Thank you to the committee for the invitation to judge at their show, a hard working committee who have a well run show. The quality of the dogs was fantastic and pleased to hear my pastoral group winner went on to win best in show.

2 year old dog of good proportions throughout. Clean eye of good shape, wide nostrils. Strong neck onto well angled shoulders. Good angles through out with tidy feet. Strong top line, maintained on the move with good tail set. Pleased to award him BOB.

2ND Smith’s BOURNEHOUSE SECRET SUNSET OF MEADOWRUSH

4 year old dog, head of good proportions. Well angled throughout. Moved well covering the ground with ease, lots to like about him but in slightly soft condition today which affected his topline.

2 year old bitch, scissor bite, head well developed. Would like slightly more reach of neck to give a more balanced appearance. Strong topline which was maintained on the move, well angled rear which gave her good drive.

18 month old bitch, scissor bite, head of good proportions and typical expression. Well made throughout. Good mover once settled, focused on handler which throws off her movement slightly but lots to like about this young bitch.

2nd Boyle’s DILWORTHEY EARLY ARRIVAL

Coming up for 4 year old male, scissor bite. Clean eye of good shape and colour. Head well developed but would like more reach of neck to give more balance. Good top line, slightly too much tuck up than I would like. Sound mover, covering the ground with ease.

Coming up 4 year old male, scissor bite, clean eye of good shape. Good reach of neck with well laid shoulder. Steady mover who maintained his top line on the move. Lots to like about him, would like a bit of spark from him for him to show himself at his best.

2nd Coles-Winder’s MULAN PRINCESS AT BERNSGLEN

3 year old bitch, scissor bite, head of plain type but good proportions. Well laid shoulders and good forelimbs. Well angled throughout and a steady mover but her topline let her down today. Working well with handler.

6 month old yellow bitch, lovely puppy but not enjoying the venue today which let her down. Lovely headpiece and well made throughout, on the stack she made a beautiful outline but difficult to assess hands on and on the move. With confidence she will have a bright future.

2 year old yellow dog, well developed head with typical expression. Clean eye of good shape and colour. Well boned throughout. Lots to like about him, proud of his tail today.

22 month old tri bitch, bobtail. Scissor bite. Clean eye, correct ear carriage. Good reach of neck, well angled fore and after. Tidy feet and well boned for size. Came into her own on the move where she covers the ground with effortless action. Presented in top condition and working well with handler, pleased to award her BOB, Pastoral Group 1 and hear she later went on to win BIS.

3 year old dog, scissor bite. Another lovely example of the breed. Clean eye, well angled throughout and presented in good condition. He wasn’t a fan of the flooring today which let him down.
