Won the class with his tidier front movement on the out and back, nice head and expression, well angulated fore and aft, BP. 2. Mitchell/Wright’s Felinoak Fizz at Huntshill. Nice female, good length of leg, balanced angulation but a little bit wide in front on the out and back. O 6(0) 1. Mitchell/Wright’s Huntshill Usual Suspect. Balanced throughout and moved to advantage in the class, correct head, good top-line, easy efficient gait, BOB. 2. Anthony’s Ospreagle Jamaica Me Crazy. Nice 6 year old bitch, excellent shoulder, good top-line, didn’t put a foot wrong on the move. 3. Bidey’s Redcap The Courier JW. DACHSHUND (MINIATURE SMOOTH HAIRED) J 8(2) 1. Corfield’s Russetcopse’s Toffee Apple. Won the class on her overall proportions, good front, correct top-line, well set croup, quick light footed gait. 2. Forge’s Normpug Roman Holiday. Excellent on the move but as much length of loin as I would like, good head, nice prospect. 3. Kilroy’s Janacop Magic May. PG 3(2) 1. Forge’s Normpug Apricot Beauty. Good head, correct underjaw, excellent overall proportions, good top-line, moved with a driving parallel gait. O 4(1) 1. Beach’s Beachdax Sweet Melody JW. Well angulated and well proportioned bitch, correct head, good front, good croup, tail set and carriage, out-moved the class, BOB. 2. James’ Lois Lane Cheky’s Hojanmit at Daxiemoors. Feminine head, good front, level top-line, carrying a little additional weight on the day, would prefer a slightly better turn of stifle. 3. Forge’s Normpug Tiger Eyes. DACHSHUND (MINIATURE LONG HAIRED) PG 5(3) 1. Small’s Kenzduo Monday Mojito at Devondax. Preferred the overall proportions of 1 and the parallel movement on the out and back, nice feminine head, good top-line, covered plenty of ground in profile. 2. James’ Johnny Thor at Daxiemoors. Good head and expression, nice front but too much length of loin for me, moved well in profile but untidy behind on the out and back. O 5(2) 1. Small’s Kenzduo Monday Mojito at Devondax. Repeat. BOB. 2. Sheppard’s Arsenik Miss Clemintine in Thystine. Not the reach and drive of 1, correct head but lacked balance in overall proportions. DACHSHUND (MINIATURE WIRE HAIRED) PG 5(2) 1. Beach/Partridge’s Cardaxians Bambam Boy. Excellent overall proportions, nice front, strong top-line, good head and expression, keen dark eye, moved with a parallel ground covering gait, BP. 2. Kilroy’s Do Smarties at Janacop. Charming head and expression, good angulation front and rear, as much back length as I would like however I think the overall balance will improve with maturity. 3. Rose’s Barratini Song and Dance with Rosencrantz. O 4(2) 1. Mills’ Middleton Hunt at Oniasid. Preferred the overall proportions of 1, correct front, good top-line, nice croup, tail set and carriage, moved to advantage, BOB. 2. Kilroy’s Blackvein Rambler at Janacop JW. Good head and expression, excellent shoulder, strong top-line but not the turn of stifle of 1. DACHSHUND (LONG HAIRED) PG 5(0) 1. Lewis’ Trixhund One King. Although only 6 months old, excellent overall shape and balance, good head, strong underjaw, level top-line, impressive gait, BP. 2. Fricker’s Sundayshill Theodore at Borzdac. Excellent head and expression, shown in full coat and good condition but lacked the reach in front of 1 on the move. 3. Turton’s Breezelyn Long Stretch. O 1(0) 1. Lewis’ Trixhund Ten from Len. Good head, strong underjaw, excellent shoulder and good turn of stifle, overall proportions and sound on the move but a touch of ‘flag waving’ in profile, BOB. NORWEGIAN ELKHOUND PG 3(1) 1. Mortimer’s Laakso Helli. Preferred the overall angulation of 1 and freedom of