1st. Saynor’s Ekkolander Rumour. 7mths and what a sweetie. Feminine B of good shape, lovely head with dark eyes & a moderate stop, well set and well feathered ears help with her ‘innocent’ expression. Good forequarters with well laid shoulders, straight front and neat feet, well sprung ribs and a short loin to a muscular and well angled rear. True steady mover. Very promising. BP

1st Wilkins’ Sh Ch Quilesta Simply Exquisite. 5yr B, preferred her for type and shape. Head sufficiently broad and retaining femininity, dark eyes and an inquisitive expression. Lovely forequarters with well laid shoulders & return of upper arm giving good forechest. Ribs well sprung and well back to a short loin. Well muscled rear with a good turn of stifle. Moved ok, would prefer her tail a little lower. BOB
2nd Simpson’s Ekkolander Persephone Red at Leriton. 3yr B of finer build that 1st. Head finer through skull but pleasing expression. Well made forequarters but would like more forechest. Level topline to good rear angles. A little wide coming towards today but good drive in profile. RBOB

1st Blythin’s Angelusparks V Practice Makes Perfect Julesville (Imp PRT). A very masculine 16mth D. Broad through skull and eyes could be tighter. Well made forequarters with well laid shoulders and good forechest. Level topline and correct tail set. Very well muscled rear. Moved true with drive when settled. Such a happy boy.

1st Hewison’s Benvellyn Marakele into Casblaidd JW. 21mth B, I loved this girl for her size and type. Classic lean head of correct proportions, lovely dark expressive eyes and well set ears. Muscular neck into well laid shoulders with return of upper arm and enough forechest, straight front, good bone and feet. Deep well sprung ribs to a strong loin and on to a well muscled and well angulated rear. Best mover, true with drive. BOB
2nd Buckley’s Blacktoft Brindisi by Buckleyhill. 2yr masculine dog with a pleasing head, dark eyes and well set ears. Well made forequarters with straight front, good bone and feet. Well muscled and correctly angulated rear used well on the move.

1st Hewison’s Casblaidd Island In The Sky SGWC KCWGC. 7yr D and another of good shape with correct head with slight stop. Muscular neck into well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, straight front with good bone and neat feet. Deep well sprung ribs under a level topline with correct tail set and carriage. Well muscled rear. Another good mover, true with drive but just lacked the ‘sparkle’ of the young B. RBOB
2nd Buckley’s Steelriver Hit The Beach with Buckleyhill. 5yr D. Pleasing head with dark eyes. Would like more length of neck. Well made forequarters with good forechest. Deep well sprung ribs, Level topline to a well set and well carried tail. Good rear, moved ok.

1st Bullock’s Trixhund Shut That Door 7mth D. Liked him for type, lovely head shape and well set ears of good length, dark hazel eyes and an inquisitive expression. Super forequarters and straight front with good bone and feet. Ribs reaching elbow and back to a short loin. Moderate rear angles. Not quite sure where his legs are on the move just yet but showed glimpses of true movement. Promising youngster. BP & RBOB

1st Bullock’s Trixhund This Is My Destiny. 3yr D. Old fashioned type with correct head, dark hazel eyes and well set ears of good length. Straight front with good bone and tight round feet. Well laid shoulders and enough forechest. Level topline over deep well-sprung ribs through to a muscular and well angled rear. True mover fore and aft showing good drive in profile. BOB and so please to watch them win Reserve Best in Show

1st Moore’s Fantastic Field Shine Like a Diamond at Gadhelic (Imp Fin). Just 12mth and what a promising youngster. Liked her overall shape and type, feminine throughout with a well proportions and correctly shaped head with moderate stop. Well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and good forechest. Deep ribs well back to her strong loin. Correct rear angles with good tailset and carriage. True effortless mover. Congratulations on gaining your JW today. BOB

2nd Wheeler’s Elgert King For A Day. 22mth D. Another nice specimen with pleasing head of good shape and proportions. Lovely forequarters with well laid shoulders and good forechest. Level topline to a well set tail. Moved ok. Not quite the presence and outline of the winner.

