Thank you to all at Tay Valley Gundog Association for their kind invitation to judge a couple of breed classes, Retriever( Golden) & Retriever (Labrador) and for their kind hospitality. A special thank you to all the exhibitors who gave me a lovely entry of quality dogs & bitches and for accepting my placings on the day. Many thanks to my steward Fiona for keeping the ring running smoothly and a special thank you to Good - Life Farming for providing a lovely gluten free lunch.

1st (BPIB-RBPIS) Tulloch, Mrs Diana , BINNAIG SEA THE STARS OVER TULLOCHMOHR

Yellow Dog 7 month old, A very promising puppy standing alone in his class today very active and never stopped wagging his tail. Attractive head with good pigment, decent stop and length of muzzle not over done for his age. He has a lovely clean outline, balanced with good length of neck into well laid shoulders, level topline, ample length of leg and compact feet, moved well covering all ground. I was happy to see him gain RBPIS

SPECIAL YEARLING (2)

1st Tulloch, Mrs Diana, TULLOCHMOHR ULTIMO FINAL

Black Dog 15 month old, Strong happy boy never stopped wagging his tail. Attractive masculine head with lovely brown eyes giving him his soft kindly expression, he has a good length of muzzle and a decent stop. His neck is clean and strong set into well laid shoulders with equal return of upper arm, Short coupled, deep chest with good spring of rib, firm over the loin with good width and muscled second thighs, well turned stifle and stands on good feet, ample bone and length of leg. Shown in correct double coat in lovely condition and super wrapped otter tail, moved well.

2nd Gunn, Miss Alison EXELBY ELIZABETH

Yellow Bitch lovely clean out line sweet feminine head with kindly expression, enough length of muzzle, nice dark pigment. Clean neck flowing into a good level topline, nicely balanced with a good return of upper arm standing on good round feet, good coat moved well.

Black bitch 2 year old, another lovely bitch nicely balanced in profile with pleasing feminine head and melting expression, clean reach of neck, well laid shoulders good depth of chest, well sprung ribs firm over the loin. good length of leg with ample bone standing on good feet. In good coat with a super wrapped otter like tail. Excelled on her movement covering all ground.

Yellow Dog 21 month old, a lot to like on this boy he has a lovely clean outline and balanced throughout from head to tail, loved his masculine head, good eye colour and shape giving him a soft kindly expression, enough length of muzzle with a decent stop and good pigment. Clean strong neck set into well laid shoulders,flowing into a good level topline. Short coupled with deep chest and good spring of rib, firm over the loin, muscled second thighs, ample length of neck, good bend of stifle, standing on good feet. He excelled in movement covering all ground, moving straight and true coming back to a good stance and standing four square. So pleased i waited until the end of the show to see him win RBIS

2nd Farquharson, Miss Nancy, RAMSAYVILLE RISSIAN RHYTHAM

Yellow bitch 31/2 year old so well balanced everything in proportion from head to tail, loved her head and expression. Short coupled, super coat, ample length of leg and nice tight feet. Very attentive with her handler moved well.

Yellow Dog 5 year old, another lovely boy so very close to the best of breed and many of the same attributes apply. Nicely balanced in profile loved his masculine head and expression, Clean reach of neck on this boy with ample length of leg and good feet, he showed well and moved with ease covering all ground.

2nd Hardy, Miss Bex, GIGHTY BURN ECHO

Darker Yellow 3 1/2 year old, nice working bitch in excellent fit condition, Everything in proportion as it should be. Feminine head with good eye colour and expression, good front and rear angulations muscled thighs with ample length of leg, Would of preferred tighter feet. Moved well around the ring
