Miniature long Dachshund

Junior

1st Mccarthy’s The odd excuse: Lovely Cream girl of just 13 months of age. Nice head with great pigmentation. Good length of neck leading into well placed shoulders. Nice front with prominent breastbone and a lovely depth of keel. Correct length of ribbing. Good mover and held topline on the move.

2nd Mccarthy’s Nagshall Di Maria: Young Cream girl of just 10 months, good head with again nice dark almond eyes, good bone and substance, she moved well for one so young. Preferred the movement and topline on 1st. My BPIB

Post Graduate

1st Mccarthy’s Dyce The Ice JW: Cream dog with masculine head with a good length of Neck. Tight elbows and lovely tight feet. Held Topline on the move. My RBOB

2nd Broad’s Bronia Wolfgang Puck: Red dog different type to 1st, Strong head, correct almond eyes with good length of ribbing. Needs more confidence on the table, moved well.

Open: (Lovely class, both of excellent quality, very close call.)

1st Broad’s Eldmour Sea Lord Of Dinkidudlor: Red dog with an excellent masculine head, correct eye and strong pigmentation. Correct front with good length of ribbing leading to a strong loin and good rear angulation. Went round the ring with ease and looked the picture on the move. My BOB

2nd Mccarthy’s CH Nagshall I’m So Dizzy JW: Super cream girl, lovely head, with a good length of neck, correct shoulders, prominent breastbone & good depth of keel. Extremely well presented on the table. Kept a good outline on the move, just lacked the confidence of 1st on the move today.

1st Forge’s Normpug Roman Holiday: Confident Black & Tan dog of only 8 months. Pleasing head with a decent neck, well-placed shoulders and balanced angulation both ends. Moved out soundly and freely with confidence. My BPIB

2nd Fairchild & Oakley’s Ardenrun Hark The Lark: 15 month old Shaded Red girl, different type to 1st. Lovely head with good pigmentation. Lovely shoulders and firm topline. Lovely to go over, just needs that little bit more confidence on the table and the move.

Post Graduate (Difficult decision between 1st and 2nd)

1st Wood’s Bronia Guistina: A shaded red girl in lovely condition. Beautiful head and eye with great pigmentation. Good length of neck, correct shoulders and firm topline which was held on the move. Looked a picture in profile. My BOB

2nd Fairchild & Oakley’s Ardenrun Waltzing Matilda: Lovely compact Black & Tan girl. Nice head with good eyes, correct in front and everything in proportion. Good rear angulation and lovely outline. Lacked the confidence on the move of 1st. My RBOB

1st Wood’s Kelcardi Planet Mars: A Red dog of only 10 months of age, Strong masculine head with correct dark almond eyes. pleasing in neck and lovely front. Very good to go over, moved well.

2nd Strange’s Stargang Magic Alfie Moon At Cazdachs: Shaded Red dog with a pleasing head and lovely dark almond eyes. strong muscular neck and firm topline. kept profile on the move.
