THAME & OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY CS 17 JUL 24 I would like to thank the Thame and Oxfordshire committee very much indeed for the opportunity to judge at their show in particular Gretel Osborn, the Secretary and Show Manager Jeff Horswell who worked tirelessly all day. DACHSHUND (WIRE-HAIRED) P 2(1) 1. Sanders’ Knottsrose Olaf. 10 month old male, correct conical head, good length of neck, nice overall proportions, front yet to mature but good turn of stifle, easy parallel gait, RBOB & BP. SY 2(1) 1. Matthews’ Sonham Fire Cracker. Good dark eye, as much length of foreface as I would like, nice front, good shoulder, correct overall proportions, good turn of stifle, good reach and drive on the move. L 4(1) 1. Norman’s Silvae Trade Name. Although somewhat ill at ease, given a somewhat shaky table, I was attracted by his head, he has good overall balance, correct coat, balanced angulation and out-moved the class, BOB. 2. Akehurst’s Boloria All Spice. Not quite the shoulder of 1 but strong top-line, good turn of stifle and parallel on the move. 3. Matthews’ Sonham Fire Cracker. O 3(1) 1. Osbourne’s Derochaise Vincenzo Di Braego. Nice head, correct length of neck but too much length in the back relative to height at withers and carrying a lot of ‘condition’ on the day, moved with a brisk sound gait. 2. Brierley’s Bramalodge Bonfire Heart at Tatze. Nice feminine head, good front, level top-line but an exaggerated underline to the loin, balanced and sound on the move. BASSET GRIFFON VENDEEN (PETIT) P 3(0) 1. Robertson’s Soletrader Dolly Parton. Lovely head and expression, good length of leg, strong top-line and very impressive on the move with excellent reach and drive, a real show off and a great prospect, BOB & BP. 2. Osbourne’s Beaujons Wayne Sleep with Braego. A balanced puppy, moderate angulation front and rear, a consistent ground covering parallel gait. 3. Woods’ Beaujons Ginger Rogers. SY 3(0) 1. Cadmore’s Soletrader Splish Splash. Charming head and expression, good reach of shoulder matched by a good turn of stifle, good top-line and absolutely sound on the move. 2. Townsend’s Overbecks Esme Shelby at Roxastan. Sound bitch who has an excellent shoulder but is somewhat straight in the stifle, shown in good coat and condition. 3. Moore’s Probert Calypso. L 3(0) 1. Robertson’s Soletrader Sophia Loren. A youngster with good overall proportions, excellent angulation fore and aft, good top-line, good reach and drive on the move, RBOB. 2. Wood’s Beaujons Leading Lady JW. Nice bitch shown in full coat and condition but lacked the turn of stifle to compliment the shoulder. 3. Jay’s Tangaer Heulwen at Rushgrove. O 3(0) 1. Townsend’s Afterglow Curtain Call avec Roxastan. Just took the class on his reach and drive when viewed in profile, good overall proportions, shown in full coat, well handled and presented. 2. Moore’s Afterglow Dough Ble Impact. Good balance throughout and shown in good coat with a lot of condition. 3. Wood’s Beaujons Velvet. AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERD P 3(2) 1. Land/Gittins’ Birkcross Trying For The Top among Casmawllan. 9 month old male, good head and expression, correct bone, good overall proportions, level top-line, light footed efficient gait, nice prospect, BP. L 2(0) 1. White’s Franmar Devils Desire. Shown in full coat and condition, good masculine head, stood a little ’10 to 2ish’ but strong top-line and sound on the out and back. 2. Prihodova’s Ariana Reale Di Narnieland (imp CZE). A balanced bitch, moderately angulated fore and aft, good bone, nice top-line, well handled and presented. O 3(1) 1. Knott’s Shalako’s Come Hellr High Water (imp USA). Very nice red/white male, 4 years old, shown in excellent coat and condition, well angulated and balanced throughout, out-moved the competition, BOB. 2. Morley’s Trijem Three Times The Magic. Nice black and white tri, strong head, good bone, correct feet and pasterns, good angulation and a strong top-line, RBOB. COLLIE (ROUGH) P 1(0) 1. Primmer’s Xanthe Angel Silvestre at Colcanis (imp BEL). 6 month old puppy bitch, excellent disposition, shown in full coat and nice condition, good balance, nice parallel gait, very immature at this stage but a good prospect, BP. SY 3(2) 1. Farthing’s Didek Once In A Blue Moon. Super blue merle male, good head and expression, correct bone, good overall balance, parallel light footed gait. L 2(1) 1. Primmer’s Riverside Song Paloma Nera at Colcanis (imp ROM). A nice bitch, perhaps a touch long in the foreface but refined and balanced throughout, absolutely sound parallel gait, RBOB. O 3(2) 1. Farthing’s Aldreen Illusion In Blue for Didek. Nice blue merle bitch shown in full coat and excellent condition, moderately angulated fore and aft but absolutely balanced when viewed in profile with a strong top-line, BOB. LEONBERGER P 1(0) 1. Jackson’s Lunahai Like A Hurricane. 