My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge the Special Awards classes and to the exhibitors for giving me a good entry. Of 19 entries 4 were present. On the whole the exhibits were of a good standard and well presented. I am pleased to say that the exhibitors accepted my decisions in a sporting manner

Junior 7:1

1st Miss J Hayes & Miss A Hook – Rangali Dennis The Menace

8 month dog who stood out from my first look along the line. Displayed so much confidence. Excellent proportions, lovely harsh coat which was well roomed. Head and skull well balanced displaying a moderate stop. Dark, oval eyes. Ears set on level with eyes and of correct length. Forelegs straight and well boned. Level topline with a strong loin. Good rear angulations. Moved out well

2nd Miss A C evens & Mr P G Hyde – Beabass Usha

6 month bitch. Another good exhibit who should blossom as she matures. Lovely harsh coat. Well balanced head, skull moderately domed. Eyes slightly oval and dark. Ears set on level with eyes ending in a point. Forelegs straight and well boned with strong pasterns. Ribs well rounded, carried well back, level topline. Good rear angulations. Tail thick at base, tapering to a point. Strode out well

3rd Mr M & Mr J Stevenosn-Bromley – Revenite Mrs Bridges

1st Mr R & Mrs F Mackay – CH Shiroblam Blue Ballerina

2 ½ year bitch in excellent condition. Harsh coat which was well presented. Full of confidence. Head and skull well balanced with moderately domed skull. Moderate stop, black nose. Eyes correctly set and dark. Ears on level with eyes, extending to nose when drawn forward. Forelegs straight, well boned. Chest wide and deep, ribs well rounded, carried well back. Level topline. Stifles well bent, good angulations. Correct tail set. Strode out with reach and drive

2nd Mrs C & Miss M Hills – Rangali Gretel at Shimmeree

2 year old bitch with harsh coat. Head and skull of medium length, well balanced. Eyes slightly oval, correctly set and dark. Ears set on level with eyes, extending to nose when drawn forward. Straight forelegs which are well boned. Chest wide and deep with well rounded ribs. Would prefer better rear angulations and better let down hocks

3rd Mrs J Richmond – Hibeck Teddy Bear at Kocalbo

Champion 5:1

1st Mrs J L Perry – CH Blevwil Nick Nack ShCM

7 year old dog showing very little sign of being a veteran. Such a super type displaying all that is desirable in the breed. Excellent proportions throughout. Wonderful dark nose, dark well set eyes, ears correctly set and of correct length. Short muscular neck into slightly sloping shoulders. Chest deep, prominent sternum, ribs well rounded, carried well back. Level topline. Forelegs straight and well boned. Stifles well bent with well let down hocks. Moved with purpose and drive

2nd Mr R & Mrs F Mackay – CH Shiroblam Rumba

8 year old dog again showing little sign of being a veteran. Wel presented and displaying many of the positives of the first. Good head with correct eye and ear set. Short muscular neck into slightly sloping shoulders. Good front with straight well boned forelegs. Ribs well rounded and carried well back. Level topline. Good rear angulations
