Wiveliscombe & District Canine Society

Many thanks to the Committee of Viveliscombe & Disctrict CS for the invitation to judge at this friendly show. The weather was glorious and it looked like the day was enjoyed by all the Exhibitors who did a great job keeping their dogs cool throughout the day. Many thanks to all who brought their lovely dogs under me.

Golden Retrievers

P (6 , 3a)

1. Scuffle’s & Ennis Van Maren’s Ramchaine A Red Red Rose

Lovely, promising puppy with very out going and friendly personality. Correct front assembly, good length of neck flowing into shoulders well laid back and a level top line, good spring of rib. She moved well despite the hot weather conditions. BP and I was pleased to find out she was later awarded Group 1.

2. Main’s Putjade Perrin By Gwyngala

Well-constructed gold puppy with a lovely head and correct stop. Good forechest, neat fitting elbows, cat like feet. Good spring of rib and a level top line leading into correct tailset. He didn’t move as well as the winner on the day, but not surprising given the hot weather.

J (3, 2a)

1. Porter’s Shearstone Janner

Mid golden boy with pleasing head. Firstly the movement of this dog is effortless which caught my eye immediately. He has a good length of neck, correct front assembly with close fitting elbows and good spring of rib, level top line (also on the move) leading into a correct tailset. He presented balance and is no doubt one to watch for the future.