8 month old male, excellent proportions, balanced angulation, good feet and pasterns, easy ground covering gait, RBOB & BP. SY 2(0) 1. Simpson’s Simberger Perfect Blend. Good head and expression, a well balanced youngster, impressive on the move in profile but a little bit untidy on the out and back, BOB. 2. Heginbotham’s Sulandi Fallen Angel (IKC). As much back length as I would like, balanced angulation in the rear, again untidy in front on the out and back and might benefit from some additional condition. L 4(2) 1. Simpson’s Simberger Salata De Icre. Just preferred the rear drive and angulation of 1 on the day, good head, nice reach of neck, good top-line, nice coat and condition. 2. Heginbotham’s Hera Nasza Duma (imp POL). Good balance throughout although a little loose in front on the out and back, well handled and presented. YKC MEMBERS’ STAKES AV HOUND 3(1) 1. Ch. Tokaji Moon Over Miami with Mutoko JW ShCEx OSW. Very high standard and well presented Basenji, just taking the 1st place, 5 year old, absolutely sound on the move and very well handled and presented. 2. Cinder Surprise for Tiffdandax. A Miniature Smooth Dachshund, very well handled, good overall proportions but somewhat at a disadvantage as an immature puppy at this stage but a very good prospect. AV TERRIER 2(1) 1. Ch. Riplington See Your Dreams. Parson Russell Terrier shown in excellent condition, very well handled and presented and absolutely sound on the move. AV PASTORAL 4(3) 1. Sh Ch. Arrodare Royal Flush JW. A superb 5 year old Border Collie bitch I have given top honours in the past in the breed shown in perfect coat and condition, excellent angulation, an attractive feminine head and expression. AV TOY 2(1) 1. Juzandia Lady Bug. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Good head, well set shoulder, correct top-line, good croup, absolutely sound on the move. AV UTILITY 2(0) 1. Zenbarr Geoffrey. Lhasa Apso. Nice 3 year old, well angulated, again shown in excellent condition, moved with purpose and reach and drive, very impressive on the move. 2. Aprika Dallas. Boston Terrier, I think she was somewhat tired by the end of the day but she moved to advantage. AV GUNDOG 1. Jackobstown One Fine Day. Bracco Italiano. Absolutely super example of the breed, lovely head and expression, strong top-line and balanced angulation. 2. Cobhay Fancy Phlox. Spaniel (English Springer). Very well handled and presented, moderate angulation front and rear, shown in good coat and excellent condition. 3. Cobhay Heavenly Hydrangea. SPECIAL BEGINNERS Sikiaseff All Of Me at Kamiflo. Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Antiquarius Cilo JW. Poodle (Miniature). BIS​​Sladden’s Sh Ch. Valcor The Confessor at Canemamans JW. Bracco Italiano. This is a superb dog shown in excellent condition, still maturing and will tighten up even more as he develops but is shown in excellent condition on the day and moved with great reach and drive around the ring and is an absolute credit to his owner. RBIS​​Timms/Henderson’s Budbulls Maximum Impact for Olijah JW (imp SRB). French Bulldog. A youngster I have seen before and again this is a young bitch with an excellent future, very well handled and presented, perfect balance, moved to advantage on the out and back and was unlucky to come up against the Bracco on the day. BPIS​​Leech’s Mileoak Hubble Bubble. Gorgeous Newfoundland youngster who when viewed in profile had excellent angulation throughout, shown in full coat and good condition and just moved with an easy languid gait RBPIS​Holder/Boggia’s Boughton Back To The Future. Greyhound. An impressive youngster at this stage, very well put together, good reach of neck, well angulated front and rear and moved with an easy long gait around the arena. BVIS​​Reilly’s Ch/Swiss/Ir/Multi/Int Ch. Lisjovia Boris Bear at Darmaror JW ShCM ShCEx CW19. Pyrenean Mountain Dog. This is an Int Ch who I have given top honours on a number of previous occasions and he continues to be a superb example and ambassador to his breed and as always he was very well handled and presented and was a comfortable winner of BV. RBVIS ​Affenden/Wood’s Ch. Witchstone Minnehaha. ETT. Very well handled and presented, again a lovely example of the breed, absolutely sound on the move, good overall balance and proportions and will continue to be a credit to his breed for years to come. IMPORTED REGISTER BIS Standley’s Covehith Steam Boat Willy, Black and Tan Coonhound. Stilgoe’s Ir Sh Ch. Perdezcyo Beatriz with Teisgol. Portuguese Pointer. SIMON LUXMOORE
