Dorgue de Bordeaux PG) (2/1) 1. Bailey S & E Kenzduo Glad All Over with Nesaluma. Not particularly enjoying her show day today. Good sized female with sufficient muscle throughout. Expression characteristic of breed, eye oval set wide apart and colour in contrast to mask. Bite correct, good lay of shoulder. Body of good proportions, would prefer more rear angulation and tighter toes. (BOB) Great Dane. Open (3/0) 1. Searle. Murrayvhayle my Main Man . This handsome and imposing male…fitted the description Very muscular, strongly though elegantly built, with look of dash and daring, of being ready to go anywhere and do anything. His fortune was his movement, excellent fore and rear action. Attractive headpiece but ‘too much lip’ (BOB) 2. Searle. Murrayvhayle Mystical. A beautiful very much ‘feminine; headpiece…with excellent ‘lip line’. Lacked the drive and ground coverage on the move. Feet would benefit with ‘nail trimming’ 3. Bourton – Thorne. Verano Vivacious Bullmastiff (P) (1/0) Marshall. Archub Show Stopper at Jqjaru. Liked this youngster very much. Excellent forequarters…straight and parallel on the ‘tightest of feet’ sufficient rear angulation. Straight well - muscled top line, moved with rear drive, front movement needs to tighten but acceptable at this age (O) Thomas & Bull (2/0) 1. Phoria’s Seventh Heaven JW. Powerfully built but not cumbersome. Shown in ‘hard condition’ This ‘high spirited’ male of good nature was shown expertly by ‘his charge’ another dog I judged today that would benefit ‘nail trimming’ (BOB) 2. Warren & Green. Copperfield Hubble . Build of ‘some substance’ good for quarters …didn’t have the rear drive of 1. Good tight feet.
AVNSC Working. (P) (5/4) 1. Williams, Newton & Slack. Rarjo Macduff Making Waves with Megulcie (Portuguese Water Dog) A well balanced youngster, needs to settle further when moving…coming towards a ‘rolling action. However, on the stand forelegs perfectly straight. Good head proportions with defined stop. Profuse coat, In profile almost square. Trotted around the coat with confidence. (J) (2/0) 1. Williams, Newton & Slack. Rarjo Macduff Making Waves with Megulcie 2. Baldwin. Lintweed Black Zamara. (Russian Black Terrier) Large male, well built with good bone. Adequate muscle tone for age. A little longer in back, Coat of good texture, well furnished. On the ‘stand’ turns the back right leg. (PG)(4/3) Dobson & Moss 1. Chantavory Coco Chanel (Rottweiler) In profile a balanced female, good angulation fore and rear which enabled her to move around the ring well, nice tail carriage. A attractive head piece, nice eyes of good colour and ears set well. For preference would like more size overall.(O) (3/2) 1. Smith Oakholme Imperial Wizard (Portuguese Water Dog) In profile good proportions, good fore and rear angulations , held topline on the move. Alert expression, good dentition in profuse coat Best AVNSC Veteran (6/1) 1. Lainchbury. Ch Ashlain Trypiti JW (Doberman) Caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring and didn’t disappoint when I was able to go over her. The most feminine head, shown in excellent condition, moved around the ring with ease. Very much a worthy champion. Delighted to hear she was awarded BWIS 2. Hughes. Ch Siberiadrift Keep Forever J ScCM ShCEx OSW (Siberian Husky) Another worthy Champion. Very eye catching on the move and stance, head of good proportions, well-muscled throughout. Lovely to judge.
Miniature Poodle P (2/0) 1. Lee – Morris 1. Michandy It’s Showtime at Pupstar . (BP) A lot to like about this youngster. He emulates ‘balance and elegance’ Good angulations fore and rear’ which equates to the ground covered on the move which ‘showed off’ his good tail carriage. Body tone for one so young good. He showed with ‘confidence’ Presentation was ‘exemplary’ 2. Kitchener. Michandy Sign of the Times. Sister to 1, reflecting his good construction . She has the most feminine expression. Foreface strong and well chiselled, chin clearly defined. Almond shaped eyes of good colour. Sound in the rear but not as precise in the fore but the environment in this class affected her confidence on the move Good coat presentation of this ‘brown; female. PG (2/1)1. Kitchener . Michandy Sign of the Times. Much happier in this class. O (3/1) 1. Brook. Skulbrook Had to be a Miracle. Strong foreface, well chiselled, chin clearly defined, dark almond shaped eyes. Ears set low and close fitting…overall result a pleasing head piece. Overall construction compact and well balanced. Coat dense and thick of excellent texture. Another exhibit turned out in excellent order and handled well. Completely sound on the move but would like slightly more forward reach. (BOB) G3. 2. Lee – Morris. Michandy Back in Time at Pupstar. A stylish male, larger than 1 and not as compact in construction with good reach of neck, good layback of shoulder, straight front, reasonable depth of chest, well carried tail. Attractive head with flat cheeks, correct stop, dark almond shaped eyes, giving attentive expression. Covered the ground effortlessly. Beautifully presented
Toy Poodle. P (1/0) 1. Thompson. Afterglow Show us yer Nuts Trandella 6 month old ‘brown’ full of confidence. His movement around the ring demanded attention and demonstrated good tail carriage. For my preference would like a ‘smaller eye’ but of good colour. (BOB) (BP) PG (2/1) 1. Gouldsborough. Safiette Midsummer Moon. Not particularly enjoying his day, would prefer more ‘fill’ under the eye….gives a more ‘snipy’ expression, eye shape and colour good.
Standard Poodle. P (5/0) 1. Garbutt & Hoblin. Kertellas Written in Stars (BP) A very mature 7 month old male that demanded attention. Particularly liked his masculine expression. Compact construction, excellent muscle tone throughout , correct fore and rear angulation enhanced the way he went around the ring. Presented and handled in good order, one to watch for the future. 2. Dawson. Amber Nova Fatal attraction for Achara (Imp POL) 10 month old female, pretty girl , would prefer less roundness of the eye. Good chest, excellent forequarters, good tight feet. Construction of good dimensions but a little roached in topline until relaxed. Moved well with good tail carriage. 3. Lewis. Nikkeit Auto Star Maker. PG (6/2) 1. Rodgers. Montravia Secret Romance. A lovely ‘find’ of the day. A very pretty female that has so much going for her, balanced, elegant with proud carriage . Head of correct proportions, expression enhanced by her almond shaped eyes of correct colour. Good depth of chest, short back with good muscle tone, correct lay of shoulder, good rear angulation. Moved around the ring with drive, a bright future awaits. Delighted to award BOB and good to see her later awarded with Group 2. 2.Brook. Sculbrook the Beat Lives On A very handsome ‘brown’ male. I would describe his expression as ‘strong’ Would of preferred a slightly darker eye. Body well-muscled throughout, profuse and dense coat of good harsh texture. Beautifully prepared for the ring, had slightly less rear angulation than 1. Stood on tight arched toes. Had presence moving around the ring. 3. Dziobon. Sterlingway Astronaughty O (5/2) 1. Brook.
