My thank yous go to the committee for the invitation to judge the club show. Thank you to exhibitors for your entry and your sportsmanship. Also, thank you to Ellis and Rosie for stewarding perfectly.

I found the breed very even across the board. Coat I was looking at last due to the time of year and I am fully aware of how dropping a coat can change the overall appearance. The heat played a small factor in movement and attention, I took this into account as much as possible when placing. Temperament throughout was outstanding as was presentation. All correct bites, a couple need to watch the dog’s nails, some were getting long and spoiling the feet.

Veteran dog (5,1a)

1st Short’s Ch Glenchess Gregory. 8 year old and looking in pristine shape. I like his profile, he was showing a good, well balanced shape. Correct shape to head with eyes of good shape. Skull nice and broad, with good stop. Ears are set well with correct shape giving that spitz look with the soft expression. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders. The front is good with nice depth of chest and good for bone. Correct feet. Good rib set, lovely length of body. Good loin into the desired croup, Tail set well carried nicely. Good hind angulation with good muscle. In good coat, well presented. On the move was a lovely stride, very nice in profile. Really nice dog. BD RBIS BOSIS BVIS.

2nd Woolard’s Ch Infindigo Lintu Miika. Slightly larger frame than 1 but still maintains a good profile. This 7 year old has good ring presence. Another with a good head, good length of muzzle, correct stop. Lovely shape to eyes. Ears are set well and used really well. He has a good front, another good for bone with correct feet. Lovely depth of chest, nice for shoulder set, good topline, nice length of body, correct tail set. Hind angulation is good with good muscle. Good for hock, really shows drive on the move. Coat in excellent condition.

3rd Samuel’s Oberitz Upponalle. 9 year old showing well. Very typy, has a good profile. Lovely shape skull with adequate muzzle. Nice stop, lovely shape to eyes. Ears set well and used to enhance his expression. Lovely length of neck, well placed shoulders, correct feet. Nicely bodied throughout, has a good set to tail, rear angulation is good as is the muscle tone. Coat in good condition, presented well. Another good mover, just preferred the fluidity of the first two.

1st Allison’s Lahetaby Joulukoriste by Oberitz. Lovely pup maturing well but still a way to go. I would like to see him in a year or two. Loved his attitude and temperament. He has a good shape to him. In general, shows a good profile, with a good skull, nice muzzle. Clean neck, good front, nice feet. Has a good depth of chest into a good loin. Correct angles at the rear. In general, good for shape, I would just like him to mature a bit more. In good coat, presented well. Could not match the other puppy dog on the movement today but did show good stride.

1st Whyman & Murray’s Lappviken Keltainen of Manu. A really nicely balanced boy. Super profile. His head is good, showing masculinity for his age. Has a really good shape in profile which done him well. I just found him very typical, and everything was there without exaggeration. I was impressed by his skull shape, showing correct ratios for skull to muzzle. Lovely shape to eye. Ears set well. A lovely neck into correct placed shoulders. Lovely front, good bone, correct feet. Good depth of chest with lovely length of back. Nicely coupled into a well-muscled rear. Good angles at the back with good stifle. Moved out really well. In excellent coat. I would love to see how this boy gets on in the future. BPD RBPIS BOSPIS

Post Graduate Dog (3,1a)

1st Daly’s Tabanyaruu Borealis Boo. Just shy of two years. This male showed a classic outline, a very typical balanced shape. He scored well in skull, has a lovely muzzle, correct stop, lovely shape to eye and ears set correctly. Enough neck into correct shoulder. Has a good depth of chest, well for bone. Good feet. The length of back is good with a nice topline, well-muscled at the rear, coat in good condition. On the move showing correct gait.

2nd Thomas’ Elbereth Lapinpeikko (AI). Similar attributes to this boy just lacking in coat which spoiled the overall picture. A male of lovely shape. Similar size to 1. Good skull with lovely dentition, good shape to muzzle. Correct eyes, good stop. Lovely shape and set to ears. Good neck, well placed shoulders, enough depth of chest and good feet. He has a lovely length of back, well coupled, into a lovely, muscled rear. Moved out with great stride. On this day I preferred the overall picture of 1.

1st Anderson’s Limishka Vainamoinen. 3 year presenting a good shape. Has a nicely balanced outline. A nice clean wedge shape head, lovely muzzle, good stop, correct eye, good shape to skull with correct set ears coated well. Good neck, lovely well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, lovely topline with tail correctly set and carried well at all times. Correct rear which justifies the lovely movement. Coat presented in good condition.