1st Moore’s Gadhelic Jennyanydots. A pretty 5yr B with a lovely expression. Pleasing head but I just preferred the slightly stronger muzzle of the youngster. Lovely forequarters with well laid shoulders and good forechest. Very well sprung ribs, muscular loin to a moderately angled rear. Lacked the drive of the younger B. RBOB

1st Bascombe’s Slapestones Orapa. 7mths D heading up the class. Preferred him for type and movement today. Correct through head and presenting a good outline. Dark eyes and well set ears. Good front assembly with well laid shoulders, good return of upper arm and nice forechest. Good spring of rib and reaching down to elbow. Good tailset and carriage and carriage over moderate rear angulation. Best mover of the three, true coming and going. BP
2nd Astbury’s Kidenoan My First Shot. 10mth D, different shape to 1st. Masculine through head with dark eyes and a cheeky expression. Well made fore and aft with well laid shoulders and a straight front. A happy lad but rather distracted and not being terribly cooperative but did start to settle and showed that he can move straight and true with drive once she concentrates. Just needs time and practice.

Well made forequarters with well laid shoulders and nice forechest. Level back to arched loin and correctly set tail. Not totally happy in her surroundings today but still moved true with drive

2nd Ellis’ FFrind FFyddlon Van Raamvliet (Imp Ned). 21mth D who won his place on his type. Good through head with dark eyes and correctly set ears. Well laid shoulders but lacks forechest and chest just reaching elbows. Good overall shape with level back, slightly arched loin to a correctly set and carried tail. Moderately angled rear, well muscled. Very happy chap and moved well.

Two 6yr olds of different types, both with lots to like. I preferred the shape and type of 2nd but today the overall condition and movement of the winner prevailed.
1st Philipson’s Menstonia Meteor ShCEX. Not my ideal outline but he has lots of other qualities. Masculine head with dark eyes and soft expression. Excels in forequarters, well muscled with well laid shoulders and lovely forechest, good bone and neat feet. Correct topline to moderate rear angles. An easy fluid true mover. BOB
2nd Worth’s Sh Ch Sarabande Lord Of the Dance (AI) JW. Preferred this boy for type, Shorter in leg which gives a more typey outline. Well made forequarters with well laid shoulders, deep chest through to a moderate rear. On the move he is lovely coming and in profile but running close behind and proud of his tail today. RBOB

1st Anderson’s Gunalt Gift Of The Gab. 8mth B and what a stunner. Super youngster, of correct outline, classic feminine head or correct shape and proportions. Good length of neck into well laid shoulders, return of upper arm and good forechest. Straight front and neat feet. Deep ribs under a level topline to a well angled rear. Easy, free driving mover. Close to top honours but BP then thrilled to watch her win Best Puppy in Show.

2nd Henefer’s Lost in Your Eyes. 16mths, rather broad through the skull for me but has a good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Lacks return of upper arm and forechest. Ribs deep under a level topline with a good tail set and carriage. A muscular, moderately angulated rear. Moved true but a little lazy.

1st Willetts’ Prodigy of Jacob. I liked the outline of this 3yr D. He has a pleasing head of good shape and a ‘naughty’ expression. Good through neck into well laid shoulders with enough forechest and depth of rib. Straight front with good bone and neat feet. Good rear angles and a lovely mover when he concentrates, true with drive. RBOB

1st Brown & Filby’s Desjiem Billy Don’t Be A Hero. This 2yr D is another lovely example of the breed. Presenting a lovely outline and correct through head with a good length of neck to very well made forequarters. well laid shoulders, enough F/C and deep well sprung ribs. Level topline when stood correctly, (handler needs to ensure he is covering the right amount of ground on the stand). Well muscled and correctly angulated rear. Good tail set and carriage. Best mover, true, clean with powerful drive. BOB and lovely to see him win Best in Show 4
