good lay of shoulders. Balanced fore and after, probably the most balanced overall of the day. Good topline on the move, tailset and carriage. Shown in good coat. Just a little off on the away and back in terms of his movement.

GERMAN SHORTHAIRED POINTER

P (1,0) 1. ADAM’S TEQUESTA POLDARK JW. 11 month old Dog. Masculine head, would like a tad more depth in the muzzle. Great forechest, love depth and middle piece. Rear quarters are well let down. RBOB. BP.

J (1,0) 1. RYMER’S SARSCOTTAH EASY RYDER AT ROLLENWOOD. 14 month. Lively male. Nice head, soft expression, dark eye. Would like a tad more forechest, good depth of rib. Bit loose behind on the away.

PG (4,2) 1. HALLAM’S REDIC SHIRAZ 3 year old Bitch. Carries herself well, good head, super forechest, lay of shoulder. Good balance fore and aft. Covers ground with ease, lovely dark eye.

O (3,1) 1. GARGET & MORRISS’S WINTERWELL EEH BY GUM WITH GARVIN. 3 year old dog. Super head and eye and expression. Lovely depth of forechest and rib. Good underline. Balance fore and after. Good on away and back, covers ground effortlessly. At first when examined on stack he looked a bit upright, but on the move he levels nicely and with ease. 2 BROWN & FILBY’S SH CH WINTERWELL THATLLDO FOR DESJIEM JW. A close second this bitch, and litter sister to my winner. She has the most appealing head and eye, she is well made in all sections, and covers ground well with ease, she carries a little more weight than the winner, and she could just do with a little more reach compared to her brother. But she is a quality bitch that I can easily appreciate how she has made her title. I loved her, and it was a consideration for RBOB.