2nd Aristides-Pickard’s Sambreeze Mikki Bear Cub. Also 3 year and similar notes apply to that of 1. I liked his over all shape. Nice shape to head, dark eye, lovely lay of shoulder, good front, well set ribs, nicely coupled. Movement was good showing a really good stride. Presented in good condition. 1 just had that bit more on the move today.

Open Dog (4)

1st Forsey’s CH Arianrhod Black Sun Aeon at Muzoku.4 year old. years, he is well balanced, and so attentive to his handler at all times. He has a lovely head shape, with good muzzle, correct bite. Well set ears of correct shape. Correct shoulders and good front. Nice feet, good length to neck. Well up on body with correct topline and nice chest and rib set. Well set tail of good length. Coat in good condition, preferring the texture of BDs coat and BD was a touch more fluid on the move. RBD

2nd Thomas’ CH Elbereth Tuulenpoika JW. Close up on 1s heels, this 7 year old was showing well. I liked this one for the masculine outline. well balanced, very impressive in head plains. Good muzzle, correct bite. Lovely set ears which were used well. Good in front, good bone and nice deep chest, good spring of rib, correct feet, well coupled, good rear assembly, nicely coupled, suitably muscled, a good mover showing typy effortless action. In good coat which was presented well.

3rd Samuel’s Oberitz Buoremus. 4 year old of good shape and size. Has a lovely skull and muzzle, good bite and lovely eye shape. Ears set well, enhancing the exprerssion. Clean neck, nice shoulders and good in front. Has a good rib, good coupling and nice rear angles. Rear angles are correct and muscled well. Coat in good condition. Just preferred the movement of the first two on this occasion.

1st Thomas’ CH Elbereth Pelinainen JW. 10 year old and in super condition. I liked this one for her shape. Well balanced with a super profile. She has a lovely head showing good shape, lovely length of muzzle, good dentition, has a lovely shape eye of a good colour. Ears are set well, lovely length of neck, well placed shoulders. Good depth of chest and lovely bone. Good length of body, strong long, into nicely angulated rear. Well muscled, Tail set correct. Coat in really good condition and presented well. Moved well not showing signs of aging.

2nd Critchlow’s CH Pavoskas Ceili JW. 7 years of age. Slightly smaller frame than 1 but showing similar balance and proportions. A nice clean wedge shape head, lovely muzzle, good stop, correct eye, good shape to skull with correct set ears coated well. Good neck, lovely well placed shoulders, good depth of chest, lovely topline with tail correctly set and carried well at all times. Correct rear which justifies the lovely movement. Coat presented in good condition.

Spec Vintage Bitch (3,1a)

1st Aristides-Pickard’s Sambreeze Tiianmaria. 10 year old. Looking really typy in profile. Good head shape, feminine skull with correct muzzle to skull ratios. Ears set up high, carried well. Good shape eyes of correct colour which gives her the best of expressions. Well muscled neck, Body is in correct proportions, Excellent angulation, good for bone and absolutely in good condition. Good chest, good length of back. Rear angles are good, feet are correct, tail is set well and carried correctly. In good coat of correct textures. Her movement is good showing typical gait. BVB BOSVIS

2nd Thomas’ Elbereth Suvituuli JW. 12 year old and in such good condition. I loved her shape and size in profile, showing balance. A lovely shape to head. Lovely muzzle. Nice dark eyes of correct shape. Correct dentition, Correct set ears of good shape and carried well. Lovely front to her, good for bone, good feet. Well placed shoulders, correct depth to chest and well sprung ribs. Nicely coupled, Good rear angulation, really well muscled, good turn of stifle, well let down hocks. Tail set well and carried well on the move. In lovely coat which is in excellent condition. On the move she was striding out well but couldn’t match 1 on the move today.

Minor Puppy Bitch (2)

1st Moore’s Samerajerna’s Zaluda of Morval (IMP Swe). 8 months and just so nice to go over. I liked her size and shape, she is mature for her age with just a smidge more of maturing to go. Superb temperament. In profile is so good for balance and type. She has a wonderful skull with correct muzzle and good dentition. Lovely eyes, ears set well and when paying attention showed a lovely expression. Nice enough neck, well placed shoulders, good front, correct feet. Good for depth of chest. Lovely length of back and good for loin. Has nice rear angles, well-muscled and tail set well. Coat in really good condition and presented well. Has lovely movement. No hesitation for BPIS. Cannot wait to see her in the future.

