1st Raaff’s Stormraven Shadoswift - Young bitch, right for age with a smooth and graceful movement. Standing foursquare with a balanced shape with correct and balanced angulation. Refined head and muzzle with almond eye and ears set high. Best Puppy in Breed

2nd Norris’ Ferngrove’s Code Blue - This upstanding young dog was slightly longer than tall. Well made with correct and balanced angulation, he moved true from all angles. High set ears used well on a wedge head and rounded to muzzle.

1st Walker’s Una Fortuna for Tooralie - Larger sized bitch but in proportion and the best of mover of the class with a lovely topline and tail carried out. Pleasing head with refined features and muscular, well arched neck into well-developed forequarters with laid back of shoulder and with equal return of upper arm.

2nd Norris’ Sabema Mayfly at Ferngrove - I preferred this bitch for size and hight. Her ears are set on top of her skull, on a beautiful head. Level topline and broad thigh. Well developed forechest, moved well but not as tidy in front as first.

Limit

1st Jeffrey’s Willowthorn Peakyblinder - Lacking a little confidence today, but showed herself enough to win the class. When she used her ears you could see correct set on top of her skull and tips falling forward. Straight front legs and well angulated with sloping shoulders and deep chest. Lovely head and became alert on the move covering the ground with the minimum of effort. She gained confidence in the challenge and happy to award her Best of Breed.

2nd Rutterford’s Kelgrove MidSummer Blue at Stormhead - A very showy 6 year old dog who has matured well. Good bone and moved well from all angles. Coat in great condition and plentiful. Today I preferred the head of my winner.

2nd Walker’s Tooralie’s Tornade JW - A lovely dog to go over constructively with well laid back shoulders and return of upper arm of equal length. In the rear, his thighs are broad and balanced to his front angulation. He demonstrates and symmetrical outline. Just on the larger size.

1st Sladden’s Canemamans Two Timer - Chestnut male of 9 months. Long, angular head and showing correct planes, oval eye and long ears set level with corner of eye. Broad nose. Has strong bone and stands on slightly oval feet. He carries a level topline currently which will develop with age. Good withers and chest depth reaching elbows. Moved with drive and true in front. Best Puppy in Breed

2nd Sladden & Webber’s Canemamans Two Faced - Orange 9 month old who was less mature than my winner. They carried themselves with a strong topline on rounded feet. Good angulation fore and aft with a promising head. Just needs time to develop and mature.

Special yearling

1st Pipes & Groves’ Bushwacker Don Juan JW - Young male with an almost square profile appearance. Level topline leading to slight slope to croup and standing on strong, slightly oval feet. Broad head with oval eye and flat skull showing divergent planes. Correctly angulated with slight tuck up. Even in a small ring he could demonstrate the power in his movement.

2nd Beecham’s Inspirations Lorenza Primavera at Rydonmist (Imp Swe) - 20 month bitch of lovely shape and underline. Made well and balanced throughout with correct head maintaining feminine features and good eye and ear placement. Level topline.

Limit

1st Beecham’s Gunsyn Hotrod at Rydonmist JW - A Young dog starting to come into his own. Powerful neck leading into well laid back shoulders and a good return of upper arm. Level topline with slight slope to croup. Deep chest down to elbow and slight tuck up to underline. Move true fore & aft, demonstrating reach and drive when going round the ring. Had everything to offer today and was pleased to award him Best of Breed.

2nd Sladden & Forbes’ Canemamans Primo Al Fine JW - A young dog who I’m sure still has more to come. Slightly longer cast than my winner and not as clean in front movement but has a powerful drive in profile. Lovely head with long ears set level with oval eyes. Good bone and feet.

1st Sladden’s Sh Ch Valcor The Confessor at Canemamans JW ShCEx OSW - 3 year old orange slightly longer than tall in appearance. Good head with low set ears and divergent planes. Short neck and sufficient depth of chest. Level topline, Excellent angulation and moved well.

2nd Beecham’s Allegro Nord Bohemia Sheram at Rydonmist (Imp CZE) - Chestnut dog of square appearance and strong throughout. Standing on tight feet he has a great side profile from his balanced angulation fore & aft.

1st Ashley-Turner’s Riverbrue The Joker - 8 month dog. Still very raw but with all the right foundations. Lean head with dark, almond shaped eyes and correctly set ears. Moderate neck into well laid back shoulders. Strong bone and good depth of chest for age. Currently standing with a level topline. Best Puppy in breed

2nd Pickerill & Hambrey’s Scokira Alphesina Eclipse - 8 month bitch with a sweet head and expression. Dark eyes and well placed ears. Good depth of chest for age and correct front angulation. Very raw today and will need time to develop. Moved OK.

