Puppy (2,0) 1st Mr S & Mrs K Challis – Vizslanya Domenkos. 9 month old dog who presented excellent overall shape and balance for his age. Masculine head of good proportions. Strong neck of moderate length into laid back shoulders. Deep in chest and good spring of ribs of ribs for age. Moved out well, but could be tighter coming back, am sure will develop with age and benefit from larger ring. BP. 2nd Mrs P & Mr A Connolly – Roughshoot Tiffin. 9 month old bitch of smaller frame but well balanced. Feminine head of good proportions. Straight front with well proportioned bone. Moderate rear angulation. Good coat density and colour. Not as confident as 1 but showed drive on movement to cover the ground.

Open (4,0) 1st Miss C Ward – Sh Ch Danton Obsession With Tantaraviz ShCM. Well proportioned bitch with a feminine head and pleasing eye colour. Strong, clean neck of good length, into well laid shoulders. Straight front and elbows tight to body, and nice tight feet. Good spring to rib and muscular hindquarters. Coat was dense and excellent colour. Moved well, covering the ground with ease. BOB. 2nd Mrs L & Miss L Elliott – Vizslanya Pafrany For Zinniaviz JW. Another quality bitch with feminine head and expression. Well laid shoulders and straight front with medium bone. Good moderate angulation fore and aft. Well developed thighs with good width. Moved well in the small ring but not quite the drive of 1 today. 3rd Mrs J & Miss J Dolman – Zebec Frankel.

Flat Coated Retriever.

Puppy (1,0) 1st Mrs M Romeo-Dieste – Hopevalley Morning Xanadu. 7 month old black bitch full of life. Pleasing head shape with flat, broad skull and small ears. Body developing with deep chest and good spring to rib. Good bone and stood on nice tight feet. Lovely free movement with a lively and energetic tail action. BP.

Post Graduate (3,1) 1st Mr R Lane, Mrs S Lane & Mrs P Lane-Ridyard – Kulawand Cartier. 19 month old black bitch. Feminine head of good proportions. Nice small ears set close to head. Strong front assembly with deep chest, straight forelegs with good bone. Good length to ribs. Good rear angulation. Lovely free-flowing movement around the ring and true coming and going. 2nd Ms S Pingree – Telurn Final Attraction Among Heatheridge. Black male of larger masculine build than 1 but balanced and proportioned. Pleasing head and eye. Forelegs straight and well boned. Good body and strong topline into well muscled hindquarters. Moved freely and soundly with exuberance.

Open (5,0) 1st Mrs V Bowen – Clandrift Bring Me Sunshine JW. Black dog with a masculine moulded head of good proportions and kind expression. Good front assembly with deep chest of defined brisket. Well boned on tight feet. Good ribs and short in loin through to well muscled hindquarters. Despite the small ring he moved with free flowing ease and enthusiasm, true both going away and coming back. BOB. 2nd Miss A Gardiner – Bitcon Taylor Made For Svenjak. Well proportioned bitch with good head shape and proportions. Deep in chest with good width. Well ribbed and short through loin. Moved out well, another using tail to advantage. 3rd Ms S Pingree - Calzeat Gentleman’s Agreement To Heatheridge JW ShCEx (Imp SWE).

English Springer Spaniel.

Puppy (2,0) 1st Mrs J Williams, Mrs D Toublic and Miss P Toublic – Cobhay Dashing Dandelion. 11 month old L/W male. Masculine head with good chiselling beneath the eyes. Well set lobular ears. Straight front and good bone, stood on nice tight feet. Body is maturing well, with good spring of rib for age and strong rear quarters. Sound movement, which improved in BOB challenge when not distracted by littermate. BP. 2nd Mrs J Williams, Mrs D Toublic and Miss P Toublic – Cobhay Heavenly Hydrangea. 11 month old L/W bitch, littermate to 1. Pretty feminine head with soft eye expression. Shoulders well laid back. Balanced in outline but not the finish of her brother at this point. Enjoying her day as puppies should, movement showed promise but once again distracted by presence of littermate.

Open (3,0) 1st Mrs C Simmons – Dexbenella Frivolity. L/W bitch. Compact and well proportioned. Feminine head of good proportion, ears set well. Strong neck into sloping shoulders. Good spring of ribs and strong through loin to rear quarters. Moved well but small ring didn’t really allow more than a pacing stride. BOB. 2nd Miss A Gardiner – Barecho Cover Girl Of Svenjak (Imp SWE). Another quality L/W bitch with much to like. Good head and expression. Strong neck, straight front with enough bone. Good balanced body and strong topline. Moved out well and in profile. Close call to 1. 3rd Mrs J Williams, Mrs D Toublic and Miss P Toublic – Cobhay Fancy Phlox.