2nd Forsey’s Muzoku Black Magic. Of similar age to 1 with a smaller frame leaving plenty of room for maturity. Not the most confident of puppies here today. Hopefully, this confidence will come with maturity. Lovely head Shape and good dark eye, absolute darling expression, correct bite, good ear set, Nice front and good spring of rib. Well angulated front and back. Tail set well and used well. Moved out well, effortless with nice drive from behind.

2nd Cross’ Lappviken Timantii of Manu. 9 month showing a super shape. Another with some maturing to do. She shows a lovely profile. I was particularly keen on her head shape, a rather neat wedge, with correct muzzle to skull, good stop and eyes of good shape. Nice chest and good shoulders, good for bone. Lovely topline, good length of back and rear end well muscled. Nice tight feet. Good tail. Moved well with drive when settled.

Junior Bitch (2)

1st Jackson’s Elbereth Unisieppari JW. 14 months old and just beautiful. Just so typy from nose to toes. Her profile shows correct balance and shape. She is good for size showing balance all round. Everything seemed to be spot on without exaggerations. Had the best of head shapes, typical expression, with lovely muzzle and correct bite, gorgeous eyes and ears set well. Has a good front, with correct shoulders. Good depth of chest, lovely feet, Topline is correct, length of body is good, tail set well and correctly used on the move. Has lovely hind angles, superb for muscle. Coat is excellent condition showed correct textures. Presented well. Moved out really well. Best mover on the day. BB BIS. Found out later that she has just gained her champion title. I’m not surprised.

2nd Critchlow & Cooper’s Pavoskas Ilomieli. 13 months old. A nice girl just not giving her all today, distracted by everything on the ground so difficult to assess. Nice in profile and well balanced clean outline. I liked her head, she was showing a very typical wedge shape. nice muzzle, good teeth. Well in front and good for bone, nice feet, well placed shoulders and good rib set, deep chested, nicely coupled and good for rear movement. Another one with effortless, light movement when focussed.

Good wedge shaped head, dark eye of correct shape, well set ears, nice bite, strong neck, well for front, well placed shoulders, good for bone with nice feet. Excellent rib set, good topline, good loin, well coupled, good rear angles, muscled well. Tail set well and of good length. Moved out well showing real drive.

3rd Proctor’s Alkantara Talvi Hamara with Cathbri. 2.5 year old. In profile, coming across as a little too high in leg for me. However, a good shape to head, correct bite, good neck. Ok in front, well for bone. Good feet. Nice depth of chest, well sprung rib. Good topline, Well muscled rear, good stifle and well let down hocks. Tail set well. Moved out well showing good drive.

2nd Woolard’s Infindigo Onnekas Kielo. 4 year bitch. Really nice to look at in profile, beautifully presented. Good ratio for muzzle to skull, Nice bite, correct eye shape, well set ears used well. Correct in front with a deep chest and good for bone. Nice topline, good rear assembly, well muscled. Tail set well and carried well on the move. Moved out well, full of drive, a good free flowing mover. Coat in good quality and condition.

3rd Critchlow’s Pavoskas Fuchsia. 3 year old. Showing a good, feminine profile, Lovely typical head, good dark eye, ears set well and used to advantage. Good placement of shoulder, front was good, nice feet. Good angles at the rear, coat in excellent condition. Moved out well.

Open Bitch (4,1a)

1st Critchlow’s CH Pavoskas Disco JW ShCex OSW. 6 years old and lots to admire. In such good condition. In profile, really eye catching and very typical shape. Very well balanced. Good shape to head with correct muzzle to skull, lovely eyes, ears set well and of good shape. Well bodied, good front, nice rib set. Correct topline, lovely length of back, good loin, tail set well, rear angles are good. Coat presented well and in good condition and texture. Moved out so well. RBB

2nd Graystone’s CH Morval Helina Keiju. Also six years. Similar notes apply to this one to 1st. I also liked her head for that typical wedge shape. Correct muzzle and nice stop. The eyes are of correct shape which together with the correct set ears finishes off the look. This bitch has an excellent shape to her. Good head shape and a lovely shape to eye. Nice shape to neck, good placement of shoulders and a nice front. Correct feet, lovely rib set. Correct rear angles. Tail set well and used correctly. Moved out well with very typical gait.

3rd Anderson & Nardone’s CH Limishka Kareitar JW. 3.5 years old. Another good bitch completing this lovely class. Lovely profile, with excellent shape to skull. Good muzzle, correct bite, clean stop. Ears set well. Well-developed front, good feet. Lovely lay of shoulder, good depth of chest. Lovely length of back, Nicely coupled, tail set well. The movement was very typical.