3rd Bott, Allen & Morgan’s Quensha Music Of The Night

1st Lorrimer’s Gwendariff Disco Dazzler (IKC) - A smaller dog with a pleasing head, dark eyes and low set ears. Good bone for size and standing on tight, round feet. Slight slope to topline when stacked with lovely angulation in front. Moved well.

2nd Miller’s Alolfrana I Gotta Feeling of Millthyme - 20 month dog, an upstanding racy male. Nice head and good depth to chest, correct angulations and moved OK. Slightly high in the tuck up for me.

Limit

1st Bott, Allen & Morgan’s Quensha Joker And The Queen - A gorgeous bitch that just needs a bit more confidence to complete the picture. Moved well and lovely head with dark eye and correct ear set. Balanced angulation fore and aft with well laid back shoulders. Slight slope to topline and slight slope to croup. Loved her for overall appearance and type. Best of Breed.

2nd Sloane’s Ferasheen Pop The Champers JW - I would like more work in her head but splendid shape and dark eye with ears set just below eye level. Oval feet with sufficient forechest and correct topline. Lovely to go over and moved OK in profile.

1st Bott, Allen & Morgan’s Sh Ch Quensha Crimes Of Passion - A smaller bitch and longer cast holding a level topline, but best mover of the class. Lovely head and elegant neck into well laid shoulders. Strong hocks and moved true.

2nd Sloane’s Ferasheen Hot Proper Tea JW - Loved this dog on the stand. Strong and masculine while maintaining that racy look of an Irish Setter. Lean head with good eye. Lovely neck into well laid back shoulder and nothing overdone. Unfortunately let himself down on movement.

1st Saunders & Newton’s Teisgol Calendula - Typical head on this orange and white with good body for age. Smooth underline and short, muscular loin. Strong bone and standing on round, compact feet. Moved OK in profile

2nd Robson’s Bradgate Dasher - This black and white bitch was finer throughout in body. She has a sweet head with ears set back. Moved OK

1st Westaway & Eldridge’s Bradgate Yours Truly - Liver & white. Broad head with a slight concave to muzzle. Strong neck into laid back shoulders and a good depth of chest and balanced angulation and width of thigh. Oval bone. Moved OK

2nd Walton’s Meadowpoint Jack O’Lantern at Pointmoor - I liked this orange & white dog in profile on the stand, Arched toes, ok neck and good shoulder placement. Strong topline, moved well.

1st Truman’s Bradleypoint Floki - Black & white dog of lovely shape and moved true from all angles. Proportioned head with dark eyes and ears set back. Moderate neck into laid back shoulders. Good depth of chest and correct rear. Best of Breed

2nd Lake’s Lithespirit Daisy Hamilton - Liver and white bitch who was finer throughout. Nice head with almond eye and well arched toes. She was OK on the move but was feeling the cold today and this showed.

2nd Robson’s Codnorhawk Dinky Stta at Bradgate - Substantial bitch who moved true but today wasn’t striding out. Pleasant head with dark eye and ears set level. Feet compact. Good underline with slight tuck up. Short coupled and balanced in angulation.

1st Harrison & Macbain’s Daenerys Winter Solstice at Fecimus - I was captivated by this 8 month old bitch. A strong, compact and merry girl. Good bone, enough depth of chest and starting to develop. Plenty of work in her head already. Muscular neck, tight feet and balanced angulation. Moved well for age with reach and drive

2nd Topliss’ Beresford Stand At Ease - 6 month dog very much the raw baby today, but everything is there for when he matures. Good body, fabulous bone and moved well. Cracking head with low set ears

2nd Topliss’ Beresford Stand on Ceremony - 6 month bitch and wow, another of quality coming along nicely. Lovely head with square end to muzzle and dark eye. Round tight feet and good bone. Correct body for age and good depth of chest. Level topline. Lovely angulation and moved true fore & aft and in profile. Another puppy to watch.

2nd Williams & Toublic’s Cobhay Heavenly Hydrangea - 4th in my previous class, she moves true and balanced from all angles. Heavier in head and broad skull. Sometimes loses her topline.

2nd Williams & Toublic’s Cobhay Fancy Phlox - Lovely made and true moving bitch. Longer cast in build she carried a level topline and has good depth to chest. Broad in skull.

1st Davis & Walsh’s Rosschell Maid Out Of The Blu - 9 month blue merle Australian Shepherd. I judged her 3 months previous and awarded her highly then and pleased to see she is still showing the promise. Her movement is divine from her balanced and moderate body. Love her head and expression and use of ears.

2nd Leonard’s Ellemich Bombshell at Whitchstone – Young 13 months Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is a beautiful mover, true and balanced throughout. Lovely head with round eyes. She was a joy to go over and watch move and marked her place in this class.

3rd Whateley’s Arkadian Alfredo Ferrari - Bolognese
