1. Evans’ Amerigo Della Terra Dei Fuochi at Makaevo (imp ITA). 6 month old male, good clean head, nice reach of neck, powerful shoulders, correct length to height proportions, good bone, good reach and drive in profile, very loose behind at this stage on the out and back but a lovely prospect and I was delighted to give him RBD & BPIS.

1. Delgaudio’s Makaevo Delgaudio. One year old male, again a good clean head, good reach of neck, well angulated shoulders, moderate bone for the size of dog, slightly flat feet, level top-line, I would prefer a little more turn of stifle but plenty of potential displayed in easy languid gait.

1. Evans’ Makaevo Tullio. 3 year old male, as much wrinkle over the foreface as I would like, good angulation fore and aft, correct bone, good feet, easy parallel gait.

OD 2(1)

1. Evans’ Makaevo Renato. A 4 year old male I have had the pleasure of judging before, correct head proportions, correct length of neck, strong top-line, excellent angulation front and rear, good bone, excellent ground covering gait, on the day he lacked some general conditioning which would certainly benefit him going forward, BD & RBIS.

OB 3(1)

1. Drake’s Elena (imp ESP). Just preferred the tidier out and back movement of 1 on the day, correct head, powerful neck and shoulders, good top-line, good bone, well angulated front and rear and sound on the move, BB & BIS.

2. Evans’ Makaevo Solista. Good overall proportions and nice angulation, impressive movement in profile, needs to tidy up on the out and back, RBB.
