I would like to thank the Club for inviting me to judge and give thanks to the exhibitors who entered their dogs.

Golden Retriever

Puppy Dog or Bitch 5:5

1st 17. Riley WHLLOH PADDINGTON BEAR

A lovely balanced puppy throughout. Lighter shade of cream, delightful kind expression with a detailed head and defined stop and dark nose. Nice wide skull, showing plenty of brain room. Well set on neck falling into nicely placed shoulder with a good front assembly and straight front. Well off for bone. Good substance and muscle for one so young. Good depth of chest and spring of rib. Short coupled. Level topline which was held on the move. Well bent stifle with nice straight hocks. Tail set on well, neat feet. Moved well showing reach and drive.

2nd 8. Foreman AMBERSUN HEAD OVER HEELS

Another pleasing puppy, lovely head and soft expression. Good reach of neck and defined forechest. Elbows well placed. Nice depth of chest and spring of rib. Short coupled. Good rear angulation. Moved well. I preferred the topline of my first place.

1st 7. Foreman AMBERSUN SUMMER SON

A beautiful head on this dog with kind eyes and a soft expression. Good reach of neck and good straight front. Nice depth of chest, good front angulation, strong well angulated hindquarters with muscle tone. Short coupled and balanced in outline. Sound mover, top line held on the move. Presented well with a rich golden coat. A happy dog in the ring.

2nd 20. Taylor STETTONHILLS DAFFODIL

Presents a balanced outline. Nice balanced head with a kind expression, dark nose, nice eye colour. Good reach of neck, with lovely front angulation. Elbows well placed. Slightly longer in body than my first place. Good rear angulation , tail set good. Moved well.

A nice masculine head on this boy. Good reach of neck. Defined forechest with a good depth of chest and spring of rib. Muscular hindquarters. Good coat. Unsettled on the move today.

Open Dog or Bitch 9:6

1st 18. Stanfield ROXALI LITTLE QUEENIE

A really feminine bitch with the sweetest expression, balanced in outline, compact and in full coat. Correct eye shape and colour, head in proportion with a lovely reach of neck falling into well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest with well placed elbows. Good forefront, nice spring of rib. Straight in front and well off for bone. Front and rear angulation good. Lovely tight feet. Moved very well especially in profile, showing good reach and drive, her movement gave her top honours on the day.

2nd 12. Liggins SILVER PASSION GLAM FASHION AT NUNSBROOK JW

Strong dog with a masculine head with good pigment, Straight front with good bone. Deep chest with good forefront, good front angulation, level topline and short in the couplings, good width and turn of stifle, nice tight feet. Moved well showing reach and drive. Tail carriage a little high on the move today.

Nice feminine head on this 1 yr old girl showing balance in appearance. Dark eye. Good reach of neck and well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest, nice angles front and rear. Neat and tidy feet. Correct tail set. Well off for coat and a beautiful rich colour. Moved well in profile showing reach and drive.

Pleasing balanced dog, oozing masculinity. Lovely soft expression with a dark eye of correct shape, defined stop and head in proportion. Muscular neck of adequate length. Shoulders laid back, good depth of chest. Straight front with good bone. Elbows well placed with a lovely forechest, good depth of chest, well sprung ribs. Well bent stifle, with good muscle tone. Well of for body. Good coat, presented well. Moved well out and back and showing reach and drive in profile. Held his topline on the move.

A mature bitch, balanced in appearance. A lovely feminine head, dark eye of correct shape, well defined with well defined occipital. Lean neck falling into good shoulder placement and good return to forearm, true in front. Good depth to chest and well sprung ribs carried well back. Neat feet. Movement ok in profile.

2nd 66. Fox KERRYFAIR SPECIAL DIAMOND

This bitch is a different type to the first place. dark eyes, nice length of neck, front straight, good depth of chest, well sprung ribs into short loin. Plenty of coat. Movement not the best today, erratic at times.

A well proportioned dog of pleasing outline. Masculine expression. Strong well muscled neck. Shoulders well placed. Chest well sprung with a straight front and good forechest. Broad in croup with a good bend of stifle. Well muscled. Harsh coat and neat feet. Moved well showing reach and drive. BOB

Stood alone in the class but very worthy of her first place. Balanced in appearance. Lovely feminine head with a soft but intelligent expression. Good reach of neck falling into well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest, well ribbed up. Good angulation front and rear with good muscle tone. Moved well showing reach and drive with purpose and enthusiasm. BOB

A very smart compact and balanced young 10mth old puppy dog. Pleasing head with a bright eye and soft expression. Strong short neck falling into well placed shoulders. Front and rear construction good and balanced. Well let down brisket and well sprung ribs. Very well off for coat. Moved well holding his topline and showing reach and drive. Pushed hard for BOB today but not quite mature enough yet. A promising future for this boy. RBOB & BP

2nd 96. Martinez BULLBROTHERS MIRACLE

A larger example of the breed than my 1st place. Pleasing feminine head. Nice front construction. Well sprung ribs with a good depth of chest, elbows well placed. Unsettled on the move today so difficult to assess.

2nd 94. Abrahams CRAVESSA’S RIGHT ON THE DAY BY ADORMIDERA

Balanced in appearance with a nice head, good angulation throughout. Well sprung ribs with a nice topline. Coat was trimmed off today. Moved well on profile view but a little close rear movement on the out and back today.

This dog has a pleasing shape with a masculine head, good eye shape and colour. Strong muscular neck. Balanced in angulation front and rear. Good spring of rib and depth of chest. Elbows well placed and well off for coat and body. Well muscled and showing his maturity. Moved well with confidence, reach and drive. BOB