movement, medium bone, a touch 10 to 2 on the stand but correct tail and sound ground covering gait. 2. Barganska’s Cealdstan Ancestral Voices of Barbelka (AI). Not quite the angulation of 1 but balanced fore and aft and short of coat, post a litter, good feminine head. O 3(0) 1. Mortimer’s Ch. Laakso Canute. Won the class on his easy languid gait, good head, correct tail, balanced angulation, level top-line, medium minus bone for a male, BOB. 2. Barganska/King’s Brumous A New Dawn for Barbelka. Compact in type, attractive feminine head and expression, moderate angulation fore and aft, easy gait. 3. Mortimer’s Ch. Laakso Dana. Belcher’s Oak Hills Lady Liberty (imp USA). 8½ year old black and tan Coonhound, somewhat ‘aware’ of her surroundings on the day but a well angulated bitch who moved with a good ground covering gait, BOB. AVNSC HOUND O 1(0) 1. Nicholls’ Sunset Breeze (imp ESP). Rough haired Ibizan Hound, 3 years old, very well presented, good head and expression, light and easy ground covering gait, a pleasure to judge on the day. AV HOUND P 15(0) 1. Brodie/Owen’s Wolfscastle Be Juled. Very well handled and presented Whippet, excellent angulation, good top-line, correct bone, excellent ground covering gait. 2. Small’s Minard Darque Red. Very nice head and expression, absolutely sound on the move, well handled and presented. 3. Stark’s Gobannium Gladys Friday. V 17(0) 1. Gunn/Cannon’s Lux Ch. Amal Salang Hey I’m The Star at Zushkhan. Very well put together Afghan Hound, super head, excellent when viewed in profile with a light springy gait, well angulated front and rear. 2. Trouton’s Runnel Run For Fun. Well handled and presented veteran, moderate angulation front and rear, good strong top-line, correct easy ground covering gait. 3. Bidey’s Raimex Rio. Strauja/Price’s Jacanshe Shine On Me. 2 year old bitch, well angulated front and rear, shown in full coat, carrying a little extra body on the day, good strong top-line and nice reach and drive on the move. Axford’s Bramblemead Sparkling Lady. 11 month old bitch, good balanced angulation, correct top-line, well angulated croup, shown in full coat and good condition, BP. 2. Axford’s Bramblemead Bollinger Boy. Well balanced throughout, good reach of neck, lively on the move but with a tendency towards ‘flag waving’ on the move. 3. Donald’s Bramblemead Bubbles Darlin. O 5(0) 1. Betts’ Winterlyn Heaven Can Wait with Pipadene. 4 year old bitch shown in full coat and good condition, moderate angulation front and rear, strong level top-line and an easy ground covering gait, BOB. 2. Axford’s Brambledale Sparkling Lady. Repeat. 3. Axford’s Roxilyn Blue Diamond at Brambledale (AI). POLISH LOWLAND SHEEPDOG PG 2(1) 1. Harris’ Ponadto Magic Black (imp POL). 2 year old male, absolutely sound throughout, super condition, coat somewhat under prepared however good angulation and correct bone and good feet. O 3(2) 1. Cole’s Ir Ch. Acaviste Pon Cenna. Nice bitch, keen dark eye, a picture in profile, strong top-line, correct croup, good ground covering gait, BOB. 2. Ponadto Magic Black (imp POL). Repeat. RBOB. HUNGARIAN PULI PG 3(0) 1. Thomas’ Mournebrake Touch An Angel. Two very nice puppies full of vim and vigour on the day, just preferred 1 with the better turn of stifle but both are nice examples of the breed, BP. 2. Gracie’s Mournebrake Dear Prudence. Another nice puppy, excellent shoulder and an easy ground covering gait. 3. Thomas’ Chesmes Kutya Magyar Gryff at Mournebrake. O 3(0) 1. Thomas’ Mournebrake Insomnia Cafe. Just preferred the angulation of 1 and the consequent reach and drive on the move, BOB. 2. Thomas’ Mournebrake Bad Biscuit JW.
