Thank you to the club, my stewards and those who very kindly entered after SWKA Championship Show. It can be a long day for dogs and owners, so each and every entry was appreciated and I enjoyed the opportunity to judge our wonderful breed.

1 Grey’s Rhajikhan Walking On Water. Brindle 15 months upstanding male of good outline. Lovely head, eye and strength. Long neck into good shoulders. Level top line, strong loin, well angled fallaway. Balanced angulation, sure footed and ring tail. 

2 Cook’s Darling Boy Paul OGrady. Cream 13 months. Finer throughout and lacking the strength, neck and angulation of 1. Pleasing head, ring tail raised in action.

1 Harwood's Altside Too Hot To Handle JW. Cream Domino 2 years. Nice outline, masculine throughout, level top line, balanced fore and aft, looks very ring tail always held well. Very well muscled. Kept a lovely shape while moving well. Well presented.

2 Thompson’s Drishaun Rock Me Baby Gothika. Gold 19 months. A finer type, well made with good front, rear angles and super ribbing not seen in too many Afghans today. Excellent topline. Would like to see him move more steadily. 

3 Istani Davidoff The Game JW.

1 French’s Sitana Moon Knight at Zalmeerah. Black/tan 2 years. Balanced, square outline, masculine head, long neck into good front, level top line, strong loin, nicely angled rear, ring tail. Moved well. RBD.

LD (7,2)

1 Roper & Moore’s Sitana The Kingsman at Temenshu. 2 years, gold of beautiful type. All male, super head with dark eyes, strong neck into the best of fronts. Good length and depth of ribs. Big feet flat to the ground. Balanced rear. Moved with a spring and stride that stood out today. BD RBIS.

2 Mitchell & Smithson’s Zandahar Xplosive Storm. 6 years, Gold grizzle. Very nice outline, masculine throughout. Very pleasing to go over such a well made and put together dog with little to dislike in build. Covers good ground, if only he held himself better moving.

3 Harwood's Krishan Rainbow Warrior.

1 Latimer’s Ch Jeremiah De Koulanger at Zharook JW VW Imp. Gold 10 years and showing no signs of slowing down. Super condition and coat. Balanced head with aloof expression. Super front, topline, strong loin and correct fallaway. Ring tail. Moved soundly with great style. BV.

2 Gunn & Cannon’s Int Lux Ch Amal Salang Hey I'm The Star at Zushkhan VW Imp. 9 years Black/brindle. Super feminine lady who excels for me in head qualities. Long neck, square outline, level top line, moved well with good athleticism.

1 Nisbet Forrester & Smith’s Finix Just A Girl AI. 20 months Black/cream of a type I like. Lovely head with chiselling and dark eye. Strong neck into a good front. Well ribbed, strong short loin, balanced rear. Ring tail. Used the ring well to demonstrate good movement. All came together in true Afghan style to head today's line up. BB. BIS. 

2 Rhodes Shaverneva & Garrard’s Alaqadar Ariodante of Shadowfax Imp. 22 months black/brindle spirited young lady. Well put together with good front and rear, level top line, good fallaway and lovely ring tail. Excellent spring to her good stride.

1 Latimer & Gorman’s Sitana Moon Star at Zharook JW. 2 years gold of a classic type. Attractive head. Long neck leading to a well constructed front, Stands straight on big feet. Good topline, pins, fallaway and ring tail. Balanced quarters. Moved well.

1 Mitchell Smithson & Thornton’s Absolute Afghans India at Karnak Imp. 4 years gold of lovely type. Super front, excellent ribbing, short loin and balanced quarters. Covers good ground. Very well presented in excellent condition.

2 Tanner & Link’s Rhajikhan Athena of Aleyazar. 3 years brindle of upstanding type. Lacked the strength, balance and qualities of 1 for me. Well placed shoulder. In good coat.

1 Cullen’s Cloudside Sevillana at Eweyisska AI. 5 years Black of nice type. Balanced head, dark eye, long neck into a good front. Very well ribbed. Balanced rear and ring tail. Lacked a little lustre today but a well deserved RBB.
