POMERANIAN I would like to say a huge thank you to the officers and committee of the Society for inviting me to judge my favourite breed at their well-run show. Comfortable venue, The Kennel Club building. I thoroughly enjoyed my day. A special thank you to everyone, who entered their lovely dogs under me, I was delighted with my entry number, 26/27. I was pleased to see good quality Poms and healthy competition in every class. It was my pleasure to go over all of them. Class 205 - PUPPY 6 entries (1A) 1st LIREVA’S JUST ON A DAYDREAM, Cawthera-Purdy A M. Almost 7 month old bright orange female, in smaller size, with super profile. Beautiful foxy like head with pleasant eyes and expression. Good dentition. Small ears. Short neck, set well into shoulders, compact body. Level top line. Well sprung ribs. Straight tail, set high, with good plum and carriage, well feathered. Her coat is very well developed for her age, with correct double structure. Showed herself in style, stood beautifully, attentive to her handler. Moved nicely in all directions. BPIB. Delighted to see her winning BEST PUPPY IN TOY GROUP. 2nd LILROSA’S RIDE OF YOUR LIFE, Slough G. 7 month old clear orange male of medium size. Nice head of clean lines, with sweetest eyes and expression. Excellent pigmentation. Perfect dentition. Beautiful outline, level top line, well sprung ribs of good depth. Good length of leg, they are perfectly parallel, both front and rear. Straight tail with good plum and carriage. Nicely trimmed cat-like feet. The coat is still developing. He moved freely and behaved very well for his handler. Class 206 - JUNIOR 7 entries (2A) 1st PAAVALI’S PRIVATE DANCER AT CASSIBAWN, Gooch Mr L & Mrs N. Attractive 16 month-old, cream girl of medium size. Well matured for her age, expertly trimmed to perfect her shape, she’s definitely stood out in the ring. She has short muzzle with pronounced stop, pleasant eyes, beautifully pigmented rims, nose and lips. Correct dentition. Small ears. Good cage of ribs, level top line, very nice straight tail, set high, with flat carriage, profusely covered with long hush hair. Well prepared coat of correct structure. Creating a nice profile while standing, attentive to her handler. Moved freely. 2nd LIREVA’S MERRY FLY THE BEAR, Cawthera-Purdy A M. Only 7 month old orange baby girl of nice size. Lovely head, in clean, well proportioned, foxy like outline. Beautiful eyes in oval shape with pleasant expression. Compact body, with level top line and good leg length. Straight tail, set high with good plum. I liked her a lot and considered for BPIB. She moved freely, but just tad too close in her rear leg then moving away. Class 207 - POST GRADUATE 7 entries (4A) 1st YOSHIPOM BORN READY, Ngai J. Bright orange 1,5-year old boy of medium size. Good coat of correct structure. Beautiful, dark eyes, perfectly set, with foxy like head and super sweet expression. Excellent dentition. Lovely black pigment of eye rims, nose and lips. Compact body, set in square with good length of leg. Straight tail, set high with a good plum and carriage, beautifully feathered. Fine bone, parallel legs with medium angulation. Lively and alert to his handler. Moved freely whilst settled. 2nd BELLA JEAN, Roberts D & R. 15 month old girl in good coat of cream colour. She is of medium size, slightly longer in body. Pleasant head and expression. But I would prefer slightly smaller sized eyes. Fine bone, parallel legs, front and rear. Well feathered tail carried nicely on top of her back. She is lively and happy, attentive to her handler, moved freely in all directions. Class 208 - OPEN 7 Entries (4A) 1st LIREVA’S WILD TO FLY THE BEAR. Very attractive 12 month old orange male. In ideal weight and size for a male, I would say. Rich coat, of correct structure, very well prepared and trimmed to compliment his shape. Nice head of correct proportions, foxy in outline, good stop. Small ears, erect at all times. Good dentition. Short neck, well set into shoulders. Fine boned, medium angulation. Good cage of ribs, well sprung with enough depth. Straight flat tail, profusely covered with harsh hair. Moved well with good action. Lively and intelligent. My BOB. I was happy to see him winning 4th place in strong adult TOY GROUP. 2nd LIREVA’S WELL FANCY THAT FOR CASSIBAWN, Gooch L & N. Another good quality 1,5 years old, orange boy, slightly bigger than 1. Beautifully matured since last time I’ve judged him. Clean head lines with well set oval shaped eyes and small ears. Correct dentition. Good cage of ribs, level top line, very nice straight tail, set high, with flat carriage, profusely covered with long hair. Well prepared coat, neatly trimmed. He’s creating a beautiful picture while standing, I would just prefer slightly shorter neck, to be set closer into shoulders and a tad less angulation in the rear.
