Thankyou for the invitation to judge at this society. I enjoyed my trip and had quality exhibits to assess.

Golden retriever 

Post grad

1.warden. holinbrae zoom at Glentochty. 16 month. Very little between these two dogs. I found my winner to be better in the neck area at this stage. He has a lovely head showing balance to skull. Correct mouth good ear set. Stands on good feet with excellent bone.very liked his fore and aft construction. He moved really well. In good coat.

2.Tait. Strathlon here comes the sun at muchart JW.

Well muscled youngster who moved with good drive from rear. Another with a good head construction.

1. Wallis Blue gemstone Katrina at Camellis. 5 Yr make very sound indeed. Well muscled throughout his body. Shows no coarseness. Super coat . Tail set on correctly and used his tail well. Head has beautiful construction with correct eye drawing a hood expression. Good to see another exhibit with correct bone and feet. Pleased to award BOB.

Gordon Setter open

1. Miller & Scobie Yennadon Calvay JW. What a cracking lad indeed. head is what I consider to be a good Gordon. Great muzzle dark eyes. Ears set on well. Elbows to chest. On the move he showed his construction and fitness on a good stride with even footing. BOB 

2. TAITS foresters Northern lights of dark Moor at Muchhart JW(IMPDEU). Such a shame there was no younger classes for this young male Gordon's are a slow maturing breed. Really liked hime. Correct front assembly. Tail set and used well. Drove from his good rear. 

Cocker spaniel

Post grad

1. McLean lynwater black and blue. Loved his overall shape and outline. Very smart in good condition and coat. Head is typical cocker showing a lovely eye. Great shape to muzzle. Has depth to brisket. Good ribcage. Tail set correct. Moved out and back with a clean stride.

2. Scotland Lynwater my fair lady. What a beautiful girl she is. Very well put together. Movement is true. Has a very good outline.

1. Todd, Rahman. Sh Ch Chattaway dark crystal. Solid black an in today's venue with the artificial lighting it was an absolute please to feel what I initially saw at first glance. Very much a cocker . Has a classic beautiful skull. Stands on great confirmation throughout showing strength and balance. Her muscles are in great condition which enabled her to power around the ring with purpose and prude. Pleased to award BOB and group 1.

2, Scotland lynwater anything goes. Another beauty from this Kennel. Moved well around the rung. Has good outline and tail set. Preferred the overall balance and front of winner.

Weimaraner

1. Sayer & Wallwork Braefell Bumblebee. Headed a good class. She flows all through from her head with correct muzzle to her tail. Has great muscle tone which with her construction enabled her to move with ease and drive. Shown in good order. Correct feet shape. BOB. Group 3.

2. Cairns Lamarg Silver Huntsman . A young male who will mature at a steady pace. Stands correctly on good bone and feet. Has quarter quarters. In good coat. 

Hungarian Vizsla

1. Sadly only one entry attended. 2yr B. Hamiltons Gunfield Nordic Dream. Head is pleasing with a good colour to eyes. Ears well set. Correct mouth. Another exhibit that is well muscled. Deep chested. Good bone. Moved round in a precise manner. BOB.

Retriever labradorite.

Post grad

1. Lawrie Dechlaw Highland mist. Black male. Just a youngster but he is really nicely made. Has a good construction throughout and his head and eye are lovely. Correct mouth. Deep through chest area . Has good bone and feet. Moved really well. Great muscle tone. 

2. Gilroy Claychalk Costa Taka. A sweet girl indeed. Beautiful feet. Good colour to eyes. Correct mouth. construction throughout is pleasing. On the move she used her tail really well.

1.Gilroy Albians Athos Cum Claychalk. Loved him. Very balanced throughout nothing overdone in any department. Correct depth to muzzle. Lovely eyes..Good coat. Lovely on the move. BOB.

2. LENNOX Wilenmory Ozone Free. Carries tail to high and not as clean in rear movement. Correct coat texture. Good bone and shape to feet. 

AVNSC Gundog post grad.

1. Stevenson Peasblossom Brogan at Gaolachcara. ESS. 14month make. Loved him! Has a really good shaped skull. Nice eye set and colour. Ears set on correctly. Good flews. Elbows to chest correct. Good shape to rib area. Well muscled. In good cost. Moved really well. A nice youngster.

2. Browns. Mauretania Meadie. Clumber spaniel. Very smart boy. When mature will be even better. Has typical clumber bone and feet strong and steady. Lovely texture to coat. Chest and ribs pleasing. Correct well held tail on the move. 

AVNSC GUNDOG OPEN

1.

Knowles & Glen Bessalone Shameless. Italian Spinone. Only a raw youngster but shows the construction required for this breed. So laid back in temperament. Well muscled throughout enabling good movement fore and aft with an easy stride. Head has the desired planes with correct mouth and muzzle. Correct eye set and colour. Group 2.

2. Bains Crimblecurl time to tango at Wenichones JW. Curly coat retriever. Really liked this girl. Has a great texture to coat. Beautiful head and muzzle with a good eye set. Strong construction without any coarseness. Moved so easily round the ring.

2. Nathan Shoogsea Heir cocker spaniel. Unlucky to meet the labrador in this class. Has a very sweet head with lovely expression and eye. In good coat. Stands on well shaped feet. Good top line and tail set. Moved well. 

AV gundog puppy.

1.Todd & Rahman Zheridons Blanche. What a little stunner she is. Has absolutely everything a cocker should represent. Her muscle tone is fantastic. Exquisite head with a good eye and muzzle. Very well constructed and ribbed well. Very clean in out line. Has correct footfall and movedcwith drive. 

2. Knowles & Glen Sanjika Icona at Bessalone Italian Spinone. Another raw youngster showing potential. Good in overall construction and movement. Correct mouth. Good ears. Correct coat. Like her very much on the move. 

AV GUNDOG VETERAN

1. Sh Ch Yennandon Benriach JW SHCEX. Gordon Setter. 7 yrs. In excellent coat. Not overdone in any way. Depth to muzzle with good stop. Well shaped flews. Nicely shaped feet and toes. Well ribbed. Moved with a very good stride fore and aft. 

2. Drummond Pollham Marley at Drumonagh labrador. Beautiful outline. Has strength through construction. Movement fore and aft very good. Holds top line well.

4. Gerrard Carmandine count on me Pointer. Just short of 7 yrs old. Moved well around the ring showing his length of stride and drive. Good depth of chest to elbow. Ribbed back. Strength in topline. Good skull construction. Ears well set. Shown in good condition throughout.
