MARLBOROUGH & DISTRICT CANINE SOCIETY – Premier Open Show

As Chairman of this Society, I really appreciated the exhibitors to our show.  They were friendly, happy and all enjoying a day out showing and chatting with friends.  It is very heartening hearing the feedback that we were receiving.  I had various jobs during the day and the 1st was judging Dobermann.

Dobermann   P D/B (2,0), 1. Pardoe, Mrs., A., Aritaur Daring At Dobiedar: A 7mth old black bitch, that well grown for her age, and I would not like to see her grow any bigger.  She has a good out-line and is well balanced with good proportions all throughout. She used her construction to good use moving smoothly around the ring.  Pleased to award her BP and Res. BOB.  

2. Groves & Hyett, Miss J.A. & Mrs. J.A., Lateagain Wish Upon A Star: A 7mth old black bitch, now I preferred this young lady to 1st, its just her movement that let her down.  You can put that down to age as she was not as mature as 1st.  She has however a superb out-line and is so feminine, gorgeous type and has all the making. She has time on her side and it will not be long.

O D/B (1,0), 1. Mr. R.P. & Dr. R.J., Massey & McGeoch, Manzart Zebedee, JW: A 2yr old brown dog, a fully mature dog, with good hard muscles.  He is a good size, very masculine with a super out-line and of a good type.  Eye-catching when stacked, when hand-on he is what you see, you get.  Excellent angles front and rear, making him well balanced throughout especially on the move.  He is at one with his handler.  I was pleased to award him BOB and was especially pleased when he took W.Grp.2.  Thank you all for coming.
