I would like to thank the Dukeries (Notts) Gundog committee for the kind invitation to Judge at this well run friendly premier open show. A special thank you to the exhibitors who entered and especially those who entered both Dukeries and Newark show today. I had some beautiful Golden Retrievers, many thanks for accepting my placings. A big thank you to Michelle Morgan, my lovely steward, for keeping the ring running smoothly.

PUPPY D/B (7-2a)

1st List, Ms L - Haydengold Moment in Time 

Mid Golden bitch 9 month old. My first impression was of her overall balance and outline. Very well presented in excellent condition. She has the most appealing head nicely chiselled, excellent pigmentation, dark brown eyes showing a kindly expression. Good length of neck, well laid shoulders with equal return of upper arm, straight forelegs with good bone, standing on good round cat like feet. Ribs are deep and sprung giving plenty of heart room. Short coupled, level topline and correct tail set. Ample second thighs, well bent stifles and let downs hocks. She excelled in movement with good reach and drive, keeping her topline whilst moving straight and true coming back to a good stance. Shortlisted in the puppy group BOB & BP.

2nd King, Mrs Marilyn & King Mr Andrew - Bournellas Shinning Bright Ravenglade

Mid Golden bitch 7 1/2 month old, nothing over done just right for her age, she has a pleasing head, dark brown eyes showing a kindly expression, good length of neck flowing into a level topline with good tail set. Would have preferred her feet to be more round and cat like.

1st Mnadley, Mrs Vicki L - Maltqudos Enchanted Jw

Mid Golden bitch 17 month old. Another lovely girl with feminine head nicely chiselled & excellent pigmentation. She has a good reach of neck, flowing into level topline correct tail set. Balanced throughout , straight front with good bone, she moved well keeping her topline at all times, coming back to a good stance.

2nd Golder, Mrs S & Golder - Mr G Wild Kisses With Love Summeramba Of Sunshine's Valley (Imp Bel)

Pale Golden dog 1 year old, presenting a balanced outline with lovely head, dark brown eyes showing a kindly expression. Good length of neck, well laid back shoulders, flowing into a level topline. Straight  front and round neat feet, short coupled, moved well.

3rd Angell, Miss Beverley - Linirgor Seven Up At Millanza

1st Oldring, Mrs C & Dr J K - Fairwinds Sky Full Of Stars Over Flaxengold

Mid Golden girl 20 month old, lovely femine head good clean neck well laid shoulders, ribs deep and well sprung, with frim level topline. She has well muscled second thighs with plenty of width, good bend of stifles and well let down hocks, neat round cat like feet, moved well around the ring covering all ground.

2nd see critique in Junior.

1st Smith, Mrs Louise & Smith Mr Trevor - Goldmarker Xenobia (Ai)

Golden bitch 2yrs 5 months, nicely balanced throughout, femine head, nicely chiselled & dark brown eyes showing a kindly expression. Good clean neck with ample reach, well laid shoulders, straight front, well ribbed with plenty of heart room, level topline correct tail set. Good second thighs well bent stifles. Neat round feet. She moved with ease covering all ground straight and true from front and rear.

2nd Morris -Garget, Mrs Freda & Morris, Mr Patrick - Goldmarker Coming Home To Garvin (Ai) 

Golden dog 2yrs 5 month, what a lovely boy i just loved his masculine head nicely chiselled, expressive dark brown eyes giving him his soft expression, excellent pigmentation, good clean muscular neck, Shoulders well laid back, ribs are deep and well sprung giving him plenty of heart room. Good firm topline with correct tail set. Strong loin and legs with well muscled thighs, round neat cat like feet. Shown in good coat and moved well. I just preferred the movement of one the class winner on the day.

1st Smith Mrs Louise & Smith Mr Trevor - Goldmarker Luminess (Ai)

Golden bitch 2yrs 5 months lovely breed type, Pretty feminine head, good pigmentation, dark brown eyes showing a kindly expression. Clean reach of neck set into well laid shoulders with equal length of upper arm. Nicely proportioned throughout, level topline and tail set. Well bent stifles, hocks well let down standing on good round cat like feet. She kept a good topline moving straight and true with good reach and drive. I was happy to give her the RBOB today, on a different day the places could of easily changed.

2nd Walker, Mrs EJ & Roberts Dr L - Gloi You Make Loving Fun

Mid Golden bitch 2 1/2  years old a happy girl who never stopped wagging her tail. A different type to number one. Lovely head and expression, correct length of neck, good depth and length of rib, muscled second thighs in good coat. I preferred the overall balance and movement of one.

Pale Golden bitch 3 1/2 year old. Presented in good condition and very attentive to her owner. She has a sweet head , good length of neck well laid back shoulders, straight front with good bone neat round cat like feet. Her ribs are deep and well sprung
giving plenty of heart of heart room, Carried her tail straight of her back and moved well covering all ground and coming back to a good stance.

2nd Brown, Mrs Amanda Louise & Brown Mr Matthew Leslie. - Sansue Love Note At Louellabrook

Pale Golden bitch 2 years 1 month old, another lovely bitch with a pleasing head and expression, nicely balanced throughout. Well spring rib good topline and tail set, neat round feet shown in good coat and condition, she moved soundly around the ring keeping her topline at all times.
